California native John Fraser, who is spearheading the food and beverage experience at The West Hollywood EDITION, has created signature restaurant Ardor as a showcase for vegetable-forward healthy California cuisine with flavors inspired by local ingredients. Recognized as one of the best vegetable chefs in the world, Fraser’s menu features an artful balance of produce and meats, using techniques from around the world and products sourced hyper-locally. Each dish is made with organic ingredients and focuses on the essence of food, prepared simply and presented socially for a contemporary culinary journey.

Reservations are seated based on availability at arrival and are allocated 2 hours to dine once seated. Reservation of 5 or greater will be allocated 2.5 hours. Full party must be present in order to be seated & we allow a 15 minute grace period.

The food and service were great. Ambience was quiet. If I wanted anything more, it would be a larger CA wine selection…. But hardly a negative. Highly recommend this place.

Great experience, drinks are one the strongest I’ve had in LA, ambiance is sensual and warm. Service was great. Lamb wasn’t the best, filet mignon was delicious along with their tomato jam tomatoes (yummy)

This was my first time at Ardor and it was absolutely wonderful. Their highly rated Milk Bread and Tempura Onion Rings were worthy of the hype. If your looking to share, I highly recommend the Tomahawk steak as it was cooked to perfection. If you have a canine fur baby awaiting your return, be sure to bring home the bone. We finished the evening with the smores, which were torched tableside. A perfect finish to the evening. I will be returning.

Overpriced and under delivered. My goddess salad was $24 for some pretty basic greens, and the addition of four overcooked shrimp with no flavor added another $24...certainly not worth $50. Patio is lovely, but it is Sunset Blvd adjacent so a bit noisy.

Some of the dishes were interesting like the arugula risotto, but some appetizers were underseasoned like the charred oyster mushroom, unfortunately, the main courses fell short too, the sweet potato curry felt like such a rip-off and lacked flavor, and the agnolotti pasta was just too much corn on corn lacked the depth of flavor, the servers were nice, the ambiance and drinks were nice too.

We’re in the restaurant industry, and pretty critical…but we had an incredible experience. Food was creative without any weirdness…wiped the plates clean. Utterly impressed with use of vegetables. Service was spot on,…casual, helpful, fun, and professional. And the patio was gorgeous. Bit of an oasis in the city. Congratulations.

The food here is literally next level! I couldn't get over how delicious everything was. We started with the king crab and pasta moved on to the shrimp with polenta and ended with branzino. We had dessert which was a gooseberry Pizza. In a million years I never would have ordered something like this but reading the rave reviews from everybody we had to try it and it was a delicious. If you're on a budget definitely don't come to this restaurant. But if you are true Foodies and you'll pay any price for a fantastic meal get in the car now and head on over.

The flavors of the vegan options we tried: the oyster mushrooms and nopal, ratatouille, and curry were outstanding. It was a great experience. The portions convey exclusivity and scarcity when you may be hoping for abundance. Staff know the menu very well. So, if portion size is important just be candid in discussing menu options.

Really good food. Kind of a hotel crowd but the service was amazing! We ordered 3 apps (the tartare, king crab, and the pork belly) all were amazing. We split the bass (8/10) and got the s’mores for dessert. Will definitely go back

Went to Ardor for a small birthday dinner and sat outside amid the gorgeous greenery. We couldn’t have had a better meal. The service was great (thank you Gideon!), the ambiance stunning and the food - exceptional! Make sure to order the milk bread upfront, also the pork bellies , green goddess salad, the cauliflower steak over goat cheese, onion rings… the list goes on! Fabulous mango dessert! Plus chocolate truffles for the birthday girl. It’s not a cheap dinner and hotel valet is pretty pricey but who cares! Ardor is worth it. We will definitely be back!

Typical West Los Angeles arrogance where they treat the customer like we should be grateful to dine at their restaurant. From the time you arrive at the hotel valet where it is $50 to park for dinner to the arrogant restaurant host you want to turnaround and find another restaurant. Many other better places in Los Angeles to choose from. Will not be returning.

Everything but the food was OK. The food could do with a chef involved as clearly whoever was in the kitchen knew nothing about flavour or how to cook. Raw cauliflower steak, actually inedible, half a roast chicken that did not taste of chicken, rather a mild antiseptic cleaning agent. Skin on, but flobby. A side of snow peas that just reinforced the cooks lack of basic skill. Nice place, horrid food. Avoid until they get a chef.

I highly recommend Ardor brunch. The service was incredible, I would say they went above and beyond. The decor is lovely and the dessert table is beautiful! Most important the food was delicious! We had the brunch menu and everything that came out was amazing, our favorites were probably the seafood and the charcuterie board and the milk bread. We will be back to try the other dinner / lunch menus. Thanks Ardor for a great time!

Absolutely loved this place. Food was amazing (pork belly, filet mignon, and various drinks, plus strawberry shortcake for desert) our waiter was amazing and extremely friendly. Great date restaurant or even for a business meal.

Everything was great except we arrived 10 minutes early and they would not seat us until they opened, understandable…. But the fact that nobody would acknowledge us when we entered the restaurant was sort of bad on their part. Also the chicken was a little dry and probably would not order it again. But everything else was good.
