   We chose Antico Nuovo for my wife’s birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The ambience is beautifully low lit and seating is close, but the conversation doesn’t spill over from the adjacent tables. We started with the house made bread with anchovies and bagna cuda, a salty delight that brought our wine to life. The pasta is the highlight here where you can do no wrong. Bone marrow with whipped potatoes is a treat and the ice cream was loaded with local honey. We will be back again and again!

   This has always been my favorite Italian restaurant, but last night the food was off, simply said there was no value for the price. The salad was over dressed and soaked. The lamb chops were shoulder cut - all bone, no meat and tough! The pasta too sweet and dry. The fish portion was miniscule and again no value for the price. Even the ice cream, my favorite, was too soft and runny and ....... the honeycomb had zero taste. I am a regular here and had brought 3 guests that had never been, we were all very disappointed in the food quality and taste.

   An absolutely delicious meal. The focaccia can't be beaten. We had it with the whipped ricotta, which was delicious. Three pastas: the ravioli, the maloreddus and the tortelli - all perfect. The chicken on focaccia is fantastic. So was the broccoli chicory caesar salad. Really, everything was great! Highest recommendation.

   Excellent food, great service, and a really pleasant ambience. I felt like I was in the chic, rustic dining room of a friend’s house and could hang out all night. Also loved their playlist, and that it was set at a good volume so I could enjoy the music without it overpowering the evening. But I will be back for the food. I could go back and eat the same meal again and be very happy, but I also want to try all the items I missed!

   Wonderful creative meal and friendly service. Pane with whipped ricotta, broccoli Caesar, roasted branzino and chicken, plus pasta special and ice cream. Every single thing was delicious and unlike dishes we have had at many other great Italian restaurants.

    Fabulous fabulous!!! My best dinner in LA. Very intimate restaurant in a residential neighborhood. Huge wine list and an interesting and diverse menu. Focaccia bread is a must get. We shared a amberjack crudo , a pasta dish and grilled lamb shoulder. Everything was outstanding. I was grateful for the bread to soak up every bit of each dish. Can’t wait to return.

    My spouse and I have dined here twice now and have nothing but great things to say about it. The food and service is fantastic. I highly recommend the focaccia with whipped ricotta and ceci verdi. The Caeser salad is perfectly balanced. We loved everything, the pastas and main courses. The ice cream is worth ordering as well.

    Everything we ordered was not only stunningly delicious but also creative. It's hard to overstate how thoughtfully things as simple as the caesar salad with broccolini and radicchio or the amberjack crudo appetizer are crafted. Absolutely excellent.

    Such a fantastic meal! Everything we ordered was perfection, from the focaccia and ricotta and anchovies, to the scallop crudo, the lemon pasta, and the squash entree - it was all so delicious. And the pistachio gelato!! Great vibe, crowded but not crazy loud. And fantastic service! Our waiter was such a pleasure, and made spot-on recommendations for both wine and food. We will for sure be back!

    Went for my (nonexistent Leap Day) birthday and food was amazing. My favorite was the tortelli. We ordered 2 bone marrows for the table and we all wished we had ordered another tortelli instead. Ambience was beautiful and would definitely go back.

    Lovely and helpful waitstaff who guided us to the right wines and amount of food. Delicious foccacia bread and choice of spreads, the tortelli with lemon and ricotta and pine nuts was wonderful, the main courses also good. Rustic and cozy, if a little bit loud as the night went on. Excellent valet as well.
