Lovely for a special occasion brunch. The architecture and design elements of the Ritz are gorgeous. Would love to try the bar one night!
Average at best. Way overpriced. Cocktails at $19. O0 were very week. Paid $14.00 a week before for same drinks that were much better at Capital Grill. Food is OK. Nothing spectacular. Would not go again.
Cheesesteak sandwich was not on the brunch menu and the waitperson was kind enough to order it and the kitchen staff was kind enough to make it.
If you're looking for fine dining, I most highly recommend this restaurant. Friendly and well trained staff; our server was untop of things. Entrees with unique flavors that wakes up your taste buds. Phenomenal place, try it, you won't regret it!!!!
over priced..and service was no great..disappointed
Impeccable service - had a wardrobe malfunction during dinner and staff was very accommodating and helpful. Food was excellent. Would recommend grilled octopus as a starter.
We visit several times and always enjoy. However this dining we felt a little slighted.
The chicken and waffles are my favs. When ordered twice, both times dark chicken and small pieces... while around us others ordering the same had lighter chicken and more robust pieces.....go figure. Otherwise a great place to eat and have great drinks and conversation.
I will be back. And hopefully bigger pieces of chicken!
Besides the food and location, the staff is magnificent! They go above and beyond!
A wonderful ambiance in a beautiful place and great food with outstanding service. Enjoy!!
Amazing choice of food and drinks and excellent service - will return!
Great brunch, beautiful place
First time eatting here , the food and service was amazing
Awesome dining experience! Great ambience.
I was really excited to have brunch here. My daughters and I came here before an afternoon show at the Merriam Theater. The drinks were good but all of our toast which came with our meals were burned which really affected the taste. I had the avocado and lobster toast which barely had any avocado and my daughter had a meal that included a poached egg and burned toast, so the toast was important for both. Our waitress was really perky and nice but the waiter that delivered the food was not that great. I asked for extra syrup for my other daughter’s French toast and it never came. Anyway, I guess I had higher hopes for a restaurant located within a Ritz. The bill was over $100 for brunch and I just don’t feel like I got what I paid for.
We ate here on a Tuesday evening before the theater. Very few people in the restaurant so we enjoyed almost complete attention from the servers. Skewers and small plates were delicious . Definitely try the stuffed poblano with chorizo. Outstanding
Molly was a great server! Thank you!
We did a Saturday brunch and Sunday regular breakfast! Lobster avocado toast delicious; as well as the mushroom toast! Many other delicious choices! The $50.00 brunch; all you can drink was great bang for the Buck! Staff all warm and friendly! We especially liked Jasmine! Would definitely recommend!
Food was terrible. Beef short rib which should be soft was hard like a pot roast. Tuna tartare was tasteless. Food was awful
One of the nicest spaces in the city, but the food has been uneven over the years. Aqimero is very good generally, and the Sunday brunch turns out to be fantastic. Inventive and incredibly good-tasting options. I had the chicken and waffles; the agave syrup of the waffles and the hot peppers of the chicken provided a striking and delicious contrast, elevating this far above the usual chicken-&-waffles. Everything else seemed equally well thought-out. Get the all-you-can eat version of the menu and plan on spending too hours stuffing yourself.
Food was on point and was exactly what we were hoping for. The staff was very friendly, fast and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Aqimero to family, friends and clients.
My friend and I had brunch on Saturday afternoon at Aqimero. After seeing many options on the menu that we would like to try, we opted to do the $50 Brunch and Bubbly. It was well worth it, the food was great, the service was great and it was a great time! The manager greeted us and asked us how our service was, which is always a sign that the restaurant goes above and beyond and is great. There was no shortage on food, we ordered maybe 5 or 6 rounds of food. Everything was great, the crab and avocado salad was great, the lobster avocado toast was so fresh and had a good portion of lobster on it. The cinnamon rolls, blueberry empanadas and french toast were great. My favorite was an unusual for me, the mushroom flatbread that was brought over to us by compliments of the chef for our crab and avocado salad taking a little longer. We sat there for 3 hours! and did not feel rushed for one moment. I can't recommend this enough!
Aqimero was a pleasant experience. The service was outstanding. We order the prawns and Brazilian short rib and enjoyed both meals. A note about the sides, they're large so 1 for 2 is sufficient. Reccomend place to eat in philly.
Great place to host a business meeting over lunch. Excellent food (go for the power lunch) as well as wonderful service.
