From start to finish this felt like being spoiled by people who care about spoiling you. We were ushered into the bar area to wait, kids were offered free sweet tea (our drinks were a little less anodyne but a whole lot of yummy). The meal was perfect. Everyone loved what they ordered and the shrimp and grits were perfection. The complimentary dessert was an unexpected but well appreciated tour de force. 10 out of 10, Antoine's. Coming back in May.

Love everything about Antoine’s! The food was divine, the milk punch was out of this world delicious and the service impeccable! We were never rushed and always accommodated! A fabulous experience! Also enjoyed the unexpected bonus of looking at the exhibits that are truly historic and amazing! Wow! The jazz musicians were good. They seemed to do more roaming than actually performing for the jazz brunch. Nevertheless, the Antoine’s experience is extraordinary. Highly recommend!

I felt like I was back when the restaurant first opened up in 1842. The disrespect our maitre de (white) showed our assistant waiter (black) made me feel disgusted inside. His attitude ruined the ambience, the food, as well as the day for my entire party! Never again would I ever step foot in this discriminating, racist establishment.

A family get together at this iconic restaurant in NOLA. As always, the service was impeccable; no one could have better service than at Antoine’s! The grilled and fried oysters were marvelous but the gumbo, which is usually top notch, was a bit off. A lovely fun restaurant in the heart of the city.

Food was okay. I expected it to be more flavorful. The service was terrible. The server forgot our drink order twice. When serving our dessert she slopped it onto our plates and caused a huge mess on the table cloth across the whole table. I would not go back.

Awful. We wished we would have picked another place to have our final dinner in New Orleans. Food tasted good but came out warm at best. Waiter was too busy to attend to tables. Didn't even check up on us or let us order wine with dinner! He set up our dessert plates and walked away before we could ask for coffee which took the helper 4 trips to the kitchen!

We had an excellent dinner at Antoines’s last night. Oyster appetizer, signature salad, filet au vin, and cheesecake and pecan bread pudding. All were wonderful. Our servers were young men. They were gracious, friendly, fun and professional. Added to a wonderful night. It was my daughter’s 25th birthday. The waiters sang to her and didn’t charge us for her dessert. A special and appreciated touch. Antoine’s is a must experience in New Orleans. Our visit to this special city and special restaurant. Hopefully not our last.

Noise level was through the roof! There were ladies on brunch I’m assuming loud and obnoxious along with them were others! Hostesses were pleasant and nice, server was horrible took forever to greet the table we went through bread and 2 glasses of water before being greeted. When he came the overall interaction wasn’t good. The food, them potato things needs to be removed from the menu absolutely horrible the sauce was not good, they were overdone which caused a bad after taste and burned your chest. The Oysters were bad except the chargrilled ones, the Rockefeller ones color alone was off putting. The gumbo was decent, the burger that we ordered was a regular cheese burger it doesn’t have what was advertised, no onions, Gouda or nothing. I was excited for this lunch considering it’s my husband’s birthday but it was extremely horrible I have never been to a restaurant and not tip but there’s no way I could’ve tipped

e were so disappointed by the food - not subtle, not very good- and by the slow/ not so smooth pace of the dinner. And although our waiters were attentive and kind, it seemed that the kitchen couldn't keep up with the high demands of a humongous restaurant. We were sitting next to the kitchen doors and that Wes not restful! Antoine also needs to expand it's Paley of mocktails - there is more than apple juices!- and alcoholic beers - to make a look at Athletic beers. Overall not a great experience.

It was very rushed. Not what you expect for the price of the dinner! Waiter bringing the drinks out, was very confused to what table they went to. Also we wanted rice instead of potatoes. They brought potatoes. So she then brought rice out set on the table and then said this is very over cooked! It was mush!!! Why bring it...

Such a disappointment. We were hoping for an outstanding evening at New Orleans' 183-year-old restaurant icon. But for us, Antoine's food was shockingly mediocre and served by inattentive staff, despite the restaurant's history and its expensive menu. A basic cocktail -- gin and tonic -- arrived containing 7-Up or Sprite, not tonic water. Once we caught his attention and insisted that g&t should not taste so sweet, our waiter sent it back for a second try. The new drink indeed was made with tonic, but I'm not sure it was crafted with any gin. Two of us had the dish featuring pompano, rice and asparagus. The thin filet of pompano was overcooked, as were the sad few stalks of withered asparagus hidden under the fish. There was no seafood in the seafood gumbo, only broth (and not very good broth) with a spoonful of white rice. Lamb chops with "mint jus" were dry and tough. It was fun to share the Baked Alaska dessert--an ice cream and cake concoction covered in meringue and oven-browned. Though he didn't invent the recipe, the original Chef Antoine in 1867 began calling the dessert Baked Alaska, referring to the United States' purchase of Alaska from Russia that year. The nickname stuck. Still, a tasty spoonful or two of Baked Alaska doesn't make up for a poor dining experience at top dollar.

Antoine’s has changed since COVID. The service and ambiance is still top notch; but the food that was once top of the line is no longer in my option. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits was very bland with absolutely no flavor at all. The fish almondine could have been served in any of the restaurants in Nola. Nothing about our meal stood out as exceptional.

If you are in New Orleans you have to go here! The jazz brunch was phenomenal. The service was amazing. Murphy and Meagan were so attentive, we didn’t have to ask or wait for anything. They were both so friendly and personable too! Else asked for additional sides that weren’t on the menu and they accommodated us without question. The food was outstanding, and the fresh baked bread is to die for. Murphy’s tableside coffee service is a must have! I will be back again.
