My son and I enjoyed our meal however despite my saying it was my son’s birthday no special offering was made such as a little treat.
We were put by the window to eat which was freezing as it opens up in the summer and insulation is therefore poor. On a cold January evening this was disappointing.
We were also squashed up against another couple which was a little embarrassing as I had to squeeze in and apologise before even being able to sit down.
We were then charged for 3 glasses of wine when we had only ordered and had 2. We spotted it on the bill and asked for it to be removed which they did but it was a shame to have to ask.
It’s a lovely decor inside but the service and spacing needs to be thought about and also I had the aubergine dish which was a special but arrived cold when it would have been so much nicer if it was hot, especially in January.
Great ambience and even better food. The seafood cerviche and branzini were a hit
Table by the garage opening was uncomfortable as there was a constant chill
Girls day out - went to Antique Garage for brunch before our show. Adorable setting and food was awesome. We had the place to ourselves since it opened at 11am and not many were out yet. Highly recommend! ☘️💚
We come here once a month or so for at least 10 years now, always good food, nice relaxed atmosphere. Prices are always a bit high for what you get, but we've never had a bad meal here so we keep coming back. I love their bread with tadziki, the shepherd's salad and grilled branzino when it is on the menu.
We had a lovely time at the restaurant. I believe our server’s name was Isaiah & he was excellent. We would definitely go back.
Great and easy going place, no pressure and no disappointments whatsoever. If they would lower the music volume i would come more often, because when you want to speak with a friend - you have to rise your voice a bit. Food is tasty and always fresh made.
Food and ambiance were great. The service was TERRIBLE. They gave us a two top inside and rushed us the entire time. Almost took my food away while I was still eating and away from my pregnant wife. I understand the need to turn tables over, but trying to push us out in less than hour seems a bit absurd. What a shame given the great food and ambiance. I have been here a couple times before and didn’t have the same issue, not sure what was happening.
Delicious food! I went home dreaming about the shrimp puff wraps and the lamb burger! I will definitely be returning.
The food was too salty. That was only thing I would say.
Went with my daughters to celebrate my wife's birthday and was really looking forward to a great Mediterranean meal. Love the decor and the ambient. Service was amateur. The food was nothing special especially for the price you pay. I am the last one to complain about the price as long as the food is worth it. This sadly was not the case, completely overpriced for the quality. I have been at many other Mediterranean restaurants that offers much better meals. Regret that I couldn't give a more enlightening review. We will not be returning.
We had a reservation and they made us wait for 35 minutes literally at the door. There were no tables available despite the reservation. The restaurant is really small, with no bar nor an area for waiting, so the only options were being at the entrance or going out under the rain. We did both during the long wait. Once we got a table, we didn’t receive even an apology. They did not managed it professionally, it was disappointing.
Had a lovely birthday brunch here early on Saturday with a group of seven. It's not a typical NYC brunch, but even the tweens in our party said the food was great, and it wasn't the typical weekend brunch madhouse atmosphere either. Lamb skewers and crispy shrimp rolls were amazing, so were the breakfast platters. The whole party agreed we'd like to come back. Service was attentive and the space is fun.
Service was perfunctory at best, food undercooked and not seasoned.
We visited Antique Garage Soho for drinks and desserts. Both were outstanding. The hostess and the waiter were extremely helpful. The ambiance was top notch.
Menu didn’t reflect options on web site. Pasta was watery and bland. Terrible service.
For a special night out, I felt the food was just ok. Presentation for the NYC area should have been much better.
Forgot to put our meal order in
Took an hour and 15 minutes after we placed our order to receive it service was substandard no communication do not recommend
Terrible service, mediocre food
The service was a little slow but overall great experience. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the decor. The portions are not as big as you might expect from a Mediterranean place but for me they're perfect size.
Classic always a good choice antique garage great spot
I went with my mother for my birthday brunch. The waitress assigned to us was horrible, she provided poor service and was dismissive towards us. I had to ask the host to take our orders. Other tables received bread and we did not. The food was lackluster and pricey. No tip was left because the experience was so bad. I informed the manager about our experience and that I would be posting this negative review due to the poor service my mother and I received.
Top notch service and food! Loved the energetic environment and depth of the menu
I love that this is my neighborhood restaurant! It’s so cool!
This place is miserable. Behind an interesting ambiance is god awful music (they actually had the audacity to play “everybody was Kung fu fighting” during our meal) that’s only competition is the bland, banal food and wine that could be called pedestrian at best and nothing but a poor imitation for anything considered Mediterranean at triple the price at worst.
Food is not good. Prices are so high for super mediocre food. Food used to be good, a bummer.
Delicious drinks. 50/50 good/issues w food. Staff clearly inexperienced (but trying)
Food, drinks, ambiance, and service was excellent.
Great spot for friends to chat
It was very nice the food was great I will definitely be returning
Waited a 40 min for our appetizers while there were only 7 tables full inside and outside. when asking the waitress where our food was she said she was bringing it all out at once. We wanted appetizers as “starters” and ordered them to begin our meal with, we were starving. Food wasn’t good but bc we sat there drinking and waiting forever we ate everything. The waitress didn’t seem to care at all about her mistake and offered no real apology. We had to have another waitress bring us our check bc ours was basically ignoring us every time we tried to get her attention. The host was the only good thing about this place.
This is one of my favorite spots in nyc… however last night wasn’t the usual wonderful experience it normally is. We were seated outside even though I requested indoors. We were told we would be fine as there was a heat lamp overhead. Once seated we realized there was no lamp over us and a cold breeze was smacking us. We asked to move to another table that was almost ready to leave. We were assured it would be no problem. When the other table was cleared we were ready to move when the host allowed another party to take it. We reminded him we were waiting to switch because I was freezing but were rudely told to stay where we were. I spent the entire meal shivering. It was my birthday! Our waiter was wonderful and the food delicious but the host really was unpleasant. I was also surprised nobody asked us for proof of vaccination. Not sure I will return until the weather warms.
Fantastic place. We will be back.
Great location & atmosphere. Mixed mezze platter was delicious, so was gourmet dessert platter & crème brûlée. Anna A is a great server, very polite & extremely efficient. AC was a bit too cold, otherwise overall experience would be 5 stars. Like the obvious midnite express film/movie connection in the desserts :-)
Cozy and delicious.
Servers were very helpful.
Food was delicious and different.
Adorable place….great vibe, but food is meh…..really small apps, hard to share, and eggs were blah. Don’t stress about your reservation time if you are hardest on going, it’s pretty empty.
was lovely! amazing service jj
Beautiful place! Food is good, but not great. Things aren’t seasoned properly so you are missing on taste. And it’s pricey to not have great food. Let’s start with salt, and move to other herbs and sauces.
Great place. Cool vibe. Nice cocktails
