Absolutely best seafood in Denver!
Gave us the bill without asking if we wanted dessert, which we did.
Thank you to who served us. She was wonderful unfortunately I do not remember her name. We went for my son's 2nd birthday. It was amazing. The food was good I know it was pretty pricey but was worth it.1
Quiet Sunday evening- perfect for a birthday dinner!
Our waitress was very nice and caring.
Maybe I should have done more research, but with the offerings on on the menu and the prices, I assumed this would not be the Wal-Mart crowd in their pajamas coming to dinner. My wife and I thought this would be a nice place to celebrate our anniversary and not the local Wal-Mart cafe.
The food and service were good, but the crowd and lack of civilized manners of the other patrons were a major turn off to ever returning to this restaurant again..... We had seating right next to the aquarium where the mermaids performed and had other patrons from other tables come and stand between our table and the show prohibiting us from viewing the performance. At no time did the staff ask these patrons to return to their seats. People were bumping into my wife and I trying to get "front row seats" to the performance and it felt as if we were at the local Wal-Mart with a celebrity appearance on black friday....... (you get the point) It was not the nice relaxing romantic dinner celebrating our anniversary that we had planned.
The food was okay, not great, for the price. Good place for kids.
The food was great, but good god our waitress was TERRIBLE! Came to our table 3 times, once to take out order, then to give us food, and last to give us a check. Give me a break?!? And would giving us a smile hurt? If we go back I really hope to get a different Waitress. If you hate your job find something else!
Great for a fun family meal, good for all ages. Not noisy. Wonderful service
Great lunch and atmosphere. Great place for kids.
Slow, poor service. It took 20 minutes to get a beer. The food was decent but over priced.
We definitely will not be returning, nor will we recommend this restaurant.
Quality meal at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere for children.
Great atmosphere, family friendly. Would be even more awesome if the mermaid show was more centralized to be viewed by all the guests. Our grandchildren had to leave our table in order to see the show and only got to see part of it. Would still recommend for food and atmosphere.
I have never been to the aquarium I've heard good things about their bar so I made reservations a couple of times and on both occasions I wasn't able to sit at the bar because they had a event going on the last one was a prom where they can't even drink alcohol so on both occasions I canceled my reservations because I got there early to sit at the bar
It was my wife's birthday and we planned for the mermaid show at 12:15. We got there around 11:00 am and rushed through the aquarium to make our reservations at 12:00. When we got to the hostess stand and my wife asked for the best seat for the show they informed us that for the month of April there would be no mermaid show on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday. there was no mention of this on their website. We are very disappointed that they could not announce this on their website. I took off work to be able to do this and we were left disappointed and nobody to talk to about it. there didn't seem to be a manager in the entire place.
My family loved the food. Their kids menu had options my children enjoy (typical kid choices) and my husband and I enjoyed some fabulous seafood! The server was friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was fun but not overwhelming. Dining by the aquarium was awesome! Thus was an excellent experience for my family.
The service could be quickly, we have to wait a lot of time for highchair and for waitress at the first moment.
It's all about the 'Denver Aquarium' experience. The fries were old, the burger was okay. The server was great. Overall, I've had waaaaay better for at a waaay better cost. So again, it's all about the commercialized experience
For our honey moon I decided to surprise my wife with a lunch date after our tour of the aquarium. The waiter was great, the food was awesome, watching the fish being fed was an experience in and of itself. I would definitely not expect a quiet meal unless you maybe reserve the entire room that is down the steps near the front, possibly named the water room.
The atmosphere was great, service was fantastic. Food was fine for a quick lunch option. Mermaid show was a big hit with the kids!
My fiancee and I love coming here. We love the aquarium. The restaurant is always sub par. The wait staff is very attentive but the food seems to disappoint everytime. It's not reflective of the prices they charge. Yes it's seafood so it will cost more but for an amazing setting run by Landrys, I expect more. The carpet looks and smells it's age. Visit and support the exhibit as much as you can and if you're hungry there's a restaurant that serves food.
Brittany was very good and attentive to our needs.
