   Perfect location at a nice small cosy square. Very tasteful food and if you are struggling to understand the various dishes, the staff is happily available to explain. Limited choices of wine (if you want something else than the usual beers and cocktails......). Pricesa bit above average but for sure value for money!

   Apoala makes good food. Period. They try to invent something new. in my opinion a little too complicated but the quality of the ingredients are good. The staff is friendly and serviceminded. We sat outside the square and there was a local singer and lots of locals enjoying the music and of course some tourists. I don’t know if there is always music.

   El lugar en la plaza está muy bonito, la comida es espectacular, aunque quizá sea bueno capacitar mejor a quienes atienden, porque les falta más encanto. Pero el sabor de la comida compensa cualquier otra cosa.

   Our whole party became seriously ill after eating here last night. There was obviously a problem with the hygiene of the food prepared or cleaning of the dishes.

   Shrimp ceviche was excellent as was the service! The baked corn tortillas were not to my taste.

    Lovely atmosphere sitting and eating in Santa Lucia Park. The food was delicious and service attentive. We definitely enjoyed Yucatan specialties in Mérida. But, it was great to try the moles and flavors of Oaxaca.
