   The ambiance and service was amazing. The food was very good, however the five of us in our party all agreed that their portions were very small. Also, small pet-peeve and small critique, their valet charge was absurdly high, that it would actually weigh-in on us going there again.

   Nice ambience and service, the typical good looking and fancy style of WeHo restaurants experience, you pay for the location too, easily can spend $500+ for 4 people including drinks. Food is okay, not that memorable where you would want to come back, the portions are more on the weight-conscious sides. I would return for drinks and hang out with friends rather than trying to feed my hungry self.

   Find the full review in 4K on my Instagram @rickzagor on March 13. Sorry to self plug, but trying my best to grow the food content following. Ardor was very nice. Went on a dinner for two. ordered the Milk Bread, Hamachi, Shrimp, Onion Rings, Crab Pasta & Steak. Aperol Spritz was good too. Milk Bread: very good brioche bread, but very salty. Hamachi: did not like. Fish quality was good, but the tarragon sauce was not it. Crab Pasta; amazing, very well balanced. Shrimp: amazing, just wish the shrimp were more & smaller than fewer & bigger. They were huge. Polenta was 10/10. Onion rings: just get them. Trust me. Steak: average steak, nothing to write home about but good overall. Service was excellent. They check up on you all the time. Overall, I’d give it a solid 8.5/10. There’s a few things I didn’t like, but nothing major. Small things like the tarragon & the overly salted everything. I didn’t even drink but I felt hungover the next morning from the amount of salt on all the food. Will definitely go back! Thanks Ardor!

    It was a bit shocking how poor the service was and it wasn’t even busy in the restaurant. I took a client for lunch and must say the service colored my experience even tho the food was good. Doubt I will be back

    We went to celebrate my mom's birthday. Everyone from the host, to the sommelier, to the server; the service was outstanding. They had so many menu options to fit a variety of dietary restrictions, even the mocktails were so tasty. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN AGAIN!

    Surprised they didn’t have more breakfast options, like even a Benedict. But very delicious English muffin. Quality food and even better service. The staff is incredibly kind!

    Beautiful room and atmosphere. The food was exceptional and the service top notch. Our waiter was extremely profession, being there at the right moments, and the support servers all working as a fluid team. Looking forward to dining here again!

    I went to dinner here for a date with my husband. We love the Edition and finally got around to trying Ardor. When you walk in, it’s like you’re in a private oasis with all the beautiful greenery. The lighting is romantic and glowy, not dim & dark. The service is incredible, they were all so attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. My old fashioned was strong and tasty, and my husbands mocktail was also delicious. As for the food - also amazing! The stand out was the sweet potato curry, it was so flavorful & satisfying. All the dishes were beautifully presented, decent portions & very flavorful/fresh. Would definitely recommend Ardor!

    Quite disappointing if I’m honest. Venue was lovely, food was okay. Nothing to hype about. Was my partners 30th. Also had customers birthday as well. They received complimentary Prosecco and cake. I know as we were sitting next to them. I specifically said it’s my partners 30th and she got nothing. I mentioned this and nothing was done after. Waiter said “but I’m you’re friend” what the bloody hell does that do for me. I don’t know you, why are you calling me your friend. Give my partner a cake to make it feel special for her. Overall, I’m highly disappointed and will never go back again because of this.

    Service, ambiance, and food were all amazing. All of the staff was super attentive and knowledgeable. Our food was taking a little while which was fine for us since we were in no rush but our waiter gave us a free drink each as a thank you for our patience. I would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning.

    Came across this just looking through Yelp. It was a great experience. If you’re looking for a place with amazing cocktails great appetizers and don’t mind having a bit of a wait time for things (it was fully booked restaurant) then this is the place for you. We were seated on the sides back near the bar, which felt like the “white chicks reject table” but it was actually very pleasant. It kept us away from the noise. The Japanese bread is a MUST appetizer, it just melts in your mouth and taste like fluffy butter with a hint of salt. The yellowfin crudo was excellent and enough to share with 3 people. I got the Shrimp and it was amazing. That Polenta was top tier, along with the sauce. It had a touch of heat, which was nice. I would advise to stay away from “Corn Flake dessert”, it would have been great if there was a crunch factor but with the milk in it, it just made it super soggy. The Hazelnut bar was PERFECT. I would come back for that. We shared that among 3 of us. Now would I come back here? I would but not anytime soon but would come back in a few months.

    This place is definitely waaaay over priced for what it is. As someone who frequents fine dining often this place was definitely very mediocre. The food was just ok but the price was specialty pricing. I don’t mind paying 500 for 2 people IF the service and food is amazing. But unfortunately we were met with attitude right when we walked in the door. We were being SCOLDED for being 5 MINUTES EARLY. I’ve never minded going to the bar for a drink before my table but to be told that we’re too early and it messes up the system is crazy!! The restaurant is beautiful but I’d probably only come back here to sit at the bar for drinks and not food

    Great service, delicious and unique cocktails. Really lovely space, especially all the plants. Great vibe. Many of the patrons were extremely friendly. Staff was wonderful. Food was mostly great. Some items a bit too ambitious. Hazelnut bar was fantastic.

    My party of 8, was extremely disappointed in the food, the set menu, and the service. For $200 a head, you would think your are getting quality food. The short rib was hard and chewy. The lobster was dry and chewy. The dessert was tiny and disappointing. The salad/appetizers was one tiny piece of persimmon. Our reservation was at 9:30pm and didn’t get sat till 45 mins later. The whole night we only were able to order two drinks because the service was so slow. We got butter knives to cut are hard dry meat. I’ll never go here again and beyond embarrassed that I took my 7 friends here for NYE.
