Atmosphere and seating were awesome. Food was delicious! A bit noisy and appetizers a little small. I ordered the calamari and I could count the number on the plate but will definitely go back!
The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, but too pricey for the kind of food you get.
We celebrated my birthday occupying a beautiful large table in the middle of the floor. It was really festive and fun, food was delicious, excellent service. Highly recommended!
The inside of the restaurant is breath taking, and the food/ drinks were all highly recommended. My only downside was the service. Overall not bad but we felt very rushed. He came over almost every 5 minutes. We had a late addition to our table and she hadn't even taken off her jacket before he rushed over and asked for her drink order. After five more minutes, again rushed back over. As much as he came over, he would rush away just as quickly making us constantly have to grab him before he ran away. Once our food hit the table, he asked if everything okay and then rushed away before I had to answer and had to call him back. When we first sat down we were one of two tables seated and he was still rushing back to us when we hadn't even read half way down the menu. As the night progressed it was busy but not overly for a Thursday. As someone was was a waitress for 8 years, this could be just inexperience on his part but it was a little much that a manger could have noticed. Also the hostess wasn't very friendly and when I asked to be seated before the rest of my party had arrived she had a bit of tude and asked if I wanted to sit at the bar instead. The restaurant was almost empty when I walked in. Food, music, atmosphere all great otherwise.
The food is so fresh and amazingly tasty. The most beautiful taste ,amount and over all ambiance was beyond our expectation. Belly dancer was amazing as she swayed and tippy toed through her ruteens. I highly recomend this place to all. The owner Utku made sure that we were very welcomed and well taken care of for the whole evening. Go there to be pampered and spoiled.
Kebabs were yum! Service was a little sporadic - although they tried.
great food and service and loved the Pink Martini. The glass was so elegant.
We were in visiting from Chicago so we enjoy the more quaint neighborhoods of New York. This place is perfect if you like a great atmosphere, healthyish food and great prices! This restaurant exceeded on all of our expectations and was an enjoyably experience. Would recommend to anyone!
We absolutely enjoyed dinner. It was my best friend’s birthday and she really enjoyed herself. The food was fabulous!
Great place for dinner with live jazz. Good service and food.
The service was outstanding! The atmosphere was perfect. The charcuterie board was disappointing, but the octopus was great. The midnight express was probably the best dessert I’ve ever tasted! My cappuccino was made perfectly. We will definitely return to Antique Garage Tribeca!
Very cool decor
Could be a little more attention to detail with the cocktails and food. This location is preferable for me to the Soho place.
The menu was somewhat limited. Hummus appetizer was delicious. Lamb kebab was good but didn’t like that it came with fries. Lamb meatballs were too spicy
Food was really good but it was extreamly slow. It took very long for our orders to arrive even when we were the only people in the restaurant. However worst wait was the desert. It took around 30-40 mins for them to arrive.
Excellent service, food and ambiance. Beautiful decor. Would recommend lamb chops and charcuterie board. Should make reservations for weekend nights.
Have researched this restaurant to be included in our weekend get away I was disappointed with our experience. The waiter had no wine knowledge & when asked to have a protein added to my dish was immediately told “No”. He told the table next to me adjusting could be done. Our food arrived lukewarm - bulgar rice cold inside. No special twist on dishes. And the waiter rushed us from the appetizer w/ dinner arriving before we chose wine. Too bad such a cool historic place. FYI- the couple next to us walked out after starting to have our same experience.
Good food, good location, nice ambiance, enjoyed very much.
The ambient of the restaurant is romantic for a date night. Food was very tasty judging from how the lamb meat didn’t have bad smell. I usually don’t eat lamb because of the smell, but the chef prepared and cooked it so well that I could eat the whole portion of beyti. Service was good. My husband and I went there on Valentine’s Day and we had pre fixe menu. It was too pricey for the amount of food we got. Overall, we would go back there again.