We took our grandson here because of the ambiance not necessarily the food. The service was exemplary with a very friendly waitress and prompt delivery of our food. Lucky for us our table was right next to the tank which our grandson loved. My husband had the Greek salad and I had the chicken salad sandwich while my grandsons had the kids shrimp. The bill was in the $80 range with soft drinks but no dessert. A bit pricy but you have to realize some of the price is for the ambiance. Of course you have to exit and enter through the gift shop. If you can talk the kids into going to the restaurant and skipping the aquarium it is a pretty good value.
Absolutely a must in Denver. Fun atmosphere with some unusually good food for a theme restaurant. You do not have to attend the Aquarium to make a visit here. Actually, you will feel you visited the Aquarium! You dine with fish in full view. A great place for all ages.
Took 45 min. to get our food and when we got it it was cold!!
Had a great time! Our server was awesome!! Loved sitting right next to the fish and divers and mermaid show!!
Had a great time and the food was amazing. We got to sit right by the glass. Our server was fantastic. Only downside is that people do not supervise their children very well. We ended up with children we did not know sitting at our table and literally wiping their noses on us.
Service was great, food was okay, and the view wasn't bad.
Overall good, only complaint was ordered medium rare steak and it was half medium well and half well done
Made reservations a week in advance for my son's birthday and asked to get a table next to the tanks. We arrived and let them know we had a reservation and we wanted a seat by the tank, they said it would be another 15 minutes which was fine. After waiting 20 minutes they sat us at a table that we in between the takes which made it difficult for the kids to see the fist. My son didn't care so it was fine. The food was alright but NOT worth the price.
We enjoyed the fish tanks & mermaid dives! Our service & waitress & food was great too!
Thank you for making Jimmy's birthday celebration very special!
We had an absolutely amazing celebration with our daughter and granddaughters at the Aquarium Restaurant. The food, service and Mermaid performance was exceptional. We suggest you secure reservations on the open table app. Thank you for a great experience. We will return and recommend to friends.
Great Service great food but make a reservation for the best experience.
We went for my 25th birthday -- had a blast! We asked in our reservation that they seat us next to the tank so that our daughter could watch the mermaid show. When we got there super early, I thought the restaurant would just sit us wherever they could since it was so busy. Instead, they were able to still sit us by the tank (I didn't even ask or remind them we wanted to sit there) and my daughter LOVED the show!! And the food of course lol My husband and I both had marg's and they were just as yummy as the food we got. I had the crab cake and he had the fried platter. For dessert, we had the lava cake which was AMAZING!! and so worth the wait (they say it takes about 20 min but I swear it was out faster than that). While they didn't sing or anything like that for my bday, it was an unforgettable night and seeing my daughter so happy (and her tummy full by the end) was the best!! Also-- had we not had a reservation we probably wouldn't have been able to get a spot. With it being St. Patty's Day (we forgot that it was that day) there were A TON of people there!! So it all worked out super well.
I made my reservation a month before I got to Denver from Salt Lake City! The Aquarium easily has the best and most flavorful seafood I've had in any inland state! Being seated right in front of the tank was a HUGE plus! And the drink glass souvenirs are a great idea! Out of a group of 4 people, we didn't have a single complaint on any drinks, appetizers or meals. Definitely worth every penny spent!
It was a bit pricy and the food was horrible! The private mermaid show was nice.
Had very good service in the restaurant. Made the visit special. Awesome waitress was very knowledgeable about Aquarium.
The staff were so welcoming, friendly, and professional. Great crew!
I dined here with my husband and our two kids on a vacation to the Denver area. We happened to be arriving at the aquarium around lunch time and figured we would try out the restaurant. The service was great and the food for the kids comes out on the cutest trays. I had fish tacos, which were very tasty and my husband had coconut shrimp. We shared the shark attack for dessert, which our kids thought was a lot of fun. It did take a long time to come out though. I highly recommend dining during the noon hour if you are going here for lunch, because the mermaid show was a highlight for our 4 year old and 7 year old as well.
All the food is great except the child’s chicken tenders that tasted awful. Unfortunately our son didn’t say anything but that he wasn’t hungry. We got back to our hotel and tried them later (took them to go after he didn’t eat), and they literally had no flavor. Waitress was great, and it was quiet and not super busy. Overall, a pretty good experience.
