Aquaknox Ratings and Reviews
Great food. Really nice atmospheres. Had a reservation at 5 prior to a 7:30 in the Venetian. Arrived 10 minutes early and waited at the bar and had to go back to the hostess 10 minutes after our reservation time to remind her we were waiting. She had clearly forgotten/overlooked that we had already checked in. Waiter was very professional and engaging, but the food took a long time (we had a show to make and had given ourselves 2.5 hours lead time to complete dinner). Party of 4 had 3 dinners come out, but the 4th came out 10 minutes later. Waiter disappeared and we had to track him down for the check. Could have been a bad night, but the service failures ruined what would have been a great dinner experience at what seems to be a really nice restaurant. Repeat, the food was excellent and presented very impressively.
Yeah, amazing food but the place was not crowded. They always left water glasses empty until you flagged down and requested a refill. When I was done, they took my plate away (and the sides). Little did I know that two of my coworkers has not finished their food. We went to absenthe for drinks, sin and an amazing experience.
We love this place! Everything from the food to the service is top notch. With so many choices here in Las Vegas, this is one of our "go to" spots. Being locals it's hard to find a place that acknowledges you for being a repeat customer and they make that extra effort for those in town. They have a wine pairing experience which is very cool. Kudos to them for what they bring to the table!
The food was delicious, the service quite good, the room was attractive and surprisingly quiet for such a large open space. The portions are very small, though, so if you are really. hungry, you might want to choose an item that has a bit more volume, or go somewhere else. The lobster bisque was perfect but just a scant cup. The scallops were nicely done, but just three medium-plus. Except for the side of bok choy, the quantity was disappointing right through dessert. For flavor and quality of ingredients, Aquaknox really stands out. Only the small portions disappoint.
Service across the board was great. I asked for an alcove for date night and was accommodated without hesitation. My wife enjoyed the lobster bisque, and I gobbled up the fish soup. The wine pairing was on target. The butterscotch pudding was addicting. It is Vegas, so pricing is high, but worth it. The restaurant is along “restaurant row”, so if you don’t ask for seating deeper in the restaurant, it can be noisy. I will definitely return for a repeat experience.
Restaurant did not open until 530PM so we sat at the bar and ordered appetizers and drinks; MISTAKE - the bartender was unfriendly and hurried us thought there were only one other couple on the premises. He completely dismissed my wife's presence and barely acknowledge us. Two drink (during Happy Hour) and one appetizer for an astonishing high price of $80(!) and lousy /corse experience. BLUF - if it was not for the dinner reservation, we would have immediately departed!!!
The dinner was the opposite experience; our waiter staff were impeccable, professional, attentive and knowledgeable. They made our dinning experience worth while, memorable and special. The head waiter's knowledge of wines resembled closely the best sommeliers' we had encounter around the World!
The food arrived on time, excellently prepared and well tasting
Unfortunately the overall price tag was too high for the dishes we ordered, so this was a mixed dinning experience
25 minutes past reservation before we were seated. But very apologetic and gave us a complimentary cocktail. Didn't go there with reason of getting anything for free, however. Not too attentive on wine pouring ( wine in chller out of reach). Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves so maybe we were just a little unlucky that everything didn't quite fall into place as it should have.
Service was good but the value for the food was not there. Steak was tender but no flavor. Seafood (scallops) was fair (rubbery) as well, nothing special (very little flavor). The price for value was high. I have had better tasting meals at far less expensive restaurants. I am willing to pay for good quality tasting entrees but these did not measure up. I would not recommend.
Sorry, but it was my first and last time to dine there.
Great restaurant located in the Venetian Hotel. Menu had a nice variety of seafood and steak. The bone in ribeye was probably the best steak I’ve ever had. A little pricey, but I knew that when making the reservation. Great for a date night or anniversary as the atmosphere is very cozy and intimate. Overall, 10/10.
