La carte des vins est beaucoup trop courte. Il y aurait lieu d’y ajouter de meilleurs vins de France, comme des Bordeaux, St-Émilion Grand Cru, même s’ils sont plus chers, ainsi que des Bourgogne blancs & rouges.
Service was great!
Excellent food, a great harbour view and good service but we were bothered by our server who looked almost exclusively at one of us and virtually ignored the other. Very disconcerting ! Possibly he wasn’t even aware he was doing it.
Just had a great brunch this past Sunday .. the food is always excellent and ours on Sunday was as expected delicious ! Our server Morgyn was awesome she was very personable and checked back on us often to see if we needed anything ! It was very good and relaxing and we were looking down at the outside patio and Morgyn was able to get us a table there for after brunch where Nick served just as great as in the restaurant . a very enjoyable day at Aquaterra !!!
Food was disappointing compared to previous visits. I did not enjoy my appetizer course, but the preparation was fine. I ordered the fish course from the menu and has to return it because it lacked any flavour whatsoever. The salmon was cooked nicely, but the accompaniments were flat and monotone in flavour. The server graciously replaced it with the fish feature which was quite good.
Best dinning experience and 1st dinning experience I’ve had in a year. Every Visitor to Kingston should experience Aqua Terra. The view alone is worth it.
Very nice. food and service were amazing. Covid protocols were strictly observed.
Awesome food. Highly recommend. Nice upscale dining. Great pick for pandemic as they use plexiglass dividers. Parking a bit hard to navigate through.
All the food we had was just phenomenal.
The 48 hours short ribs were fantastic, my wife had the fish of the day and she loved her plate.
I went with my boyfriend to celebrate our 5th year anniversary and it was a very good experience! The staff were very pleasant! 10/10!
As always, excellent meal. Once again, we had Andrew as our server, such a nice personality, always eager to please, ensuring everything is perfect. We had the charcuterie as an appetizer, which they have changed over time, and this one is definitely their best so far. My wife had the lamb, which was fabulous, and I had the salmon, which I really enjoyed. Kingston has many great restaurants, but Aqua Terra is the one we preferred the best.
Resto très bien. Nourriture aussi sauf le pain tellement trop salé.
everything was great that night. only thing i would suggest is the bread have a little less salt on it the top. we loved the experience.
It was mine and my fiancé’s anniversary and it was probably the best day of my life and aquaterra was a big part of that. Thank you.
Best food and dining experience I have ever had at a restaurant! The lamb is AMAZING and the servers are so accommodating. 11/10 experience!! We will be back ❤️
Great style at the restaurant, delicious food, and great service!!
I realize that during Covid things are a little different. I have frequented this restaurant for breakfast for years and feel it’s going downhill. Upon arrival, my partner and I observed the Covid directions, stood where indicated, filled out questionnaire and waited to be taken to our seats. Others who arrived while we sat eating, walked in , walked around looking at tables, no one greeted them and hovered around us while we were eating and while tables were set up for them instead of being asked to wait at kiosk until table set up. The coffee mug when my coffee was served was filthy, had to ask to have it changed. The food was delivered to the table, then had to ask for cutlery. Then had to ask for salt and pepper. Then the jam was not served for toast, had to ask for it. The pancake, ordered in addition to Traditional breakfast was served separate and was cold. It just seemed like it was very unorganized and at reduced numbers, this should not be an issue. The server was polite, but not the usual attentive service that we have enjoyed in the past.
Very nice dining experience in AquaTerra Kingston: the service, food and ambience were really good. It is expensive restaurant but I found portion size adequate and quality of food is excellent. They take COVID measures very seriously - I was impressed.

The waiter, Cam was a delightful soft spoken young man who was attentive just the right amount. The food was delicious and the view was of course fantastic. There was jazzy soft music playing. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Had a lunch menu. The steak was well cooked but was sinewy and there was a lot of fat. The frites were soggy. My wife had the tuna and enjoyed it.
The carpet needed a good vacuuming as there were bits and pieces of whatever all over the place. We usually enjoy dining here but this was, unfortunately, a disappointment. A one- off, hopefully as we will be back.
It was wonderful to get out for dinner at a nice restaurant following the lockdown. We were staying at the Delta so it was nice to come down the elevator and go right to dinner. The service was very good, that was the best part of the meal. My steak was great but not hot which I know is tricky as I ordered it rare. My wife’s soup, as part of the Kingstonlicious menu, and her main (and my “hot chocolate”). were also not hot so keeping things warm would be my only suggestion for the kitchen/ bar if they care to listen. However, given the times we are in ... it’s nice to just to be able to write a review. The flavours were wonderful and we had a wonderful night out. Just passing along the constructive criticism to be honest ... I realize they are likely getting their flow back after lockdown too and we didn’t mention during our meal. Too much hassle and ultimately not a big deal!
We come here for date nights now and again and it has now become one of our go to spots as the food , service and atmosphere are always 10/10
Best kept secret.... food was amazing best lamb ever had!
It was excellent!
The restaurant has made accommodations for COVID, but have done in a tasteful way, so that the lovely waterfront scenery was still visible. Staff were gracious and helpful in discussing menu options. I had a shrimp linguine dish with lobster bisque sauce for dinner - so flavourful. On another day, I ordered the steak frites for lunch and it was perfect prepared and the fries were definitely not packaged - well seasoned and well prepared.
Finally on my last day in Kingston, I treated myself to eggs benedict for breakfast and, they too were perfect.
Beautiful view across the water to Wolfe's Island. Great staff!
Everything was great, the food was sensational as was the service!
I was super disappointed as I had looked at the menu from home and chose what I was looking forward to. Unfortunately they have a limited menu which is NOT stated on their web site.
Great meal and beautiful view. We had the lamb and short rib roast and both were delicious. We'll be back.
An excellent venue for a Valentines Day dinner. Ideal for quiet conversation.
Amazing as always! Food is the best, the view is breath-taking and the service is excellent!
Lovely place for a Valentines dinner, food/service was great!
I will come write a review every single time we eat here, and I'm sure they will all be beyond positive!
We booked early for Valentine's Day dinner even before the restrictions were lifted because I would have been SUPER disappointed if we couldn't come here for dinner that night!
Everything was once again FABULOUS. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the drinks, the cleanliness.. I could go on! Book your meal here... you will never ever be disappointed.
We attended Aquaterra for brunch on Valentines Day. Seating was respectful of current KFLA guidelines and we felt comfortable with the arrangements. The food was tasty and the temperature was perfect. We look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Aquaterra.
Valentine’s Day - wonderful evening. Great food, wonderful service and felt very safe with all Covid protocols followed.
We’ve been going to this restaurant for years. The quality is just not the same as it used to be. The menu was much more limited this time.
Overall it was good. The pasta in the shrimp linguine was slightly undercooked and the shrimp was slightly over cooked. It wasn’t terrible though and the ambience and service more than made up for it. Maybe it was just a off day. The merlot was also great. My date’s tuna special was also soft and good.
Beautiful opportunity sit on the harbour while eating a good meal. We were sat on the other side of the restaurant which had a less ambiance and less music. I’m not sure if the music was loud or on the other side otherwise it was a very nice place and very tasty food.
Came back for a brunch a couple of days later and were seated as requested with an amazing harborfront view. Knockout, tasty place for brunch!
