Antique Garage Soho
spicy grilled chopped lamb with pita bread and onion salad
grass fed organic lamb with apricot brandy reduction sauce
fusilli pasta with shrimp, squid, octopus in a tomato clam sauce
Great location & atmosphere. Mixed mezze platter was delicious, so was gourmet dessert platter & crème brûlée. Anna A is a great server, very polite & extremely efficient. AC was a bit too cold, otherwise overall experience would be 5 stars. Like the obvious midnite express film/movie connection in the desserts :-)
Cozy and delicious.
Servers were very helpful.
Food was delicious and different.
Adorable place….great vibe, but food is meh…..really small apps, hard to share, and eggs were blah. Don’t stress about your reservation time if you are hardest on going, it’s pretty empty.
was lovely! amazing service jj
Beautiful place! Food is good, but not great. Things aren’t seasoned properly so you are missing on taste. And it’s pricey to not have great food. Let’s start with salt, and move to other herbs and sauces.
Great place. Cool vibe. Nice cocktails
Great place to break up at! 10/10 experience
All great. Loved it.
Fabulous night out! The atmosphere is tops here - great music, fun, trendy vibe, friendly wait staff. The food was good - not the very best but good enough to make it a favorite spot! Feta Phyllo Dough starters are excellent!
I’ve been going to Antique Garage since they opened (I lived a block up the street for 32 years) and I was very happy to see that not only did they survive the pandemic (so very many places did not) but it’s just as beautiful, relaxing, and delicious as always. These days the prices are reasonable, the food is excellent.
A soho classic. Still great after all these years.
Our dinners were great, the atmosphere was cool, and the staff were friendly and fun.
The food was good but it stunk. Kinda messed with experience
There are not many places left of the old NY -
where a simple brunch becomes a special outing. This gem, in the heart of soho makes you fall in love with them on the first glance of music and appetizers.
Thank you for keeping the real New York city charms alive.
My 2nd time here. Kudos to the front desk staff for staying on top of the servers. We really felt welcome and well taken care of. We had come from another restaurant which was just the opposite so the warm, smiling and inviting staff was so refreshing. It was a bit pricey. The cocktails were 20$ and a glass of wine $24. Our 4person table ended up racking up a cost of 500$ incl tip which is a lot. The drinks and food were good. My branzino a little bland and luke warm but still tasty.
It has amazing food. The dessert is amazing!
always a good time when we are here. food and ambiance is nice
Date night with hubby Antique Garage did not disappoint ! From our arrival to our departure, everything was perfection. We were promptly greeted by two amazing hostesses who gladly seated us outside. Manolo our server was on point about the drinks and food recommendations. Will definitely be back.
Great food and ambience
Food, ambience and service is always superb.
Delicious food, excellent friendly prompt service. Lovely restaurant in SoHo - I will definitely be back!
The service is super weird: we had people asking us if we are ready to order every 30 seconds, no time given to settle in or just say hi to each other, and we were well within the allotted time. On top of that, the restaurant was empty, plenty of available tables, and very few walk-ins give the day of the week and time. So, I failed to understand the mad rush.
It’s overpriced, even by Soho standards. The food was good, but portions and quality do not justify that price.
Finally, if you are sitting outside - carry bug spray and there is a weird chemical smell that wafts in and out - nothing to do with the restaurant, or might have been just the time of day we went.
The friendliest and most attentive staff ever!
Maybe we just had a bad luck, but we left disappointed. Our waitress was attentive but she only came by a couple times and we had to flag her down for every possible thing (including the bill). Both my girlfriend and I had upset stomaches the next day. We are not 100% sure if it was the restaurant food but we both agreed we thought that it was one of the appetizers. Also, we paid a lot for what seemed like our most lackluster meal while in Manhattan this past week. All in all, we were fairly disappointed but maybe it was just a bad night for them.
The overall experience was disappointing. It’s very noisy, the service is slow and not very attentive particularly considering the price points. The lambs kebabs and the branzino were good.
I guess the food is the saving grace.
The food is just ok. The mezze platter was good. My girlfriend and I should have just have gotten the platter and a cocktail. The lamb kabob entre was mediocre. The service is also very slow. Our waiter left in the middle of the meal and there was no replacement. Bottom line-this is a unique looking restaurant in SOHO to see and be seen.
The one bright spot was the hostess...Josleyn? Very nice and wanted to make sure everyone was happy.
Honestly awful experience. They seemed unprepared for our reservation. The whole place smelled like garbage. Super overpriced.
Worse than I remember - slow service, subpar food, sat outside and bad trash smell
Food was great but the service could have been better.
A nice setting with very good food though a bit pricey. Could do almost as well elsewhere for about two-thirds the price but this should not detract from the excellent meal.
Horrible service, we sat for over 40 min. Before our drinks came out. But great food.
Had a nice Sunday lunch here! Great service and food!!
Amazing food and ambiance
the service was great and the food was even better! the restaurant was super cool and it was overall a great night !!
Food so whatever :( good to get drinks only i tink
Delicious food and nice vibe.
For the manti I prefer Armenian style which is baked, this one is more like a dumpling.
Love this place always excellent food standards, never lets me down.
My second time! Fell in love all over again
I was completely disappointed with our meal. I’ve eaten at AG pre covid a few times and always thoroughly enjoyed my meal but this was my first time back in a year and a half and it was a huge letdown. The food was so boring, bland and basic. The prices are absolutely outrageous for what you’re served. The appetizers were good but the entrees were a huge disappointment. We ordered the branzini, salmon and tuna. None of the fish was very fresh and it was essentially flavorless. Where’s the sauce? Where’s the spices? I don’t know who they have cooking but it was honestly no good.
The cocktails were excellent but it’s a restaurant ans not a bar, why are they charging $20 a drink? It should be $16 max. When looking for Mediterranean food, go to Barbounia, Avra or Milos instead… they all blow this away.
Beautiful restaurant with great food (especially the tuna steak). The service was amazing, our waitress Sonia was so nice and helpful!
