I no longer live in Boston so while on a recent visit I went to Antonio’s and ordered the eggplant parm. It is the best that I ever have had. Still so delicious. Sauce is perfect and the eggplant tender. The cheese is hot and melty. Whenever I return to Boston I always visit Antonio’s. A little gem of a restaurant.

We have never been disappointed with the food or service at Antonios and continue to introduce friends to the restaurant. Last night there was a huge party (2 long tables) and it was incredibly loud. I don't know if there is anything that you can do to limit the size of a party but it was extremely difficult to have a conversation with the other 3 guests are our table.

We went to Antonio’s to celebrate my husband’s birthday with our whole family. They were very accommodating when we had an extra person added to our party last minute. The waiter and wait staff were very attentive, especially since we have a couple of people in our party with food allergies. The food was AMAZING as always. I would highly recommend Antonio’s for an authentic Italian meal and you might even get a great story of their heritage from one of the wait staff!

Was recommended by a friend and it was an outstanding experience. We had the lobster ravioli, shrimp and scallop special, and the chicken & sausage. One of my guests declared the chicken and sausage may be the best dish he has ever had. It had a wonderfully unique light sauce. We started with the mussels in a slightly spicey red sauce. Mussels were done perfectly but plan to ask for more bread to soak up all that beautiful sauce. The service made it all come together.

A return visit both to Boston (appointments at MGH) and Antonio’s. The restaurant is within a brief walk from our hotel so, on a cold, dreary May evening, it was a no-brainer to grab supper there. The food is good, hearty traditional-ish Italian cuisine with HUGE portions. Extremely busy with a large party of about 12 people seated at tables pushed together in the middle of the space, making it a challenge to maneuver around them. I ordered the Caprese salad and the appetizer white sauce mussels. They mistakenly brought the main course size of the mussels and offered to only charge me for the starter (which they followed through on). Dessert was a decadent chocolate mousse. The only negative issue occurred with the timing of the dishes. Everything was brought to our table (except for the dessert) no more than 10 minutes after placing the order and our entire experience dining there finished approximately 35-40 minutes later. Disappointing that the food was so rushed but the quality and value somewhat made up for that.
