Great place to host a business meeting over lunch. Excellent food (go for the power lunch) as well as wonderful service.
Went to Aqimero with a group of friends on a recommendation from my hair dresser. Exceeded every expectation that we had. The food was exceptional, the service prompt and friendly and the price for brunch was reasonable. Would definitely visit again!
Best service from the minute we walk in to the minute we left. I will come back again and will recommend this place to everyone. I'm even thinking of doing my wedding here as well in 2021. I can't wait to come back here with my friends and family.
Thank you again for the great service
Server Mary was awsome very attentive but not bothersome and professional. She gave great customer service. Very beautiful inside, I would come here anytime!
I had a great experience. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff was lovely. Everyone was so nice and polite. The drinks were delicious and the food was good. However for the price of the food, we didn’t love it. We went for Valentine’s Day and there was a pre-fix menu, I think we would’ve enjoyed it more if we were able to choose from the regular menu.
It was Valentine's Day and we were given the Prix Fixe menu. I didn't see any other menu, so I thought we had to order prix fixe. Then the table next to us were served items not on prix fixe, so I realized too late that I could have ordered an entree I preferred, with fewer courses. With prix fixe, there was way too much food and it was more expensive than we planned for, so I was disappointed. We had desserts packed to go.
On the positive side, for such a large restaurant the noise level is low and service excellent.
Walking into the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton is like walking back in time to old Philadelphia. The huge columns and 3 story ceiling are stunning and also keep the noise level to a minimum. Andrew, who I had spoken to earlier in the day, cane over and introduced himself.
Even though this was Valentines Day, I was with my son, and they let us order a few items not on the prix fix menu. The cocktails were perfect and the wine list had a great selection from all over the world.
Dirty plates and utensils were removed immediately by the attentive staff. Everyone who worked there definitely made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend Aqimero.
This was our second time dining at Aqimero for brunch after the Theater. We had such a good time the first time that we decided to come back. Each entrée we tried was more delicious than the next. Our favorites are the Lobster Avocado toast and the King Oyster Mushroom on toast. Another favorite was the Manhattan bagel with the salmon and capers. Our server was very accommodating when notified of my food sensitivities and I made it through the meal without any issues. Thank you Aqimero! All five of us will be back!
Love this place, can't say enough great stuff about it. Great brunch spot and our waiter Anthony was amazing!!!
After not properly checking us in, (as our reservation
If you want to waste your money on a less-than-stellar meal, then this is the perfect place. A $25 shrimp cocktail featuring 4 large shrimp (one too tough and chewy for my 10-year old to handle). There’s nothing here to recommend. Philly is full of great restaurants. This ain’t one.
Excellent place to enjoy a business breakfast. Service is very prompt, professional, and courteous. Will return.
Wonderful , I have told friends and want to come back
We went to Aqimero for a special occasion brunch with family and had a large table. We chose Aqimero for the unlimited brunch, and while some of the dishes were really good (King Oyster Mushrooms, Eggs in a Jar, Chicken & Waffles), the attention to detail was extremely lacking. For starters, they were out of several menu items including the Bacon and Blueberry Empanada and were not able to make a Bellini. So both the kitchen and the bar were lacking. The food came out all at once, which for a tasting type experience it was like they were trying to get us through the restaurant as quickly as possible, yet they did not have a wait for tables. Later in the meal, some items that we ordered never came and the second half of the brunch felt like the staff and kitchen were not around at all.
The real disappointment is that we chose Aqimero as a place to celebrate and because we were excited for the menu and experience in the Ritz. It did not meet our expectations.
Always lovely. Service was exceptional and no problems.
Fabulous spot for lunch. Amazing food and extremely attentive service! Will definitely be back!
I was a guest at the hotel during the Academy Ball weekend but live locally, so have dined there several times. We arrived at 11:20 and were told that no tables were available, although I could see that there were. I made a reservation for 11:45 and was offered a table that was available earlier. We ordered our meals off of a very limited brunch menu and I advised the waitress that I wanted my options, an appetizer a double order, for my meal with my husband's entree option. My meal came early (two separate plates which I had to combine on my own) well before my husband's order. My husband's order came after I finished and I asked for a drink while he ate. My drink never came - the explanation (from the hostess, not our waitress) was that the champagne glasses were not clean. An excuse was offered that it was Academy Ball weekend, but they should have known this and staffed accordingly. There were only 2 waitresses on the floor! It's a poor sign when the hostesses are serving. We asked one of the hostesses, our waitress and and a bus person and received it 20 minutes later.
Unless there is a blizzard outside, I will not dine at Aqimero again. There are too many good restaurants nearby. Can't wait for the new Four Seasons.
I’ve now been here 2 years in a row for my birthday and they are very accomodating. Probably going to make dining here a birthday tradition!
Great atmosphere, friendly sevice. Delicious food. We had the share plates. Everything was delicious. The place is beautiful. Will definitely go back.
The restaurant is beautiful, Staff were very welcoming and they made sure we had an amazing experience. Will definitely be coming back
Awesome place, but food is sub par. Would go back just to lounge and have drinks/apps, but not dine.
Very displeased with the service. Waitress was rude and waiting 45 minutes to tell us the kitchen was out of the dish we ordered. Will not return or recommend.
It was cold and food was too spicy and salty
Beautiful ambiance, restaurant is to the side of the huge lobby. Came here for restaurant week. Service was a little slow for my table (it wasn't particularly crowded). Desserts took much longer than expected; waiter told us three separate times that it'll "be out shortly". I thought the food was good, wasn't mind-blowing, but definitely worth a try.
