Arden is an idyllic retreat tucked into Portland's Pearl District. Arden delivers seasonal Pacific Northwest cuisine and an award-winning wine program featuring over 250 bottles, many with bottle age. Guests have the option to dine a la carte or enjoy the chef's prix fixe menu ($70): a shared experience that features 4 courses of seasonal cuisine. Coursed wine pairings are also available ($45).

Arden is named in homage to Shakespeare's famous forest - a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and appreciate nature's bounty and beauty. The restaurant invites you to take an exiting culinary adventure through the Pacific Northwest, and explore the incredible range of ingredients that the region has to offer.

We'll take you on a tour of our seasonal pacific northwest themed menu where you and your guests will share 9 of our most popular dishes. Wine pairings are optional and an additional $45 per person. Please contact us directly with any dietary restrictions or food allergies. At this time we are unable to accommodate any vegan or vegetarian diets on our prix fixe experience. Thank you for understanding! Please note: We will happily split payment between up to 3 credit cards but kindly refuse to split checks for large parties. We allot 2.5 hours for large parties due to limited seating, thank you for your understanding!

The prix fixe menu for a group was creative and delicious and a great experience. They were very accommodating with a food allergy. There was minor inflexibility on one diner’s order of a cocktail that was not on cocktail menu. But in the end , they accommodated the diner and the drink was delicious.

Arden served incredible food with a complimentary wine list. The staff was wonderful and explained the dishes well. Each dish was layered with flavor and texture reminiscent of a fusion of foods from France, Italy, and Portugal. I had the chef’s prix fixe menu for one, while ambitious, is quite doable if you come hungry. This spot is not to be missed while in Portland.

One of my favorite restaurants in Portland. The trout dish is absolutely incredible and my favorite trout at any restaurant ever! I also enjoyed their celebration of Oregon Wine Month with specialty wines from various vineyards in Oregon (Patricia Green this week :) ).

Arden is such a gem. We went on a Thursday night and it was good to see the restaurant packed. We enjoyed a cocktail and an appetizer before ordering, which was nice as my wife and I hate to be rushed while enjoying our cocktails. We enjoyed a first course of fois gras, which we almost always order when coming to Arden. My wife had the trout for an entree, and I had the Milanese-style pork chop, both of which were exquisite. We were really too full to order dessert, but ordered a scoop of ice cream anyway. The server brought us two orders, which was very generous. All told it was a fantastic dinner. My only complaint is that the restaurant can be a bit noisy when full, as it's a relatively small space. It's not unbearable but if you are noise sensitive perhaps consider coming early before the tables fill up. There is the "Covid" outside seating space, but I'm not sure they're still using that

Outstanding choice for fine dining - French style. We had the four-course prix fixe meal with the pairing. While a bit costly, the pairings were great and the selections chosen by the chef and sommelier were excellent.

The food was amazing and the service was probably the best we've ever had. We did the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing and every course was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The servers explained every dish in detail. The spaghetti with morels was worth the trip on it's own.

The food is absolutely amazing.....if you go, try the Chef's menu. You will so full! and your mouth will be very happy. We didn't have ANYTHING we didn't just love and this is from four foodies who absolutely love great food. You will be astounded and very happy with your choice.