Ate here for Valentines Day. Fixed price menu. The positives were the ambiance created by the decor and music, live jazz trio and awesome bebop soundtrack. I would say it’s a great place to have 1, just 1 drink. I understand that restaurants have to make money off the alcohol but here the prices are way to high, $16 for a glass of wine, $20 for a cocktail. The food if not improved will doom this beautiful place. The Mediterranean menu is basic so needs to be executed well...it wasn’t. Chicken kebab with mushrooms way overdone, wife had Dorado wrapped in grape leaves which was excellent. As no vegetables came with the main we asked for a shepherds salad or some side....No can do! The menu is fixed and that’s it. So much for the customer is the focus....in fact we had to ask the bus boy who our server was after sitting for 15 minutes admiring the decor but wanting to put in a drink order. Right now this spot is great for a drink and the live music. For a meal go elsewhere.
Very nice place to hear jazz live music while eating Mediterranean food.
Incredible service, food, drinks, and live music. This is the best dinner place south of Houston Street!
Get the puff pastry appetizer, it's incredible! The environment is perfect for a date night. My wife and I loved everything about it. We will definitely be back.
Amazing decor and ambiance. Outstanding service. Delicious food. Quiet conversation before 7pm, then great live jazz band. I will definitely be back!
Food quality was very disappointing. I should have just sent my meal back.
Food was ok - service was amazing! Varied drink list and good wines.
They took credit card information and and called to confirm a New Years Eve reservation but then informed me that they gave our table away when I called within 15 minutes of the reservation to say we were running late. When we arrived they put us at a table in the basement by the kitchen. When we complained they had us sit at the bar upstairs so we could hear the main jazz band for the main course then at a table for dessert. The bill actually came before dessert. Their website said they had a jazz band which they did until 12:00 when the music changed to Turkish recordings played loud enough you couldn’t have a conversation. The service was terrible. And finally on New Years Eve the bar closed at 12:00.
Amazing place, grat atmosphere. Food is great and good jazz band
New Year’s Eve was wonderful! Terrific quartet with singer who also played the trombone. The food was delicious except for the tasteless pasta entree described by my husband. To be fair he had the very spicy shrimp appetizer first that may have dulled his tastebuds. The dorado fish wrapped in grape leaves was heavenly. Our favorite was the salad with prosciutto wrapped around warm goat cheese.
The environment is warm and old world elegant with candelabras and mirrors reflecting the candle light and beautiful chandeliers. The chef I understand is the owner and it is reflected is the attention to detail. We will definitely return to have the salad and listen to the musicians.
Amazing atmosphere and food. Live music makes the whole thing the next level!
Delish food, creative seasonings, great staff and service - Even on a hectic Christmas night! This lovely place has a warmth, with a cozy, neigborhood feel, authentic charm, unique vintage decor, plus extra nice with live music.
Very good experience
Good Meal, good service and live jazz. Always a great night!
Fun jazz ensemble was playing music in the front window alcove. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. If you like lamb, you will love this restaurant- many menu selections include lamb. My son particularly enjoyed the bulgar side dish. Also the restaurant is illuminated beautifully with cut glass chandeliers - very pretty. Generous portions!
Loved the table on the mezzanine level overlooking the whole restaurant and enjoyed the live music. Dinner for 6 managed effortlessly. A good spread of dishes enjoyed by all.
Hard to ask for more.
I love the ambiance and enjoyed the food. The decor is outstanding and kept my attention all night long. Having a jazz trio live in the restaurant was a very nice addition to the atmosphere. I will visit again.
Wonderful food and beautiful ambience and what a treat to also have a live jazz trio. Really fun evening.
I absolutely loved this place, excellent in every way with a relaxing cosy ambiance.
Everything was good and food is delicious. My only recommendation to the restaurant is that if you make a reservation weeks ahead...try to accommodate you on the first floor and leave the walk-ins to the lower floor.
Love this place! The decor, wait staff and food all surpassed my expectations!