Our Server Jasmine was great! Very attentive and friendly.
My 3 friends and I came for the restaurant week menu. My friends ordered the beets, pork tostadas, and quejio coalho for starters and the steak, chicken, and black bass for entrees.
While all of our dishes were delicious and plates were all cleaned, I was disappointed to find pieces of bone and scale in my black bass while eating. I asked my friend who also ordered the black bass if she had found bones and scales in hers and it was the same case.
Not only is it unpleasant when a black bass isn’t properly filleted, it is almost dangerous especially if a consumer is unaware and ends up swallowing the bones and scales.
There was a manager who was routinely checking each table so I alerted him of my issue. He did remedy the situation by taking off a cocktail off the bill and sending over a plate of chocolate covered strawberries, but it didn’t leave me too impressed with Aqimero.
Dinner came to a total of $260.00 for a party of 4 on top of a $42 valet. I understand incidents happen, but I’d hope a fine dining restaurant in the Ritz Carlton have higher standards for the preparation and presentation of their dishes.
Love the Higo Pisco and the Spanish octopus are delicious. Also, the blueberries empanadas.
We visited Aqimero for restaurant week - we had been there once previously for a charitable event and wanted to try something from the regular menu. For appetizers we had Pork Tostadas and some sort of fried cheese. The tostadas were pretty good, the cheese was just grilled and wasn’t really anything remarkable. For the main course we both had Black Bass. It was tasty enough, but there wasn’t much of it - and it was just grilled. Overall it was good but not extraordinary. The fish was accompanied by a few pieces of sliced asparagus and some tiny potatoes - again served with little adornment. For dessert we had bread pudding and passion fruit flan. Both were good. Service was good, but seemed a bit disinterested. I’ve always thought that restaurant week was an opportunity to attract new customers, but Aqimero didn’t really seem to be trying very hard, in my opinion. The appetizer and main course choices were very limited, and portions were not very generous.
The atmosphere was nice and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. The server (Anthony was very nice), hostess, and runners were nice and accommodating. The food, however, left much to be desired. The bass had no seasoning or flavor. I didn't understand why the server asked us if we wanted salt or pepper until I took my first bite. The menu listed asparagus as a part of the dish, but there were three pieces so small I they blended into the unseasoned squares of potatoes. My friend enjoyed her flank steak, but also mentioned her potatoes lacked seasoning. The drink was good, but for the price it leveled to mediocre. Some redemption came in the form of a free glass of champagne at dessert. Overall, I was severely underwhelmed and immensely glad I came for restaurant week and did not pay full price. I would have rated the service higher, but they forgot our bread (arguably the best part) and my friend's steak knife.
Wonderful grand interior. Posh bar area. Food was good and well prepared but not perfect. I would go back none the less. Good wine but expensive! Excellent wait staff.
Bad service never got greeted at all had to find someone to seat us took forever to get a menu nobody seemed to know how to smile.
Great food! Highly recommend the grilled swordfish dip.
We made reservations and were seated immediately. The ambiance is beautiful for a date. The service was excellent the food was good. Overall i would recommend this for a date night.
Excellent time. Anthony was excellent serving us and making the night beyond memorable.
Last night was our first time eating at Aqimero. They served a Christmas dinner buffet costing $95 per person. The bar area is beautiful, with the incredibly high, domed ceiling and comfortable seating. The bar service was quick, friendly, professional, and attentive. Please bear in mind that the feedback I’m giving describes only the Christmas buffet and not their regular menu. After being promptly seated at our reserved time, we were given our menus showing the prescribed buffet dinner selections. The seafood buffet included raw oysters, crab legs, and shrimp. Nothing special. What you would expect to be served at a buffet, I guess. The salad bar included two types of lettuce mixes and standard vegetable toppings with two dressing choices. Again, nothing special. After finishing our salads, our server removed our plates, but returned our used silverware, expecting us to use it for the rest of our meal. Really?! We requested new silverware. Then came the entree of meats, which were served at the table and not on the buffet line. We were served an obnoxiously massive helping of three meats for two people: salmon, ham, and beef. The amount of meat we were served could have easily fed 4-6 people! The ham was delicious. The steak was good, and we never tasted the salmon. We had so much meat leftover, we asked the server why so much meat was served. She admitted its far too much and suggested we take it home. Because we were visitors, we decided to feed it to a homeless person. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations for a $200+ dinner on Christmas night. There was nothing special or memorable (in a good way) about the food, quality of the service, or the buffet presentation.
Christmas buffet is my only experience. Main entree of prime rib, ham and salmon was delicious...everything else left much to be desired in quality and quantity.
The Christmas Eve prefixed menu was pretty lame and it was truly overpriced. I eat out a lot and this was of the worst deals ever. I have been to this restaurant before and liked it but this was such a bad experience that I won’t be returning
Wonderful time had by all, but towards the end we felt like we were being rushed out
The service and food are wonderful! I especially like the hostesses and wait staff who are cheerful friendly and helpful!!
Endless brunch starts at 11:30 which I didn’t realize when I made 10:30 reservation. After paying $9 for coffee we had at table we decided to wait and sat at bar. Brunch choices are delicious. You choose off a menu rather than a buffet..which I prefer. Lots of options and champagne drinks. I wish a Bloody Mary was offered, but other than that we left satisfied and definitely full for the afternoon. Beautiful lobby and decorated for holidays.
