Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. We had a very enjoyable experience dining outside.
Spectacular service and everything, looking forward to come back soon
fantastic middle east meets Greece, food and ambience. a must tribeca spot.
Everything was spectacular!
Beautiful restaurant! Beautiful Food! Awesome restaurant
We went on halloweeen for dinner as a group of 7. Our waitress was wonderful and the food and drinks were delicious. Would highly recommend for a date night or a group outing.
Service was good, however, the quality of food has gone down. Branzino must have been previously frozen and was tasteless and watery. We ordered a side of fingerling potatoes and received pretty much chips (thinly sliced fried potatoes). If we wanted fried food we would have ordered the French fries which were also in the menu. Baklava for dessert was not fresh, it tasted like it had been sitting on the counter for some time since the cream that came with it was hard and dry. The only food item that seems to be safe to order was the lamb shish kebob. Overall not worth over $200 for two people.
ONCE AGAIN, a PHENOMENAL MEAL with a PHENOMENAL server ( WALEED)....this review is late in coming as we dined last Friday ( 16th). This was the first time we had inside downing.. beautiful ambiance!!!!... we were fortunate to have the window table... couldn’t have asked for better treatment.. felt special.. Every dish is probably wonderful, but I can “ rave” over the “ spicy shrimp” and pasta dish. My friend had a succulent salmon preparation. An AMAZING” pink martini I had.
We love this establishment soo much, we dined at their Soho restaurant for brunch! DP. M. D.
Always yummy and amazing.
Enjoyed
Liked jazz music in background
Good experience, though I requested for a cake that never came.
We used to come to this place before and really enjoyed it.
If you are thinking to bring your toddler, please be aware the manager does not understand that a toddler needs his seat like anyone else, but instead will place him/her on a corner of the table or even worse in the middle of a passage. We booked a table counting our child and we had to squeeze her between us. Furthermore, we were seated up on the mezzanine where the noise level is pretty unbearable.
Great ambiances, decor and service. Very good food, Turkish dishes mainly on menu
The food was good, the design of the restaurant is warm but not at all related to a Turkish restaurant. This restaurant is too much noisy. You get tired after dîner and you cannot really enjoy the jazz group you cannot really hear !
My drink (dirty garage) had, for sure, wrong proportions of ingredients. I drank just a few small sips and leave there. But nobody even asked me if something were wrong. The lamburger was fine, but the bread was cold and the slice of tomatto to big.
the spicy shrimp phillo was good.
Perfect. Absolutely perfect.
My husband and I booked Antique Garage Tribeca for Valentine's Day -- it was a disaster. The restaurant had us book with a credit card in advance, so they must have had a fair idea of what numbers to expect, but the kitchen and wait staff were completely overwhelmed. There was evident confusion at the host desk when we were first arrived, but we were seated promptly. And then . . . nothing. A busboy poured water, but no one came to take either drink or food orders for more than half an hour. Our waiter was not absent from the scene -- he reappeared at intervals, giving attention to one side of his service area, but on our side, he took care of only the table adjacent and ignored us completely. After we complained, another waiter came to take our orders, but that didn't improve our experience. The menu was prix fixe, with mostly cold apps and finger desserts such as baklava. That meant that all the kitchen really had to take care of was entrees. We got our apps in a timely fashion, but then, once again . . . nothing. From the time our first plates were taken away to the time our entrees arrived was a good 75 mins. Our waiter showed up about 20 mins in to say that the kitchen was behind because of our order of lamb chops. My husband and I discussed how that didn't make sense because of the cook time involved, and he predicted that when the dish arrived, it would be cold. I thought that if the kitchen was behind, that couldn't possibly happen. We waited so long that the table adjacent started making jokes about it. The lady got up to go to the bathroom and said she'd bring our entrees on her return, but you guessed it -- she got back long before our entrees arrived, which, when they finally did, were in fact stone cold. It was a shame because the quality of the food was decent, and we started out enjoying the ambiance of the restaurant. But we will never return. The restaurant made no attempt to make amends -- after all that, not even a glass of wine was comp'd.
Had a wonderful Valentine's at this place.
