Very difficult to give it a fair review, because our server had way too many tables for him to handle. Constantly had empty drinks, would se server for 20-30 minutes at a time. Had to order food and ask for the check at the same time because we had been waiting so long to order anything.
Smokey the Bear was sweet and smoky. Will be back again.

Best place in Chicago for those who enjoy crafty cocktails and great house music
I’ve been here three times. Twice before COVID and once during the pandemic. The cocktails and food are always delicious. Yesterday I had friends in town who were enjoying their time and I really appreciated the server accommodating us and our enjoyment. I definitely will continue to come back. My favorite cocktails there are always their takes on various old fashions.

Didn't eat there, so can't comment on food although the couple next to us were not pleased with their appetizers. Great cocktails, but way too much attitude from the waitstaff. would not recommend

We stopped into Arbella for a casual business dinner, since we all wanted something lighter (after a late lunch). Everything we ordered was delicious (cocktails + food), particularly the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). The sauce on the chicken was incredible, and we could've ordered 2 more orders...
Try the KFC, it is awesome. And it’s not from Kentucky!!

Went during restaurant week. The menu was essentially the same items on the appetizer listing and happy hour menu. The food was good, I enjoyed the salad and the empanada, with the exception of the dessert which was a substitution of a pretty basic cheesecake for what sounded like a more exotic choice.
Was seated in the back room where I noticed a band starting to set up. My original seat would have been right next to the musicians and conversation would have been impossible. Fortunately, after I inquired a seat farther from the music was located. The band was a pleasant reggae group. The hostess should have known the location was not going to work and should have let us know about the music before seating us.
Our waitress a good job of taking our order and tending to the table during the meal.
Seems like a nice spot for drinks and appetizers and the restaurant was busy for a weeknight. I do like the live music (though I’d prefer not to sit in with the band). I don’t know that I would return for a meal though.
There was no one to greet us or place for us to check in for our reservation. I had to flag down a server to check-in. Once seated our server clearly forgot to put in our food order. When we asked 35 minutes later she said she put in the order but it was evident she forgot. Overall the atmosphere and ambiance was great but service was poor. Hoping it was just an off night.
Dark and loud with great decor. Table wasn’t quite ready when we got there but it was easy to get a drink and our table was ready by the time we got our drinks. Server was whining a lot about something, couldn’t really hear. She seemed to be too busy for us - had to ask for water, plates to be cleared, etc. Food was excellent although pricey. Wine was reasonable, drinks good but small and expensive. By the time we finished- about 9 - the place was packed.
The music and ambiance was great. We ordered the rolls as an appetizer and did the restaurant week menu. The stuffed peppers were warm but not hot. But everything else was delicious and amazing.
Way overpriced, KFC chicken was nothing more than fried chicken with a salty runny soy sauce to dip it in. Empanandas were the best the on the menu. Sliders were good.
We really appreciated being moved to the private upstairs booth for my birthday celebration!
I forget the name of the guy who offered to move us upstairs (maybe a manager? his name could have been josh? longer hair) and our server (short bob haircut, very cute, fellow Aquarius) - went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was perfect :-)
It was a bit hard to see our food up there but some extra candles helped. All in all amazing experience.

Happy Hour was a bit expensive and the bartender was not the most friendly. Place is super cool though and love the atmosphere!
Food was too salty. Small dining space, live band started at 7:30pm therefore too loud to hear one another.
