Food was fair at best. Nothing special about the food but the service was nice. They have folding tables which is strange for an “upscale” restaurant. I would not recommend or ever feel the need to return

We arrived for my birthday brunch and discovered that brunch is only on the weekends, so lunch it was! The Oysters Rockefeller were a touch salty, but the bacon salad with buttermilk dressing was delish! The $18 bottomless mimosas were an outstanding deal, and Jason was such a highlight! He gave us so many insider tips for the city, and sent us off with to-go mimosas. Such a fabulous time!

Both the good and service were pretty good, but not the best we experienced while in New Orleans. Chicken was dry and salty. Salad was missing some ingredients listed in the menu. Bread pudding was tasty though a bit small.

We went for the Jazz Brunch. Not the same experience as we have had in the past. They attempted to rush us through the entire process from ordering to dessert. Service was good but not excellent as usual. The band ignored our table throughout the meal.

Lovely Sunday Jazz Brunch in New Orleans! The waitstaff was wonderful, very attentive and called us by name. The food was delicious (especially the bread pudding we had for dessert) and the jazz trio was entertaining and not too loud. I highly recommend Antoine's!

Save your money. This was a night we were looking forward to but it just did not deliver. Dining room we sat in was far from upscale. The food was bland and unimaginative. The service was ok, but again nothing special at all. Meh. Seemed like a tourist trap. We do not mind spending money for great food, great service and atmosphere-but this definitely was not that.

Run! Antoine’s has been in business since 1899, but I think they are now surviving only on their name because the food we were served was inedible. We started with their famous Oysters Rockefeller with a recipe that they have been using since 1899. I believe they may have found some of the original sauce and dumped it on our oysters. Imagine throwing garlic into apple cider vinegar and then adding something green before blending it and dumping it on oysters. We couldn’t eat it. The next dish was Oysters Foch. This was a dish of lightly fried oysters with crostini and Foie Gras. When it arrived, the oysters were fried so hard they looked like bits of gravel. They were as hard as gravel. There was no Foie Gras or crostini. Instead there was something resembling brown sludge covering some of the hard oyster knots. We couldn’t determine what it was, but it was inedible. We tried several other options. We were hungry. All of it was inedible. The bread was even stale. The manager came by, but he did nothing. The bill was several hundred dollars, which I paid in order to get out of there fast. So, go to New Orleans. Enjoy the city and, if you find yourself on St Louis Street, run past Antoine’s and try some of the other restaurants on the street because this one is BAD. It’s sad to see the slow death of such a legendary restaurant, but I’m afraid this one can’t be saved.

Hostess indifferent. Waiter borderline rude. Shrimp creole sent back because not even warm. And when received, sauce tasted like out of a can. Fried onions on top of creole sent back twice because not warm and crust congealed. Asparagus undercooked, but didn’t complain. Creamed spinach tasteless. House wine was good. Service rushed—food received less than 5 minutes of ordering. Visiting from out of town, thought this would be a lovely experience in grand old restaurant. What a mistake. Mass tourist trap. Waste of time and money.

The service was really bad. Unfortunately for our waitress who I thought was great when she was at our table., they had her pulled away to another room for a private party, and we received very little attention. I had the pork chops which were very good. We ordered baked Alaska, which is no longer baked! They didn’t flambé it. Therefore, there was no alcohol poured on the baked Alaska. A major disappointment not only in presentation, but iin taste. The last half hour we were in the restaurant we had no drinks at all. I finally had to get up and go look for my waitress so I could get the ticket and leave.

I came here for my sister's birthday in 2015 and it was fantastic. This time I didn't finish any of the food, didn't even stick around to get the entree. Truly, it has seen better times. Still one of the most beautiful restaurants I've been to, I'd recommend to do the jazz brunch instead (eggs are hard to mess up) if you want to see the inside, they have a million old photographs and the staff (though they seem young and inexperienced) is all very nice. This is the best food city in the country imo, there are a lot of other places to go to instead. After leaving before dinner we had an amazing crab cake at Mr. B's just down the road.

This place is seriously overrated. Food was poor. The ambience was stuck in the mid-70s, tacky mid-70s. I scarcely had the same waiter come to the table twice probably had eight or nine different servers none of whom seems to know what they were doing. Place was medically busy and generally full of itself despite the overall poor quality of everything. It has definitely been coasting on its reputation for a very very long time.

We had been recommended to try Antione’s by a couple from New Orleans. The food was very poor. We ordered a salad to share - supposed to have egg and goats cheese. There was no egg and the barest crumble of goats cheese. We were given a roll between us and when we asked for butter we were told they had run out. We went for the bottomless wine deal and were told after 2 glasses that they had run out of the Whispering Angel Rose. We complained and the head waiter miraculously found another bottle. We felt they were trying to pull a fast one. We both had shrimp gumbo which was adequate, but nothing to rave about. Dessert was a caramel bread pudding but was very stodgy and unappetising. They did by way of apology provide an extra dessert but I didn’t want this and they took some money off the bill. However, it was overpriced and very underwhelming so I would not recommend!

We were excited, hearing about the history of the restaurant, but were let down. Let’s start with that the service was not good… we were not even greeted for several minutes and not until the next table was sat and greeted. The food was good but nothing to write home about. I felt we could have received equally as good of food for less money elsewhere. Then, the servers forgot one of our side altogether. When we asked them to remove there charge from our bill, they charged us the whole price and just brought us out a “free” dessert that we didn’t want. Don’t think I’ll recommend this stop unfortunately

Overall great restaurant! Food was good quality lead waiter was knowledgeable but treated us as if we were not worthy. Support server was very helpful and attentive not because he had to but because how lead server was less than attentive to our table. We waited 35 min between appetizer and main course. Main course was luke warm (fish and pork dishes are not served best at room temperature) had to ask for dessert to go as we were already seated for lunch at 2 hours. Treat the front of house as you do the back red rooms. You never know who you are serving.