Awesome food and service as usual. Sorry our friend are poor tippers :/
We loved this restaurant. The food was great, the ambiance was perfect. The service was perfect. It was a really wonderful experience overall. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
I go to for every occasion. The food and staff are always exceptional!
Food was over priced for what was served. At least I think so. Everything else was perfect. Will absolutely return.
The food was really excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We were able to Caryonah conversation in this nice quiet restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Live jazz band and great lamb!
We always thought of Antique Garage Soho as our local goto for Turkish/Mediterranean food, but they made it really local when they opened a second branch on our block in TriBeCa. As usual, food was good, fresh tasting starters (taramasalata was finally back on the menu after a near year's hiatus) and perfectly cooked meats and fish for the entrees. A well priced bottle of Gigondas rounded off a really great meal, complemented by some great live jazz which was never too intrusive. Keep doing what you do.
Fantastic - had our company holiday party here at the bid square table - was perfect!
Simply amazing food!
They said I was a no show but we were there
I celebrated my birthday here. Our party of six was seated in the room downstairs. At first i was bummed because there weren’t any pretty chandeliers downstairs, but i changed my mind as i began to enjoy the ambience when i saw beautiful lush, burgundy velvet curtains, romantic light fixtures on the walls, tall fire lit candles on every table, and one talented man playing good jazz music with a beautiful vintage style guitar. The downstairs portion of the restaurant looks a bit like a 1930’s romantic speakeasy bar (until you look at the ceiling and see a small disco ball). Maybe while there aren’t dance parties taking place downstairs the disco ball could be replaced with a romantic-style inspired dim light fixture..?
Loved the beautiful fire lit candles, velvet curtains, dark wood furniture, beautiful antique cocktail glasses (ordered Little Tenderness—it was delicious), and really good live jazz by one musician, playing with a beautiful guitar. The food was delicious as well, I ordered the Beet & goat cheese salad with the Salmon skewers.
at first we were upstairs at this tiny round table, which might have been ok if there weren’t other tables right on top of us. It was way too tight for 4. They graciously moved us once a better, more comfortable table became available. The waiter brought out our salads and forgot the feta. ( the most important part of the salad). He didn’t even realize until we asked him for it. He also forgot to bring us the bread and gave it to us during our main course. The main meals were very good. The perfetta rolls had way to much chocolate sauce on them to enjoy the filling. At the end of the meal another waiter brought us our check. Our original waiter never said he was leaving, letting us know that someone else would be finishing up. Very strange!
All in all i will definitely be back, I think we just had bad service.
Super expensive, poor quality food in a cool setting. Go for the bar, not for dinner.
I booked a table for New years eve, we didn't want something too crazy. This place was certainly AWESOME! The ambiance is amazing, food was terrific and the time we had there was lovely! It may be on the higher $ side, but once we were out of there, we didn't care because it as CERTAINLY worth it!
I plan to go here once more for their yum Mediterranean food, and to-die-for ambiance!
We had a great time at Antique Garage for NYE, we were a party of 12 so we had a large table in the middle of the restaurant that was perfect for a group our size. Despite it being NYE we were never rushed and were very happy with the service for the entire night. The pre fixe menu featured a pretty large variety of options and good sized portions, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. There was also live jazz the entire night which was a great surprise. Overall we’re very happy with our night there and would definitely go back / recommend it
It’s a lovely restaurant but they should add a vegetarian option for entrees.
Warm atmosphere with jazz live performance, even though a bit far from the tables and not easy to hear. Very good food and excellent service!
The restaurant and staff were amazing and attentive to ur every need. There was a live music the night we dined so it was a bit difficult to hear the conversation at times.
Our new favorite place in the city! Food was delicious, service was outstanding, the decor so cozy and romantic! So glad we took a chance and stopped in here. Can’t wait to come back soon!
Quirky little joint with great food and atmosphere. Attentive staff, great live jazz sets a friendly, welcoming atmosphere leading up to the main event. Flavorful spice palette with good portions, definitely a place to visit again!
Music + service + food
Excellent service and ambiance! Will definitely go back!
