About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Good for special occasions
  • Good for business meals
This second restaurant from acclaimed chef Stephen Gillanders does not disappoint. At Apolonia, Gillanders skillfully explores the rich flavors of the Mediterranean with the same creative flair so many have come to love at S.K.Y., proving that all good things are worth the wait.

Last time we went the food was GREAT. I’m not sure what happened this time but the chicken was fatty, i had a crunch in my mussel toast and it tasted fishy. Was super sad about this! I think something was off. The manager tried to accommodate us, Kevin was appreciated and the drinks weee good. We only had one bad run in with a host who took our dessert menus off the table before we could order another dessert and gave it to another table. Not a great look. Again, had a FANTASTIC time the first time. Really sad about this experience

Apolonia never disappoints. The menu is creative and straightforward. All the food is interesting and are things you are unlikely to find anywhere else. Our Server, Jane, was excellent, but ALL the staff treat guests in a very engaging and interested way. The cocktails were creative and interesting. The wine list short and approachable.

Gorgeous venue with windows looking out on the busy corner to watch the world go by. Food was outstanding, service very attentive and suggestions were spot on.

Sunday brunch. Easy entry. Wide open and inviting space. Excellent and attentive but not intrusive service. We came for Tatum Sinclair’s pastry and were overwhelmed with the fantastic flavors. Get the brunch pastry tray. The famous truffle puff bread. The polenta. Enjoy.
