Aquaknox Ratings and Reviews
As appetizers, the Lobster cocktail was good, but the Shrimp Ceviche was outstanding. My wife's scallops were perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. My seafood soup was very good, but over-salted a bit. The mussels, clams and the shrimp in the soup were coked perfectly, the shrimp popped as they should when you bite into them. The chunks of fish were a bit tattered and overdone. The wine list is exceptional.
Amazing! We booked last minute before a show and we are so happy we got our table!
We had the cold water oysters first and loved the 3 options from the east and west coast.
Our drinks, 30-day Barrel-Aged Manhattan, were so good.
I highly recommend the Maryland Blue Lump crab-stuffed Maine Lobster. It is a large dish but very good! Also get the Brussels sprouts for a side.
One of the best restaurants we've ever been to. Decor, service, food...perfect! The waitstaff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. We had the foie gras appetizer and the crab cake as well, and then for entrees, the whole Brazino, and a lobster-and-crab special. The portions were extremely generous, and every bite was a treat.
went for New Years eve dinner. service was only ok as waiter didn't appear for long gaps. bread was not served until asked for - after we finished our soup. meal was tasty and something we appreciated having been here before. the 2 lb. lobster did not look it, but the price of $125 (even thought there were crab meat) is out of line.
My husband and I ate here for New Year's Eve. The hostess gave us a booth which was very private and highly requested. They started us out with an Amuse Bouche which was a cold cornmeal like mini pancake topped with something.... not good at all. I ordered the scallops. I was served 4 half dollar sized scallops for $40. These scallops would be on the bottom of the list of all restaurants where I've eaten scallops. My husband had a steak and mashed potatoes which he thought was decent. The servers were great but the food was WAYYYYY over priced for what you received and the flavor of the food.
The sea food was well flavored, conceived, presented and excellent all around. Highly recommend the lobster bisque! My medium rare filet was not spot on but the accompanying crab stuffed lobster was. My wife’s prawn dish was also top notch.
The service was nice and attentive, but not as smooth as some of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at. Despite this, it was the decor and atmosphere that let us down. We had a late dinner (9:30pm) but in Las Vegas that’s not too late; yet, the restaurant was dead. Also the appearance of the restaurant was not up to the level of the food. The ceiling looked poorly painted and the eating nook we sat in was a black painted wood. It was kind of strange, not really rustic or modern but rather unfinished feel.
While the food was very good (notably the sea food) the rest of the experience didn’t warrant the price point.
My husband ate an assortment of seafood (curry mussels &fish soup)and something was not fresh as he experienced a rough 48 hours after dinner with nausea, stomach distress and overall gastrointestinal problems. My food which included a salad and a fish entree, was good and I did not suffer similar effects. Also one of our waiters was distracted while he was talking with us & continually looking around the room.
I had the surf and turf (filet); both the lobster tail and steak were excellent. It was plenty to share with my daughter. The waiter gladly complied with the split. The black garlic sauce accompanying the Cesar salad was very good. No bread was served with the meal.
My husband had several clams that didn’t open. The chef brought us more and took them off the bill. Overall, excellent food but bring your checkbook as it is not inexpensive.
The service was really kind and helpful. I got the scallops, the entire dish was unevenly salted. The mushrooms were intolerably salty and the cauliflower not salted enough. I guess I got unlucky. Fries were great. Seafood platter appetizers were delicious.
Food was great!! No complains it went over my expectations eapecially considering the expensive price..!! Service was great but it completely looked too obviosu they were just trying to get the tip money..., which is understandable... the ambience is nice but it can be better for a fine dining its, the restaurant is kinda in the middle of the nowhere in the ventian, but if you dont care about that stuff i highly recommend the food at aquaknox lobster bisque and seafood plateau really amazing!!
Selection of fish was somewhat limited. I never had Barramundi and it was excellent. Annoying hostess who insisted on seating us (party of 2) right in between other occupied tables despite the restaurant having ~20% of their tables seated with patrons. She grudgingly moved us but had an attitude as if she was put out by the request.
My father and I share a birthday and we celebrated at Aquaknox! It was perfect. From the hostess to our server and table staff, to the chef who brought us some extra delectable goodies from the kitchen! The service and the food was superb and the drinks were crafted to perfection! Would highly recommend if you are in Las Vegas! Bravo!
Service was notably slow, from getting drinks and throughout. Multiple people in my party said something at one time or another about it. However, the service was helpful when they were around. The wine list was large, but offered few selections under $100 a bottle. Steaks were tasty, as were the scallops I had, however the portion size of 3 medium-sized scallops was meager. Desserts were excellent.
