The manager always goes out of her way to make sure we are happy. Love Her! Food is really good, but miss the burgers and some of the old choices. :( Also if you guys could put the house wine carafe back on for weekend nights that would be great. We drink a lot of wine. hahahahaha We do luv your restaurant and have been patrons for a long time. The shrimp dish is amazing as well! Thanks for the great service. See u soon!

Almost all the food was INCREDIBLE! Brussels sprouts, corn bread, dirty fries all exceptional. The chicken however was inedible...so tough and rubbery. I asked what the fish of the day was, and the waitress went back to ask the chef. It’s an open kitchen concept...so I was able to see the chef rudely tell her he didn’t know and clearly didn’t care. Even when she mentioned it was for a customer. That was ridiculous

We needed a restaurant that would be open on a Sunday night (often a problem) and discovered Arcwood on Open Table and it looked interesting. Turns out our dinner companions knew about it because one or two of he adult kids really like it. The only downside is that we sat on a patio right on Ventura Boulevard (near Yolanda) and there was a lot of street noise - which can't be helped if you want to sit outside. Had we eaten inside at one of the few tables there, I don't think we would have had a lot of noise. The menu had a lot of great sounding dishes - for the four of us we ordered 6 of the choices and liked everything we ordered! Though they are "small plates" mostly, the portions of most of the small plates were quite large We ordered 2 of the salads, 2 of the bread dishes, sauteed mushrooms, and a browmie and praline sundae. The cost was very reasonable and we'd definitely go back again.

We were a group of six and dined outside. Highly recommend the cornbread, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and shrimp and grits. The chef came out to say hi which was a very nice touch. Would definitely go back again!

Arcwood has become my "go to" spot for any kind of celebration or gathering with friends. The menu and wine list is incredibly varied and everything my guests and I try is better than the last bite. Just insanely good food and ambience for a great price.

The server was very nice and attentive. The place is beautiful. They took out the small plates that they used to have on the menu. I should have checked the menu before I went. No charcuterie plates in a wine bar? Regular restaurant dishes with limited menu. Salad was very fresh and nice. Mushroom was bland and needed salt. The beef sliders were good but really like a pulled pork sliders. The scallops dish that my friend ordered was not fresh and she had to return it. Disappointing food experience. This used to be my favorite wine bar in the area but no longer.

Great! A little rocky start with a limited selection of cold wine, but the food was amazing. We left happy and satisfied with the food selections and good wine.

The food and service were absolutely excellent. We were extremely surprised to find out that although it said it was a wine bar the food was fantastic. The menu is extremely varied with items that you probably would never see anywhere else. The place is quite small so make sure you make reservations. I highly suggest getting the sliders because they were the best we've ever had. I highly recommend trying this place. You will not regret it.

they've got their flavors down. their service is super friendly, and their wines are good. They were out of one of our favorites, but they pulled through with a couple of strong substitutes which were new faves. try the sliders, the cornbread and the shrimp skewer molé. super flavorful. yep. as soon as they get that Tooth N Nail wine back in, this is a full 5 stars all around. right on the blvd, with easy access, this is a place we'll return to.

Our party of 6 had a lovely time on the patio. Other diners were friendly and the food was amazing.

We were surprised at the small inventory of wine at a Winebar and the lack of flights fro tasting. Not sure why it’s called a wine bar. Several wines we selected were out of stock. If it’s on the menu it should be available if extra wine is ordered for the weekend it will keep if it's not consumed the same day- I found this confusing.

We will definitely go again. Perhaps it was an off day.

I'm a huge fan of Arcwood. Their menu rotates seasonally, but I haven't had anything I didn't love. Their wine menu is fantastic. Overall just a wonderful experience every time I go.

Arcwood is the perfect place for a date or a girls night out! Happy hour is a super deal. Although, the regular menu is a pretty penny- the food quality and presentation is worth it! The ladies that own this establishment are super kind, and knowledgeable. I would absolutely come back with friends.

I wanted to like Arcwood more than I did. The place is lovely and the staff was pleasant. We only ordered a couple of dishes but the food, especially the salad, was over-priced for what it was. My friend and I both agreed we won't go out of our way to return.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Best restaurant in Tarzana (and one of the only good ones). The wine is great but the FOOD is even better! I don't think enough people order/know about how great the food is. Their new summer menu is amazing -- watermelon salad was to die for, and the cornbread was delicious. Great neighborhood location and feel. Super thankful it's here!

There was a really large group that was extra loud on the patio while we were there and the patio echoed so it made it even louder. But despite the noise we had an amazing time. The food was good (expensive but good) and the wine was delicious. They were very accommodating and helpful as well. My friend spilled her wine and they brought her out a new glass, which we thought was extra accommodating.

Everything tasted great and the ambience was perfect. The only thing that will sway me from coming back was the fact that our server forgot to add our wine to the happy hour price while we were there at happy hour. So we told her, and she willingly changed it. But then she messed up again by only adding one of our wines to the happy hour price. So to avoid the hassle of reminding a server about their happy hour menu, I’ll look up other wine bars to go to. The cornbread was delectable, though.

I tried calling Arcwood Wine Bar several times because my first visit. The phone would go straight to voice mail without any information on the phone number like This is Arcwood Wine Bar but rather "Leave a message". When I arrived the server mention she has mentioned to the owner to change the message but no changes yet. Open Table showed on my reservation is was a soft opening. I found out the restaurant had been opened for one year. We had many small plates the meatballs below average, cheese and fig plate good but not enough crackers, salad was good, Brussels sprouts were below average. The service was average and kept looking for our server. For the cost and experience I would recommend finding another place to dine.

Your neighborhood gem! Quaint, quiet and excellent food! The burger was amazing! We had the fig and goat cheese toast and chopped salad. Portions were generous, as my husband and I split all of the dishes. Very nice place to go for date night or to meet friends for dinner.

Second time in 2 weeks! The food is beyond good. This time we had the brussel sprouts which were ridiculous (in a good way!), the gnocci (also amazing), and the hamburger which is out of this world. The only complaint this time was that the 3 dishes we ordered all came out at the same time. Next time, we'll order one, wait, then order something else, etc. The service was good, but one of the servers was so busy, we didn't feel like she gave us the attention that we got the last time we were there. BUT, we're going back and eating more of the yummy food! Definitely a great place!
