This place is loud, but the food is really good. We had the spinach pasta and it was really fantastic. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. The place was lively and fun. The wine was reasonably priced and good.
The food and service were very good. The crowd was young, hip and energetic so it was very loud, which made it difficult to hear what my date was saying.
The food is great and service was also great. The pizza was very unique it that it’s dough was very light and airy while being a new take on neopolitan mixed with the style of home cooking!!! Getting a seat however during this experience was a chore. We were moved a few different times. I had a reservation and was early in the evening. I’d like to sit in a prime spot in an uncomfortable spot that was cold on a patio (rainy winter day). So we moved once based on the next suggestion and finally compromising again in a spot right next to the patio door feeling like we were in the walkway when there were plenty of tables next to us. We would appreciate a host getting this right... at least the second time. I would totally go again cause the food is fantastic.
Went here for a birthday dinner. The food was delish and service was fast.
wine pours are small. they don't seem standard pours.
Food was ok...I don't think I'd go back as I wasn't impressed. To me it was basic Italian food. Two of us has orcchiette pasta, even though the menu said the pasta was housemade it definitely didn't taste like it. The Indian restaurant that used to be here was much better. But they did have half off wine bottles on Tuesday so that's nice
We typically love Italian but this place fell a little short of expectations. We ordered the chicken parm and the tagliatelle. The parm was a 2/5 - the meat itself was cooked well but the breading was a little odd and there was SO much cheese (a little too much and we love cheese). The tagliatelle 4/5 - the pasta was fresh and meat sauce was well done; nothing special about it though. Overall, I cant give a 4 or 5 here but 3 is reasonable.
Our only problem was that Open Table was not informed that we arrived for our reservation on time.
We had a nice, calm New Years dinner. Food was good especially the bread.
AR Cucina is an outstanding Italian restaurant, serving healthful, delicious fare.
The New Years specials were excellent.
Great Dinner - friendly efficient service. Bronzino was delicious.
We have been here before and loved it. Christmas eve and the special fish items were incredibly mediocre. Will not return.
The food at AR Cucina is truly amazing - the best in every course. The service was friendly and efficient.
And the ambiance is cozy and comfortable. Our family loves this place.
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Food was great - flavors really great. Not huge portions so you can easily get appetizers and dessert and enjoy all. Great drinks. Great atmosphere. Not huge inside which is nice. Would definitely go back.
Great food and great service. All 5 of us loved our meals. My only critique would be the chairs were like plastic patio chairs and weren’t very comfortable. Overall great experience!
We got there for dinner for our friend’s birthday at 6:00 and told the wait person we had to get to the theater nearby before 8, so we knew we had more than enough time. However we could never find authentic wait person to order, to ask for something when there was a problem, for desserts menus, etc . Although the food is good two of the four of us had pasta so al dente we both had to send it back to be cooked further. Again we couldn’t find the server. By the time we had dessert it was 7:45, so we had to have her bring the check at the same time. For these reasons, with so much good Italian in LA, don’t think we’ll be returning.
Our waiter seemed bothered by us, but the happy hour was yummy and the restaurant was beautiful.
Food was terrific. Service was lacking. We were a group of 9 and the rest of the restaurant was fairly empty. Drink orders were only taken if you specifically flagged down the wait staff. Food came out so slowly that the first people’s food was cold before the last person was served.
We took our daughter here for her 13th birthday and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and good and friendly service!
We went on a Thursday night @ 7PM for dinner with older couple - While the food and service was great, the noise level was unacceptable and we may not return -
Food and service were great.
Delicious Pizza, fresh organic veggies, full bar and easy to park Culver City Location. What's NOT to LIKE? this is the sister restaurant to Akasha. High quality, innovative recipes with the focus on "organic", "free range" and "grass fed".
Their homemade pastas are delicious and never let you down. Good wine list. The inside seating can be noisy even when the restaurant is fairly slow. The outdoor seating area is quiet and quaint.
It seems like the chef took Sunday brunch off. The salmon toast was a mess - over friseed and under buratta-ed. My entrée was OK. A key ingredient was left of my companions sandwich and when staff brought it to the table (after she asked that it was heated) cold. I honestly think he was the only person working there. Maybe it needs to re-think itself. Won't be back.
I have been to this restaurant several times and have found the quality of the food to have gone downhill. It’s fine but not as good as the first time I went. I ordered the spaghetti con cacio e pepe which is what I usually order and it was so salty I almost sent it back. Too heavy and too much butter and cheese. I remember the first time I had it to be much lighter and more delicate and perfectly seasoned. I was very disappointed with it this last time. The other items were good but not memorable. The service is great and everyone was very friendly and professional but I probably won’t go back.
Been there a couple of times and the offd is creative and high quality.Service is usually good and parking is easy to find.
Food was fine but service was an afterthought. The strangest thing is that for a restaurant in LA to offer just one single type of beer was downright bizarre, and the reason was that they had run out. Fish was served raw and had to get sent back, and lasagna was uninspiring and barely an 1/4 inch high...
A very nice looking restaurant but our Thanksgiving dinner was terrible. It was also extremely overpriced for such poorly prepared cold food!
Portions were small, blah tasting and much overpriced. Unaccommodating in service. Had to ask for refills on water a lot. Overall, negative experience.
9 of us were there for Thanksgiving dinner. A very nice menu and the food was very good, which makes me think that the daily menu & quality have to be at least just as good.
The service was excellent The focaccia bread was the best I’ve ever had The branzino entree was very good We were there for Thanksgiving the turkey was dry and cold the mash potatoes and dressing were flavorless and cold Desert was OK
Don’t think I’ll be back
We had a lovely evening together. We shared 4 courses and they were all well-prepared, fresh, and creative.
Everything was great. Service could have been more attentive. And steak served rare when asked for medium.
3 guys met our wives who were coming back from a 4-day spa/health retreat. Food and drinks were good tasting but the food seemed overly heavy, covered in rich sauces, and later just sat in our stomachs. Maybe we just ordered wrong, or , especially for the women, it wasn't the clean light mostly vegetarian food they'd been eating. I don't think I'll go back.
The only thing is that it took a while until someone reached out to us after sitting down.
Homemade pasta that tasted great! Very friendly, and helpful server. We would definitely go back!
Our lunch was enjoyable enough, but rarely have I ever experienced such horrible service.
