Top class service from entering the restaurant to the service at the table, really friendly people that clearly enjoy working here. Food was very good and sourced from across Scotland. The portion sizes are large and we were absolutely stuffed after 3 courses. At first felt the prices were on the high side, however, on reflection and given the quality and the size of portions, the price was certainly justified. Highly recommend giving this place a go for some quality Scottish cuisine.

We have eaten here before and it was fab. This visit my husbands food was fab - my scallops were tiny ( and only 3 even though they were very small) and very over cooked and my chicken was dry and over cooked which was a great shame. All still tasted good. Asked for a Gaelic coffee which caused confusion until I explained what I wanted but it was not correctly made. They were very busy and the staff were lovely but drinks took an age to come and the whole experience was not as I would expect.

Had a lovely meal in Ardamuchan a few months ago but on return it didn’t quite meet the same standard / expectation. The food was tasty but not as hot as it could have been and whilst service was attentive felt we were be managed so out on time to give next set of diners the table… was rushed and not enough time for a dessert. We left saying that we wouldn’t be back for a while

bar service was terrible, staff more interested in standing talking to their friends than serving a very busy bar area. Cant fault the table service though that was excellent, we were well looked after by the attentive waitress

Starter: Goat's cheese with crostini. This dish lacked the crostini and the promised walnuts, small piece of cheese atop a soggy piece of bread.....I think. 2/5 Main: Venison stew. After a poor starter, this dish was top class. Melt in your mouth venison with mushrooms and potatoes. There was a warmth to the dish, but not spicy, more peppery, ideal on a cold night. 5/5 Dessert Sticky toffee pudding. Another top class dish. 5/5 Staff: The staff were friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The pace of service was very good. Weren't kept waiting for any of our dishes. Overall my wife and I really enjoyed our visit, and would return again, even if it was just to see if they could do the goat's cheese starter better.

Although the meal in itself was fine I do have a few points to make. I was asked online if this meal was a celebration and indicated it was my birthday but this wasn't mentioned at any point. It would have been nice if this was acknowledged. The scallops starter only had 2 scallops- which seems a little mean. The rest of the meal was fine. The service throughout was slow. After 10 minutes one of us went to find a waitress. We ordered another drink after dessert and again this took a long time coming. We were then asked to vacate our table but if the service had been more prompt we would have finished well within the allotted time. The meal itself was very pleasant .

We booked lunch here primarily because it was near to the theatre. But what an absolute delight! Usually the choice on a lunchtime 2 course special menu can be limited but, in this case the choice and the food was outstanding.

Excellent all round. Fantastic friendly knowledgeable server. Great ambiance and well placed divider giving each table privacy. Service was efficient smooth and quick. Food was hot, tasty and sufficient. We are not local to the restaurant but if we are ever in Glasgow again we would definitely return. Great evening

We loved this restaurant! From the innovative cocktails through to dessert everything was superb - delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance and attentive service enhanced the overall dining experience. Our only regret was that we went there on our last night in Glasgow so we only got to eat there once! As two self-proclaimed foodies, we can highly recommend this restaurant!
