Service was prompt but not very efficient. Food was delicious with good presentation as well. We'd definitely return.
The food was very good. the service was not so good.
Wonderful place to dine. Excellent service and delicious food.
We ate at Anzu for my birthday and to attend the Eva Noblezada concert at Feinstein’s. The food was incredible! I had the 72 hour short rib and a salad and my husband had the Yakisoba noodles and a Caesar salad. It was all delicious and perfect!
Terrific place and will always go there when attending Feinsten's
la atención excelente el lugar es agradable con magnifico ambiente y su limpieza impecable sus platos es un homenaje al sentido
Great service and outstanding food.
I recommend to try Anzu.
Pricey for proportion, but excellent in presentation and taste.
5 star service is rare but this restaurant has achieved it! Our servers were pleasant and attentive.
Great food and service, we would go back again.
We dined at Anzu prior to a show at Feinstein’s, also located in the Hotel Nikko. We’ve been to Feinstein’s a number of times before, but this was our first time staying in SF for the weekend. Delicious meal, divinely understated service….and fantastic show featuring vocalist Lillian White.
Great food and good service. Staff were attentive. A lovely dining experience.
If you have tickets at Feinstein’s, make a dinner reservation at Anzu. Outstanding!
Or, stay at the beautiful Hotel Nikko and dine at Anzu.
A wonderful night--our 46th anniversary! Fabulous food and service. Combine with a trip to Feinstein's cabaret downstairs!

Amazing customer service!
Deepak was a phenomenal waiter! Our only complaint is a table of very loud women sat down next to us and hard to do a conversation. Otherwise all the food was exceptional; best Caesar salad ever; those short ribs magificent; and great gelato. We will be back
Nice but a little pricey but for a special occasion worth it.
Our server, Deepak, and the entire staff hustled to get almost the entire dining room through dinner and into Feinstein’s downstairs for the 8:00pm show. Bravo to everyone! Excellent service and tasty food. We will be back.
I’ve dined at Anzu many times. The service is always great but tonight the food was not up to par.
The food is better than a normal hotel restaurant, and the service was great.
The staff were very welcoming, and the ambience very nice. However, the food, while delicious, did not seem to merit the price. I've had much better sushi and filet mignon.
Beautiful spot for dinner before a show at Feinstein’s. Delicious rolls and great entrees. Also, a good cocktail, spirit, beer and wine list.
Lovely place. Sushi roll and
was hoping for japanese breakfast options, was quite disappointed to have none available
A terrific dining and show combination. The Feinstein room offers quality entertainment.
We always dine at Anzu before a show at Feinstein’s.
The food never disappoints!
The food was pretty good with the beef appetizer the most interesting.
The restaurant was lovely, food great and we totally enjoyed our Father’s Day for 6.
Anzu is an underrated gem. Great food and service at a decent price point.
A good pre-show venue for Feinstein’s lounge.
Relaxed dining & smart location before a very entertaining cabaret evening 1 floor below. All well-trained employees were polite, efficient & sincere.
We were celebrating a birthday by having dinner and seeing a show at Feinstein’s. Overall the dining experience was perfect from the appetizers to entrees: service was attentive without being overly fussy.
Especially appreciated the 20% discount as a perk for attending the show! We will return for future visit!
Thanks to Erik & Randy!
I was hoping for more Japanese type or unusual menu choices. There were three slightly unusual items. I had the avocado toast with soft boiled egg and pork belly. The toast was cold. There was only one egg and the pork belly serving was miserly. Someone else had mochi waffles. They looked good. Someone else had the omelette. It looked good too. But at this price, I expected something amazing. There was a pianist playing an electric piano. He was OK. I'm a pianist and my whole family are musicians. I was also hoping for a better pianist. I wouldn't steer people away. But I probably won't go back because there are so many restaurants in SF. I'll try a new place next time. I would neither recommend this place to a friend nor would I tell them not to go. It's meh. The service was superb and impeccable.
Always Excellent service & quality food and preparation
We started with a couple cocktails and Rock Wagu Beef appetizer,,which was served tableside and we got to cook the beef to our preference on the sizzling hot stone. It came with spices, salt and 3 sauces to dip the beef in. It is pricey but perfect for a date night!
We then had garlic noodles with shrimp and chicken with citrus sauce and grilled carrots. The food was excellent as was the service!
Went out for a date after a long time. The food was good, but there isn’t a big menu to choose from. It’s a typical hotel restaurant
This was our first experience...let me start by stating that the food is quite good. Quality of ingredients, presentation and flavor/taste all receive high marks. It was reminiscent of my past visits to Japan and this was a pleasant surprise. Service was solid and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of patrons who seemed to fall into 2 predominant categories...guests of the hotel and participants who were having dinner before moving onto a live floor show that is held on property. We were probably the only couple that didn't fit either profile. The one notable detraction was that interior design of the restaurant looked as though it had not been updated since the Nikko hotel's 1987 opening. While well maintained, it is a tired, bland design that would really benefit from a refresh. That said, we will definitely be coming back.
The food was very good and the staff was friendly. They were conscientious to bring our meals quickly as we were attending a show and needed to be out in time to be seated.
