Website deceiving not current menu called 6 times no answer customers inside waiting for food over an hour. Had drinks, no cold glass for beer margaritina not what it should be . Left as atmosphere not good and not what was protrrad on site. Sorry but not worth the time or trip!!!!
Fun, slightly upscale setting in “Downtown Abacoa,” within walking distance of the ballpark and hotel but far enough removed to lose the baseball rowdies.
Great food, service and setting. Highly recommend
Food a great presentation and cooked perfectly and everything was delicious with very attentive service
Galentine’s dinner gone wrong. Horrible service, we had a reservation for 7:30 but they didn’t have a table ready for us until 8. Then had to wait 10-15 minutes for the waitress to show up. From then on it was a rollercoaster of bad experiences. We ordered our food and it took over an hour just to get the appetizers, throughout the entire time our waitress had no empathy and was not apologetic as to why our food was taking forever she just simply said your food will be a while and walked off. We finally received from service recovery from her colleague but she still repeatedly returned to our table and made us all extremely uncomfortable and tried to act like we were acting crazy for wanting our food in a timely manner. I cannot stress enough how uncomfortable and awkward she made us feel when she tried to confront us or speak to us. She should have left us alone and let her very nice colleague take care of us. When we finally got our food we were all underwhelmed by the quality for the price we were paying. We ended up leaving close to 10 pm. Will not be returning.
The restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. We loved the lighting, the ambiance, and the music. Our server was very nice and attentive. We had the mac and cheese balls and the classic meatball for an appetizer. The mac and cheese ball was good. The classic meatball tasted like processed, overly ground/smashed beef... the texture reminded me almost of a pate instead of ground beef. The ricotta cheese served on top of it tasted like it came from publix. For entrees we had the spaghetti squash dish and the burrata rigatoni. Both were just "meh". I would come back for happy hour cocktails and the mac n cheese balls, but not more than that.
Food was amazing!!! Staff was very polite but the waitress was extremely slow in getting the bill and payment.
The food was really good and our server was nice and helpful. However, my girlfriend and I agreed that it was too loud in the restaurant and the music didn’t match the physical atmosphere of the restaurant. Luckily for us, the food and service was good enough to put us back in a cheerful mood. Good place overall!
It was ok. Menu a bit weird but unique. Hamburger was overdone-food came out too quickly & waited a very very long time for our check. Too many fried things on menu & drink prices crazy high ($15 a pop). Probably won’t rush back. Another fair over priced meal in season !
Food was delicious ...ambiance was clean fresh and delightful.
Had a noisy group at bar that detracted a little from our enjoyment.
After they left it was great!
We have enjoyed our meals at Aquazure. The food is excellent. Although they seemed to be short staffed, they made every effort to provide excellent service. Our server was backed up, however, other servers and the owner checked on us to see if we needed anything. The restaurant was loud but it has a nice vibe.
Delicious, beautifully plated food, with wonderful service and live jazz music, but not much interior atmosphere. 7pm Friday night reservation, not easy to find parking, free garage completely full. Eventually find a spot, with short walk to restaurant. Warm greeting upon arrival, 1 table occupied, light jazz musician playing at the bar. Plain table's, non descript atmosphere. Waiter is extremely attentive. Mushroom ball appetizer very good, but with a small mushroom. The WHITE SALAD with Endive, Shaved Fennel, Crisp Apple, Gorgonzola, Toasted Walnut and White Balsamic Vinaigrette was very good and plentiful. The Yellow tail snapper was pan seared, cooked perfectly, and served hot. Chicken Milanese also hot moist and delicious. Great food, wonderful service. 5 stars for the food, 1 for the drab vinyl bench seats in this restaurant.
Our general impression was that the atmospheric here was bland. It took way to long from order to table delivery, ( about 75 minutes). This was unusual as the restaurant was almost empty. One of our guests had to send her meal back as it was too salty. The remainder enjoyed the meal and thought the food was very tasty. The price point for the menu items was too high for the location and the lack of ambience.
Dined here on a Thursday evening around 7pm, in town from Chicago with our 4 kids (they are kinda foodies). As a family, we prefer independent restaurants over chains (though had originally planned to go to Capital Grille before finding this place on OpenTable, which indicated good reviews.
When we arrived, there was maybe one other party inside the restaurant. We asked to sit outside and were one of 2 parties dining outside. (By the time we left, there were 4 total parties outside - not sure about inside).
The menu looked very appealing and the presentation of the food was nice. We had Burrata Salad, Watermelon Tabouleh Salad, Mac N Cheese Balls, Mushroom Balls, the soup of the day (carrot curry - good but not spectacular), mushroom risotto, a house burger, the kids Meatball and rigatoni, and the special (sea bass served on a bed of bok choy and capellini).
