Brought my mom out to dinner and she loved it.. our waiter was really nice, he even took the time to go through their restaurant week menu with us. Everything tasted phinominal! Would definitely recommend for a date night or a birthday dinner
Our server was fantastic and was very accommodating! The food was delicious and served very timely and efficiently. We enjoyed all the bubbly cocktails, and honestly the brunch $50 menu is a steal! Why are not more people aware of this!?
Thanks, we had such a lovely time
The waiter we had was excellent. The food got held up for quite a while but I don’t think we noticed. Still, they were nice enough to comp us some guacamole. The mains ended up coming out perfectly cooked, but both were incredibly salty (thankfully the guac was under seasoned so it did a good job neutralizing the salinity). The atmosphere is somewhat strange being in a hotel lobby, but the hotel is the magnificent Philadelphia ritz-Carlton, and so it’s still beautiful despite being a little strange. I’d definitely go back. Just a few small qualms I had with the experience.
Beautiful and relaxing elegance. We started the evening with a drink in the sophisticated but relaxing lounge. We could have sat there comfortably for hours. Loved the decor and the comfortable seating. Quiet areas for conversation. Beautiful light “show” on the ceiling.
Had dinner in the restaurant for Restaurant Week. The menu was good and the portions were moderate yet filling. The service was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.
Love love LOVE!
I went there on a Tuesday night for a first date. I had never been to the Ritz Carlton so the lobby is beautiful and a nice place to grab a cocktail before dinner. As I had never been to Aqimero before, I assumed it was a separate enclosure from the lobby but it turns out it isn't...it's simply located on one side of the lobby with pillars separating it from the main area. That being said, the noise level is acceptable because the ceilings are 200 ft tall and it still fee's cool / intimate despite the setting. Good first date place.
We shared food from small plates and anticuchos - (skewers) - we had the tuna tartare and ceviche from the small plates which were amazing and then the hanger steak and lamb sirloin skewers - the meat was extremely flavorful and tender - maybe a bit too undercooked, but it's all preference so just let them know when you order. The portions were great and we actually had to cancel our prawns order as we were full after sharing the four plates. Service was attentive - what you would expect from the Ritz and we had a great time.
Highly recommend for a fun first date that's classy and cool.
We went for restaurant week and a birthday. Service was excellent. I’m not a real fan of wood fired, aka somewhat burnt on the outside with a smoky flavor food, but It was great to “try out” this restaurant nonetheless.
I had high expectations for a restaurant chosen to take real estate within the Ritz Carlton. Aqimero delivered an average performance. Now, I will say I engaged in the Restaurant Week menu, but I do not think this is an excuse to serve “okay” food. Aqimero is a beautiful restaurant with semi open kitchen and high ceilings. Our waiter was knowledgable on the menu, but a little too enthusiatic and talkative for the feel of the place. First course was a charred romaine salad - decent, would’ve been one step better if it was seasoned properly. Second course, poisson or full chicken - lacked flavor and served with too many sliced chilis (one and your entire mouth is fried). Dessert - the chocotorte and the biggest disappointment. I always say a dessert is what seals the meal and answers the question “will I come back or not?”. This dessert definitely answered the question - I will not be going back. The layers of cookie and cream cheese was so bland that during comsumption, I was questioning my own palate and wondering if my brain was having a lapse. In summary, the food lacked refinement - what turns an average performance to a memorable one.
Amazing!! We had the ceviche, stuffed poblano pepper, and shared the fish of the day - they brought it to our table prior to preparing it. Everything we had was so delicious, we cannot wait to return. The service was impeccable, and the manager, Gabe, personally came to the table to introduce himself and welcome us. It's in the lobby of the Ritz Carlton hotel, off to the side, so you're not sitting at the bar and you can watch the chef cook your meal through a large glass wall. Definitely recommend!
Amazing food and drinks! Great server! Unlimited brunch is well worth the money if you come hungry!
Great Brunch !!
One of the nest brunches in the city. Great food selection.
This was my second time having brunch here. You can not beat the endless brunch option of $50 for anything and however many items on the menu with endless brunch drinks. The food is always amazing. The atmosphere is ideal for something romantic or a girls brunch outing. All 6 of us loved it, our waitress was awesome. We will be back
I was expecting better tasting Xmas buffet for amount they charged per person. Selection was ok but was just unappetizing and definitely tasteless. Even dessert was horrible-it appeared like cheap store bought collections of sweets. I can say the only thing I enjoyed was the hotchocolate and the ambiance . Everything else was a disappointment. It is a shame I expected more from ritz Carlton based restaurant .
Tacky ambience and decoration. Highly expensive price for such an ordinary and mediocre brunch. Not too many options, nothing extraordinary, poor presentation of the plates. Doesn’t worth it!
Brunch was wonderful, the service was fantastic and everyone was very kind. The hotel was nicely decorated.
Wonderful Birthday dinner for my daughter!