Went to Aqimero with a group of friends on a recommendation from my hair dresser. Exceeded every expectation that we had. The food was exceptional, the service prompt and friendly and the price for brunch was reasonable. Would definitely visit again!
Everything was perfect. I am completely satisfied with my experience
Best service from the minute we walk in to the minute we left. I will come back again and will recommend this place to everyone. I'm even thinking of doing my wedding here as well in 2021. I can't wait to come back here with my friends and family.
Thank you again for the great service
Server Mary was awsome very attentive but not bothersome and professional. She gave great customer service. Very beautiful inside, I would come here anytime!
I had a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was lovely. Everyone was so nice and polite. The drinks were delicious and the food was good. However for the price of the food, we didn’t love it. We went for Valentine’s Day and there was a pre-fix menu, I think we would’ve enjoyed it more if we were able to choose from the regular menu.
It was Valentine's Day and we were given the Prix Fixe menu. I didn't see any other menu, so I thought we had to order prix fixe. Then the table next to us were served items not on prix fixe, so I realized too late that I could have ordered an entree I preferred, with fewer courses. With prix fixe, there was way too much food and it was more expensive than we planned for, so I was disappointed. We had desserts packed to go.
On the positive side, for such a large restaurant the noise level is low and service excellent.
Walking into the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton is like walking back in time to old Philadelphia. The huge columns and 3 story ceiling are stunning and also keep the noise level to a minimum. Andrew, who I had spoken to earlier in the day, cane over and introduced himself.
Even though this was Valentines Day, I was with my son, and they let us order a few items not on the prix fix menu. The cocktails were perfect and the wine list had a great selection from all over the world.
Dirty plates and utensils were removed immediately by the attentive staff. Everyone who worked there definitely made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend Aqimero.
This was our second time dining at Aqimero for brunch after the Theater. We had such a good time the first time that we decided to come back. Each entrée we tried was more delicious than the next. Our favorites are the Lobster Avocado toast and the King Oyster Mushroom on toast. Another favorite was the Manhattan bagel with the salmon and capers. Our server was very accommodating when notified of my food sensitivities and I made it through the meal without any issues. Thank you Aqimero! All five of us will be back!
Love this place, can't say enough great stuff about it. Great brunch spot and our waiter Anthony was amazing!!!
After not properly checking us in, (as our reservation
If you want to waste your money on a less-than-stellar meal, then this is the perfect place. A $25 shrimp cocktail featuring 4 large shrimp (one too tough and chewy for my 10-year old to handle). There’s nothing here to recommend. Philly is full of great restaurants. This ain’t one.
Excellent place to enjoy a business breakfast. Service is very prompt, professional, and courteous. Will return.
Wonderful , I have told friends and want to come back
We went to Aqimero for a special occasion brunch with family and had a large table. We chose Aqimero for the unlimited brunch, and while some of the dishes were really good (King Oyster Mushrooms, Eggs in a Jar, Chicken & Waffles), the attention to detail was extremely lacking. For starters, they were out of several menu items including the Bacon and Blueberry Empanada and were not able to make a Bellini. So both the kitchen and the bar were lacking. The food came out all at once, which for a tasting type experience it was like they were trying to get us through the restaurant as quickly as possible, yet they did not have a wait for tables. Later in the meal, some items that we ordered never came and the second half of the brunch felt like the staff and kitchen were not around at all.
The real disappointment is that we chose Aqimero as a place to celebrate and because we were excited for the menu and experience in the Ritz. It did not meet our expectations.
Always lovely. Service was exceptional and no problems.
Fabulous spot for lunch. Amazing food and extremely attentive service! Will definitely be back!
I was a guest at the hotel during the Academy Ball weekend but live locally, so have dined there several times. We arrived at 11:20 and were told that no tables were available, although I could see that there were. I made a reservation for 11:45 and was offered a table that was available earlier. We ordered our meals off of a very limited brunch menu and I advised the waitress that I wanted my options, an appetizer a double order, for my meal with my husband's entree option. My meal came early (two separate plates which I had to combine on my own) well before my husband's order. My husband's order came after I finished and I asked for a drink while he ate. My drink never came - the explanation (from the hostess, not our waitress) was that the champagne glasses were not clean. An excuse was offered that it was Academy Ball weekend, but they should have known this and staffed accordingly. There were only 2 waitresses on the floor! It's a poor sign when the hostesses are serving. We asked one of the hostesses, our waitress and and a bus person and received it 20 minutes later.
Unless there is a blizzard outside, I will not dine at Aqimero again. There are too many good restaurants nearby. Can't wait for the new Four Seasons.
