Antoine's Restaurant has set the standard making New Orleans one of the greatest dining destinations in the world. Antoine Alciatore was the first to serve visitors such New Orleans culinary treasures as Crawfish Cardinal and Shrimp Remoulade.
His descendants, now fifth generation, continue the process. His son, Jules, created such unique offerings as Oyster Bienville, Foch, and Rockefeller. Invented here, and only here is the original Oyster Rockefeller served, still a secret family recipe. Come and experience the culinary delights that have made Antoine's Restaurant a living history.

9/19/19 ambiance was nice....the restaurant is a lot larger than it appears when you first walk in. service was excellent & helpful and we did not feel rushed, as in other local historical restaurants. Food was unique and had great flavor with large portions. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Excellent service, scrumptious food, and great atmosphere.
We thought that perhaps it was an old institution riding on its history of greatness and perhaps it's reputation somewhat tarnished due to over-tourism. Absolutely not! It exceeded our expectations by far. Thank you to Eddie and his team. We ordered everything they recommended and couldn't have been happier!
House oysters were great.(house red sauce) The baked Alaska is overrated. 2 mixed drinks steak and drum with crabmeat. Total w/tip $191.00
Best filet mignon ever. Many waiters have been there many years. They’re very knowledgeable regarding history of Antoine’s. We got married in the Capital room on Valentines Day 1997. Country singer Billy Dean spoke up when the justice of the peace asked if anyone objected. He sang 2 songs for us. This visit they allowed us to go upstairs and look around and take pictures since we never received any from the wedding almost 23 years ago! It shook our memories back from 1997. The staff was wonderful! The food was outstanding!
Decent but not worth the price. Worth the visit if you’re into iconic restaurants.
Our server Sterling Armour was so attentive. Ask for a tour! We had the lunch special $20.99 and 25 cent drinks! Fabulous history and service.
Been there twice both time super service (Chuck 👍) .
A must egen you are in nola
Food was overdone, seemed like it was sitting under a heat lamp. Oyster Rockefeller a disappointment. Soft shell crab over fried, little meat left.
Main dish, Entrée, was served before soup was served... Unbelievable...
Food quality is mediocre to poor despite high cost. We were charged for soup that we did not order but our server insisted we try. Just not a very enjoyable evening but quite expensive. The place seems geared to fleece starry- eyed tourists. Best to look elsewhere.
First time visiting New Orleans with friends.
We were there for Brunch, being an old classic restaurant didn’t expect a Trio to be a loud fan favorite beer hall band! Seemed out of place for the restaurant.
Fantastic! Ricky Blount was our server and he was awesome!
The live music could've been lower. We couldn't discuss ordering our food.
the food was below average, but the waiter and all the attentions were good
We had an excellent experience at Antoines! The food and service was amazing! Such a wonderful New Orleans staple!
Fantastic dinner with great food and service.
Fish was good not great. Expensive for the value. Service was a bit surgical. Probably will not return.
First visit to this historic and storied restaurant. Wonderful in all regards, but having Chuck take care of us made the event unforgettable! His recommendations were spot-on. And don’t forget to look around at the wine cellar and private dining rooms... Dress well, and eat well at Antoine’s!
We had such a great evening, such a lovely way to spend the last evening of our honeymoon. Our waiter Gregory was so attentive and made sure we were taken care of and when he heard it was our last night in New Orleans he gifted us some Antoine’s stationary and dated them so we would remember our visit.
We shared the chateaubriand, it was cooked to perfection....we still talk about how delicious it was!
Antoine’s is a must visit if you’re in New Orleans!!
We were seated in the Mystery room. The waitress seemed a little annoyed, first with us, or so I thought. It turned out, she was training another waiter, which appeared to be the cause of her frustration. She warmed up to us by the end of the dinner, but it was clear she was not happy with her trainee. The food was fantastic. We would definitely be back next time we visit.
We had the escargot in garlic butter and crab au gratin to start. Both dishes needed to be seasoned. The restaurant is large and it felt like they were mass producing these dishes. We then had the filet for two for dinner. It came out with a nice presentation but when our waitress cut into it to slice it, it was well done and we ordered it med rare. I expect much more from a $120 steak. They made it up by bringing complimentary gumbo and gator soup while we waited. The gator soup was the highlight of our meal! We will not be back.
Fun experience as always. Food was great. Only issue is parking. $30 at Omni. Ouch!
Sorry I expected more the food was subpar but servers wonderful
We had a fabulous time. The food was perfectly prepared, the staff were amazing and we loved the tour after our meal. Antoine’s is a very special place.
A great staycation evening with the restaurant deal. Otherwise wouldn't have been able to afford it. It was really nice.
Eddie was our waiter, and he along with everyone else did a spectacular job. It was an experience as much as a meal. All the food was excellent. Thank you so much for this historic fine dining experience.
Absolutely delightful! Everyone was very kind, too!
Our waiter was excellent. We actually had two people take care of us and they are friendly. We had a special moment when our waiter told us that the gentlemen at the next table wanted to share their baked Alaskan because it was too much for them. We were extremely happy because we had thought about ordering the same item. However, we knew it would be more than we needed. We was delicious & we had a nice conversation with the gentlemen.
Food was good. Service was great. Would come again
I have been coming here for several years but this time I got to introduce several women to Antoine’s! They loved everything from the moment they walked in! For our little bachelorette party it was the perfect start to a beautiful evening!
While the food was good it was not great. I have had much better onion soup at other establishments. I had crab au gratin as an entree. Again good but not special. The building, the ambiance and the service is impeccable. A great experience overall.
There were eight of us that had lunch at Antoine’s during restaurant week. Food was delicious. I had the pork medallions which was very good however the very best dish that we tried was the salmon Sinclair. Everyone agreed that the salmon was awesome. I enjoyed the spinach salad. For dessert we enjoyed the pecan bread pudding it was amazing. I wish I could remember our waitresses name she was so good. She invited us to have a tour of the restaurant after our lunch and it was well worth our time. The wine cellar is huge. It was a very memorable lunch. I would encourage you to try Antoine’s you won’t be disappointed.
It was amazing and the service was the best bar none!!!
My family has been enjoying Antoine's since 1943 when my newlywed parents first dined there. My husband and I have been visiting NOLA almost every year for over 20 years and make sure we have a meal at Antoine's. It never disappoints in quality of food or service. It is an elegant evening, but very relaxed.
Antoine’s is the best! The history, the knowledgeable and engaging wait staff, and the food are amazing (and not my first time, so I chose to return because of all the amazing characteristics!). I can not recommend Antoine’s more highly! (And if you get our waiter Boudreaux, he is absolutely fabulous! AND ALL staff are AMAZING!)
So, ours was a “business meeting” but I surprised my friend with this experience and the ambiance and wait staff made the experience even better.
I have one major regret: that I didn’t get Antoine’s famous baked Alaska for two! My second regret is that we couldn’t sample the ENTIRE menu!
The food was incredible and service was impeccable! Cannot wait to visit again!
Brian McGuire and Clayton were very attentive and had great recommendations. Pork medallions were incredible
Brothers Ryan and Bryan were efficient and friendly. Most of us had the Salmon which was perfectly cooked. The experience from start to finish was remarkable.
