It was wonderful and the food was amazing! My fiancé and I went pretty hungry and got the dinner for two.. it is A LOT of food. Could probably be split between 3 people. All the food was delicious and service was great
The Staff were very kind and helpful, are friends arrive 20-25 minutes late the restaurant was completely fine an at no time did the rush us. The menu had a lot of options with Vegetarian and GF choices. The food was delicious and generous.
I would return.
The food was excellent but the inside seating was extremely loud.
What a great find. Apricot Stone is a BYOB with great food. The portions are generous so bring your appetite! We all had the plate platters and could not finish. Unfortunately we were from out of town and couldn't savor the left overs. Chicken Swarma was delicious and the falafel (4) was great -- not dry and the perfect texture. The babaganoush was really good. This is fun place for friends. It's between 2 streets down a cafe style seating ally. Super quaint and really good.
This is my go to destination whenever I have dining companions who want vegetarian or vegan options which are plentiful on the menu. The BYOB feature is a plus. (The well stocked PA state wine and liquor store is only few hundred yards away). I am never disappointed by the tasty and lovingly prepared dishes. The possibility of dining outside while watching the passers-by just adds to the experience.
Amazing food. Great price. Amazing service. Very authentic. Great ambiance outside weather permitting.
Excellent restaurant overall. Great service, atmosphere, delicious food. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who hasn’t been yet.
We had a reservation for 6 PM and they told us that we had to be out by 7 PM. We were fine with that until we sat down and realized no everyone else around us had been there before we got there and was still there when we left. We felt rushed and the food really wasn’t anything to love. Very pricey for what you get. I was also EXTREMELY excited to try this place because I love Mediterranean food and this place had great reviews. I was pretty disappointed :/
The food was excellent, especially anything with eggplant (baba ganoush, imam bayaldi). We also really enjoyed the rice pudding. Service was friendly and on point.
WE had the best dinner. Ordered 4 appetizers and they were fabulous. We all had different dishes with lamb and they were absolutely delicious!!! The lamb was very tender and the rice pilaf was excellent. Israeli salad...yummy and of course baklava.....we sat outdoors....and we brought wine. A PERFECT EVENING WITH FRIENDS!!!!! Thank you...
Our dinner was a great experience, we were early and the server was very welcoming and she immediately brought out ice water to the three of us. When they opened the food feast commenced.
Every dish was fresh and delicious. The server remained friendly, smiling and attentive.
It was a great evening, we are planning to go back soon.
Amazing as always!!
They were extremely accommodating for one of our diners dietary restrictions.
Love the food!!!!!!
Everything here is delicious. Such a rich, vibrant little nook in a big food area. Food is absolutely delicious only critique was that service was a little slow. There was a lot of out door seating and the place was filled so understandable. BYO too!
Good Mediterranean food with good prices. Nothing was "amazing" but everything was above average. Good place for people in the neighborhood looking for an affordable place to eat. It's BYOB which we sadly didn't know until we were sat, but it looked fun to bring a bottle of wine and eat good food!
The food was fantastic, always a great place to take someone for a wonderful meal.
Great food, excellent service!
What a great experience! Such good value for the food you get, and being a byob is an added plus. 3 of us shares the Dinner for 2 + one additional entree, and it was plenty of food! The service was great, it was surprisingly very loud and rowdy for a Friday night (lots of large parties inside). But it was a great time, highly recommend!
Family came into town, and I had been wanting to try this place for a while. It was fantastic! Meat was well seasoned and cooked to each of our likings. Dips and salads were excellent, and I was happy to snag a table as it is small and Intimate inside. Loved it and will be going back!
Great experience and very accommodating for a large group.
Food is always great
Great dinner at apricot stone. We just moved to the area and the hostess was kind enough to give us directions to buy a bottle of wine before our dinner. All the food was excellent!
Friendly staff Good food. .
Good experience . Till next time
Extraordinary, as always! This restaurant is excellent in every way: great and unusual food, friendly welcoming service, and more than reasonable prices. Someplace to visit often!!
Our favorite place!!!
The food is 5-star and the prices are budget!!! Great find and have told many people about what a great dining experience we had here. Half the people said they are going to try it and the other half said they already know and love the restaurant.
Apricot stone has great food...great service. thank you!!!
Apricot Stone is the quintessential Armenian restaurant. The service and food are outstanding. Nice gem in Philly.
Delicious food! The server was very nice and quick.
Food was excellent, servers were friendly and responsive
Delicious and homey with a wonderful owner!
Delicious traditional Armenian food. Excellent flavors. Everything was cooked perfectly. We loved it and will be back.
The place is plain-Jane, packed (on a Saturday night--reservations are a must), and noisy, but the food is superb, at great value. It's BYOB--and one of the waitresses kindly chased my husband down the street to make sure he could find the nearest wine-seller. In addition, since it had started raining heavily while we were eating, the owner actually gave us an umbrella that had been abandoned by a previous customer. What a nice guy! We plan to return the next time we're in Philadelphia.
The menu at Apricot Stone May look like the familiar Greek menu. However the food just tastes so much better due to the seasonings. The mezzo plates are all fantastic. The large plates all include a choice of sides. I chose the eggplant with tomatoes. It was the best eggplant ever.
I love this place. It’s small, the menu is simple, and everything is so unbelievably delicious.
The best falafel and stuffed grape leaves in the city, bar none. The dips are fantastic and the meat is always cooked and seasoned perfectly. The place is BYO which rocks, and they always treat you like family.
Love love love it here
Great food. Great service. Cheese boregs are a must as well as the lamb kebab.
This is my favorite restaurant in Philly hands down. I have visited this restaurant countless times to dine in and order takeout and delivery. All I have to say is, they are reasonably priced, consistent, and always put the customer first. This is a family owned business where they really put their heart and soul into their delicious food and giving customers a positive experience. I will keep coming here over and over!
We had a very fun experience. Weather allowed sitting outside (highly recommend) which led to a fun, festive atmosphere. The owner made sure we had what we needed, checking in appropriately and not intrusively, sharing stories of menu dishes he had in childhood and his mom cooking everything for the restaurant. We both had the mixed plate - the lamb was outstanding and my boyfriend loved the chicken and filet. Definitely get the coffee - hot, rich and delicious. Love that it is a BYOB as well. Overall, a great value and fun dining experience.
