   We dined at, The Appleyard, in Sidcup, for the first time, and it was a very enjoyable experience. We shared an appetiser which was the Berenjena Fritas, which is fried Aubergine, Goats Cheese and honey served in a similar form to Arancini. Mains were all of substantial portions. One of my guests had a Sirloin Steak, which was cooked to his personal choice, perfectly. The food was served hot too, but not on heated crockery. The waiting service was attentive, but not rushed or over zealous. Adequate time was provided until we were ready to order. The wine was nicely chilled and served on time too. We arrived on a Friday evening at, 19:30pm, and the restaurant was quiet. By 20:30pm, it was very busy, and the evening continued with a steady stream of diners. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with an unusual array of different wines and ports on display for sale, in the entrance, by the bottle, which was a very thoughtful and inventive feature. I shall definitely be returning in the near future and highly recommend a visit. Thank you for your attentive floor service and excellent fayre.

   Had a delious Saturday brunch... Food was amazing... Wine and the cocktails were fabulous. Would definitely recommend

   We absolutely love the bar area and tapas and Rose Pinot Blush for £24 is just fab x

   Food, cocktails and service all top notch. Tapas are really good and very authentic.

   Was a`really lovely experience with great food and drinks. Went there for a catch up dinner with a friend and the atmosphere was really lovely. Would recommend to those meeting up with friends or even a date night. Would certainly revisit again.

   Very busy, but staff were excellent. The tapas menu was reduced from what we had before, but still excellent quality.

   Lovely evening. Nice to see local restaurant busy. The tapas menu is very good and we had most of them between 3 of us washed down by a nice bottle of red wine. Live music was a bonus we were not expecting. Will come again.

   Presentation is key and the presentation was not great although the food tasted lovely apart from the churros which were so greasy! And the chocolate sauce so watery. Wine not great either Staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable but restaurant is a bit cramped and staff kept knocking my husbands chair on the way past every time Lovely ambience and decor

    Superb food and excellent service. My favourite local restaurant is always consistent. Small gripe; we were looking forward to oysters and they had none left at 2pm. The unique Spanish style sea bass roast is always so tasty. Nice ambience, authentic style restaurant :-)