The hot chocolate bar was a complete joke. We waited for 25 minutes only to receive a half cup of Luke warm bitter nasty hot chcolate. They were out of everything including marshmallows!!! Never going back!! Also the lady running the bar was flustered and rude!
I was very disappointed with my food: bacon and potatoes we cooked too hard; eggs and toast were okay. My server asked if I wanted bacon cooked within the scrambled eggs; I agreed to try. This didn't happen, for bacon was served separately on plate. Server claimed she told cooks to scramble bacon with eggs. One of my coworkers also complained about potatoes being overdone. I don't know if they are premade or made fresh but they were hard and had no flavor. I have eaten diner food for a lesser price and tasted far better than the Ritz Hotel, which I had much higher expectations. I've never eaten at this restaurant before either.
I’ve been here before and it was great , so this time I brought a larger party to celebrate the holidays . Service was extremely slow for no apparent reason there was only 5 tables seated and in two hours we all only received 3 drinks which is quite disappointing at an “unlimited “ brunch . Our waiter was pleasant but had many excuses for why the service was slow ... the food was ok at best and every time we asked for certain items he would say “ they’re already coming “ not to mention we were asked not to stay more than two hours because there was another party coming after us ... We weren’t pleased but we were moved to the lobby area as the manager had asked but it was very disappointing since all the other tables were able to stay seated for the entirety of the brunch 11:30-330...
Daniel was our server he was AMAZING!! my sisters and i came for brunch and i made the mistake of booking the reservation to early. He was super understanding and accommodating he made us feel super welcome and totally comfortable. He was so attentive and on top of his game we had such a wonderful experience because of him. The food and ambiance were an added bonus of delight. The foods was delicious loved the cold seafood salad, and the crab avocado toast the passion fruit mousse was also a winner!
Bobby was great. The food was delicious and they took good care of our vegan friend. Cocktail program is impressive
Excellent food in an upscale setting
Best tomahawk I’ve had
Service was excellent. Nice eclectic menu
Aquimero had amazing selection for Saturday lunch! Everything was delicious!
My waitress Mary is by far the best that I have ever had! I have had the pleasure of being waited on her more than 3 times and this is the first review I have given her. I know shame on me for that. This place is excellent I enjoy the setting, seating, food and the service.
The waiters were fine but overall took a while to get served, and some food items took literally 50 minutes to come from the kitchen. This is the 2nd time we've had long wait times for food and service at brunch here.
Lovely Thanksgiving buffet where the raw bar shone brighter than the traditional fixings. Service was a bit spotty but overall a great place to celebrate the holiday.
The setting was good and energetic. As for the food , the creativeness and variety was good but most of the food had to much salt.
We use to go years ago and the food was amazing. This time the food was lack luster. I would pay more $$$ if I can get the old menu back. The French toast was IHOP basic. Please bring back the old menu!!! I will pay $75 -$100 if the old menu comes back. It's the Ritz I go for rich food and great service. Coffee is great. Mimosas are delicious. Overall it was okay. I also love the wait staff they are attentive and wonderful. Daniel is the best!!!
We had a large group of 8 people which can always be challenging, but the service was superb. The restaurant itself is stunning, and the food was delicious. I can’t wait to return!
Excellent service. Sat at the bar and received the best service from a very attentive bar lady.
Food was tasty and she went the extra mile to get me my favorite dessert.
Lovely afternoon. Thank you !
Birthday dinner for my mothers 65th birthday. They put us in a room and pretty much forgot about us. Our waters were never filled, and our waiter didn’t know anything about the food specials or anything. It was pretty amateur for the money spent on the dinner.
Good Day, Thank you for dining with us at Aqimero. It is our mission to create unique and memorable experiences for all our guests. I am truly saddened that we significantly fell short of this while celebrating your Mother's birthday. I would love the opportunity speak further and hopefully regain you as our guest at Aqimero. Please feel free to contact me at the restaurant at your earliest convenience. Regards, John
I believe that the choices should have been a little more elaborate and complete, such as with vegetable on the side. An example of a non elaborate enough presentation is the cinnamon bun, which had some cream topping spread on top. If your name is the Ritz Carlton (French Hotel) then the presentation should also reflect the elegance of the name.
Location was great. Service was great. The server offered to just put in the most popular items for us so we could just try everything. The value for the price we paid was fantastic. The quickness of the later rounds of drinks got slower but it was still good. Just really really enjoyed the serve putting in options for us so we didn’t have to choose, it was fantastic and made our visit.
My son and his girlfriend took me for a wonderful birthday brunch. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. I look forward to going back.
Went for my birthday and they were extremely accommodating to my big group! Everything was amazing - the space is beautiful, the people are so kind and the food and drinks were unique and delicious. 10/10 recommend!!!
Although it took over an hour for our entree to arrive (2 burgers), they were delicious, the manager was extremely apologetic. I’m still not sure how the waiter did not realize something was wrong after repeated inquiries as to where was our meal but we were comped for our entire meal, drinks and apps for included. I gave a good rating because of the quality of the food and the manager’s appropriate response to what could have been a horrible experience.
