guajillo pork belly, mango-habanero salsa, corn tortilla shell, (x3)
Not F**king Around. Beef patty, pan-seared provolone, barnaise, crispy shallots, lettuce, tomato, fries
shrimp & pork egg rolls, sweet chili sauce, shredded vegetables
Fantastic experience! Can’t wait to visit again—I will be back soon!
Didn't eat there, so can't comment on food although the couple next to us were not pleased with their appetizers. Great cocktails, but way too much attitude from the waitstaff. would not recommend
Really great place to go out on a date. Excellent customer service and food and drinks was better than expected.
Great service, fun lively atmosphere, lot of great drinks to choose from and food was really good. Well run. We will definitely go back often.
Very fun! Drinks were very cool! And food was DELISH
Great intimate night out. Food is always on point and great for people who like sharing plates. This tapas style restaurant never disappoints and even has live music. GREAT happy hour!!
We stopped into Arbella for a casual business dinner, since we all wanted something lighter (after a late lunch). Everything we ordered was delicious (cocktails + food), particularly the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken). The sauce on the chicken was incredible, and we could've ordered 2 more orders...
Try the KFC, it is awesome. And it’s not from Kentucky!!
Excellently weird but very tasty and approachable cocktails. Food was great and perfectly portioned
Went during restaurant week. The menu was essentially the same items on the appetizer listing and happy hour menu. The food was good, I enjoyed the salad and the empanada, with the exception of the dessert which was a substitution of a pretty basic cheesecake for what sounded like a more exotic choice.
Was seated in the back room where I noticed a band starting to set up. My original seat would have been right next to the musicians and conversation would have been impossible. Fortunately, after I inquired a seat farther from the music was located. The band was a pleasant reggae group. The hostess should have known the location was not going to work and should have let us know about the music before seating us.
Our waitress a good job of taking our order and tending to the table during the meal.
Seems like a nice spot for drinks and appetizers and the restaurant was busy for a weeknight. I do like the live music (though I’d prefer not to sit in with the band). I don’t know that I would return for a meal though.
There was no one to greet us or place for us to check in for our reservation. I had to flag down a server to check-in. Once seated our server clearly forgot to put in our food order. When we asked 35 minutes later she said she put in the order but it was evident she forgot. Overall the atmosphere and ambiance was great but service was poor. Hoping it was just an off night.
The music and ambiance was great. We ordered the rolls as an appetizer and did the restaurant week menu. The stuffed peppers were warm but not hot. But everything else was delicious and amazing.
Dark and loud with great decor. Table wasn’t quite ready when we got there but it was easy to get a drink and our table was ready by the time we got our drinks. Server was whining a lot about something, couldn’t really hear. She seemed to be too busy for us - had to ask for water, plates to be cleared, etc. Food was excellent although pricey. Wine was reasonable, drinks good but small and expensive. By the time we finished- about 9 - the place was packed.
Way overpriced, KFC chicken was nothing more than fried chicken with a salty runny soy sauce to dip it in. Empanandas were the best the on the menu. Sliders were good.
We really appreciated being moved to the private upstairs booth for my birthday celebration!
I forget the name of the guy who offered to move us upstairs (maybe a manager? his name could have been josh? longer hair) and our server (short bob haircut, very cute, fellow Aquarius) - went above and beyond to make sure our dinner was perfect :-)
It was a bit hard to see our food up there but some extra candles helped. All in all amazing experience.
Happy Hour was a bit expensive and the bartender was not the most friendly. Place is super cool though and love the atmosphere!
Food was too salty. Small dining space, live band started at 7:30pm therefore too loud to hear one another.
Chicago Restaurant Week 2020
Very good food here, great suggestions from staff.. worth it
Amazing Happy Hour ! One of the best I’ve been to in awhile not to mention HH runs till 7p .
Great service and drinks. Atmosphere was perfect. Thank you!
One of the best places for cocktails in the city. The food is hit or miss - some items are outstanding while others miss the mark.
Amazing playlist. Cocktails are legit. The cucumber one is my all time favorite.
Arbella didn’t honor the reservations made via Opentable
Perfect spot for a date night. Diane served us and Paige was our server and both were over the moon wonderful. My drink the trankilo Melon was served with burning sage and so so good! The atmosphere is so intimate and unique. Can't wait to get back!
Arabella was a fantastic experience. Ideal for small parties or a date night. Drinks were impressive and the food was very good.
Recommend a booth for two. You will impress your date.
After reading so many reviews from reputable sources, including Chicago Magazine and Chicago Reader, I was hoping for a phenomenal experience; however, Arbella fell short on the promise of a great lounge in Chicago. First, I was not impressed with the layout. It was actually quite small. Too much squeezed into a tight space. What bothered me most about our visit was where we were seated. My boyfriend and I were not given preferential seating even though there were so many other two tops available with the booth option. The reason I originally made a reservation at Arbella was in hopes to have a romantic lounge experience with my boyfriend. We sat at a hightop randomly that you would find at an upscale pub. Our drinks were nice, but nothing that screamed 'Let's come back.' Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for a date night out, more for coming with a few friends.
Our server was awesome. Their were multiple people paying attention to our table, rare and super awesome. Thank you for the great service, food, drinks and atmosphere. Nice to have a lengthy happy hour and reservations since most dont get out of work until 5 in the city.
Excellent tapas and creative cocktails! Loved the intimate feel of the restaurant in a hip location!
Wonderful service and amazing drink and food choices
Such a great cocktail bar, awesome intimate environment to get drinks with someone.
The waiters here are always great and super friendly.
Love , very intimate and great service
This little hidden gem is my new after work go-to spot!!!
Wouldn’t recommend the food here. Very salty. Great drinks and vibe though!
Had a vegetarian date so we had the hummus and a flatbread goat cheese tray, both were great. Would have loved to try the carnivorous entrees. Also had their Pineapple Plantation Old fashioned was nice as well.
The DJ music on Friday night was louder than it needed to be. This is a bar/lounge, not a club. Otherwise the drinks and service were fine.