All of it was good enough, but some items were just a little off. Burrata had an unusual texture - not as pillowy and fluid as we are used to. Watermelon Tabouleh salad was on the salty side (with a strong flavor of Kalamata olives), mushroom balls were very rich, risotto was a bit creamier than I prefer, and the sea bass was fishy. We actually couldn’t eat the fish and felt bad, but sent it back.
The owner was surprised by our feedback about the fish and commented that she had just eaten some that evening. However, she handled it graciously and removed it from the bill.
All in all, decent place but for us, it’s one and done.
There’s potential, but it’s not realized yet. The wine list is sorely lacking in decent wines… The menu is not very inspiring… The space has potential, but feels a little cold… The service was very good.
We ate an early New Year's Eve dinner from a fixed price menu. The service was very good. We all had seal bass that we enjoyed, and particularly liked the pasta the sea bass was in.
Excellent food. I had the Yellowtail Snapper. Great!
Food and bartender service were wonderful! Overall great place but need to bring more people into the restaurant .
Love too see this place succeed because the decor and food are excellent!
Good good and service. Friendly environment. I only wish more people were there as it changes the ambience. I will definitely go back and recommend it To others
Food was good. Poor wine selection and a very long time to get wine served. Servers were poorly trained and wanted to serve our entrees before clearing table. They left dirty dishes to pile up on adjacent table. Ordered a shrimp entree which I sent back as shrimp tasted off. Managers were in the room but never came by to ask about our experience. I predict that they will fail in one year.
The food was exceptional—there were things on the menu that I would go back to try. The small plates were actually sufficient for a meal.
The food was good and the service was excellent, however, on this Thursday the place was almost empty, 3 customers. This is a new restaurant so it may take some time. The only thing we didn't like was that the tap water is not filtered and has a side taste. A bottle of water was $7.
Food was delicious creative flavors and presentations. Server was friendly and helpful when we got her attention and asked but she seemed preoccupied with communicating things to us other than what was appropriate about her work.
6 friends shared a delicious variety of small plates, and we enjoyed every one of them. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Good is amazing
The menu is interesting, with many choices. Great new addition to the neighborhood!
The food was delicious. The server was knowledgeable. The chef was accommodating to special dietary needs. Would recommend and would definitely go again.
The food at AquaZure is delicious! Our server Hugo was outstanding. The lighting was a bit of a challenge as it kept vacillating?? We will definately go back.
We went for a celebration. The guest has multiple food allergies. The waiter made sure he checked with the chef on each allergy. I normally see a chef come out and check personally with the guest but the waiter did an excellent job. He was always available but not hovering. We read the reviews and saw it was loud inside and therefore ate outside. It was a beautiful nite. We had delicious food- Italian meatballs, steak, mushroom risotto. We all had food that was aesthetically pleasing as well as delicious. Fair wine list. Overall enjoyed the evening. Will definitely return.
I would recommend your restaurant although I would caution that it’s very loud and although the place was not at all crowded the service was pleasant but very, very slow.
Hope this place survives in Abacoa, never very hospitable to restaurants. Nice decor and excellent food, but distressingly quiet for a Saturday night. The snapper main course was excellent.
The food is outstanding, will come back again and again! I really hope they are succesful!
Creative menu and food was delicious. Will go back for sure
The restaurant is beautiful, and the bar looks very inviting. The menu was very interesting and it was difficult to narrow down my selection, everything looked good. I ordered a fish dish, and it was presented with my request. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinners.
While not fantastic, they aim to please, but have not quite found their footing yet. Menu interesting but 1 salmon came out overly salty, which the chef agreed and sent over 2 bread puddings. Only problem is they charged for 1! Corrected after notified. Very loud, even when half empty. Most annoying thing... a bartender was wearing a backwards baseball cap on a Saturday evening. What’s that about? Would go back to see if they improve but only when in Abacoa.
Will not return until they fix the noise level...it was very high...poor design
Snapper was outstanding. Restaurant ambiance missing something. Needs something to take the cafeteria feel and loud echo away. Stools uncomfortable. May or may not go back.
Great addition to the area. Great cocktails and food!
Amazing food and excellent service.
Experienced Manhattan chef brought his creativity to Abacoa, Jupiter, FL. When visiting their website the food photos are exactly how they appear when presented at your table. Very interesting twists to traditional offerings i.e. Burrata appetizer on a bed of greens with a truffle honey vinaigette accompanied by Speck and charred asparagus. Got to have that appetizer again! Baja Taco was served at an adjacent table....Holy Cow! A "can't miss" place. The sound level is energetic and vibrant which my or may not suit everyone. However outside dining may be an option....when Southern Florida cools down.
