Lovely evening with good friends. everything was excellent as always, except for two things. The chocolate and ricotta budino was not on the menu (:0) and the ice creams were a little icier, and slightly less amazing than usual. We heard Chad recently had bay #2 and was not in last night. We love Antico Nuovo!

Everyone in the group proclaimed the food to be delicious, albeit pricey! Focaccia bread was amazingly fluffy, unlike more pedestrian versions. We all loved the Caesar broccolini. The pastas were intensely flavorful. The pork ribs (dusted with fennel pollen?) were excellent. And the ice cream was divine. Wines featured from all over Italy were expensive, but we found a nice Montepulciano for $80. Note: corkage fee is $50 each for the first 2 bottles, $75 per bottle after. The service was very good: attentive without being annoying.

Birthday dinner! One of my favorite meals of the year. Ricotta focaccia, broccoli Caesar, pappardelle bolognese, lamb ribs, and persimmon ice cream for dessert! Everything was great. Wine list is a little pricey, and the 4% employee add on never sits well with me. Just add it to the menu prices!

The trained, friendly staff will welcome you, guide you through the menu and assist in any way possible. My experience was great from start to finish. And the food was divine! I cautiously sampled the Duck Liver Pate- WOW, can’t wait to return for more. I’m so glad I sampled the ice cream, too. Remember to save room for that divine treat.

I’m a sucker for open kitchens (and a bigger sucker for open fire grilling). There is an elegant to this place that doesn’t overpower it’s rustic simplicity. The staff is laidback, extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and very nice (they know the right balance between being seen and not being seen). The food is full of taste. Simple. Authentic. Take your time. Pair your wines. Go with someone (or many someones) that you enjoy talking to. Enjoy.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Antico Nuovo. We sat at the counter by the open kitchen. It was roomy and lively. There was plenty of room for our food and wine in very comfortable seating. We ordered from every part of the meny and enjoyed every dish. The sommelier suggested a great wine that had some age that was affrodable. The ambience was very warm and cozy. Our server was attentive but not obtrusive. We will definitely be going regularly- because it is elevated food that is also comfort food for us. The owner and Chef is there to make sure service is running smoothly and to greet guests, in old-fashioned hospitality. It's a nice antidote to the flashy and trendy restaurants around town.

Like must menus some dishes are better than others. The pastas are magical, delicious. Proteins less so. Prices way too expensive and wine list is ridiculous, attitude is a little snooty though service overall was excellent.

Food was good, service was a bit rushed and aggressive. Attentive, but no need to drop the check in the table as dessert arrives and to pick up the signed receipt a minute after we sign and before we’ve left. It was a Sunday night with plenty of reservations and a bill near $400.

A lovely, charming space. The food was good, but not worth the expense. The portions are also a bit small, or maybe it's what I ordered, which was a tortellini dish. I think maybe there were 9 pieces of pasta. And the bread was $9! It was tasty, but not out of this world, especially considering the cost.

A double birthday celebration, I could not wait to bring my foodie birthday pal in. Absolutely thrilled to report that, once again, magnificent food, service, atmosphere, lavish attention given by the whole staff (without being ‘in your face’) and a wonderful evening. Needless to say, I’ll be back.

The ambiance was really nice here and the service was amazing. Food was pretty pricey and I don’t think it was representative of that taste of the food, essentially too expensive for the flavor. Also weird, it’s located right next to a corner liquor store and charges for valet in the liquor store parking lot. It’s very strange.

Beautiful interior, great service, and food was tasty but not incredible. The focaccia was fluffy but the dip wasn’t too flavorful; the tortelli was a nice lemon pasta but the pappardelle was quite salty, though the meat was tender. Ravioli was classic and standard. Pistachio ice cream had toffee pieces which was a great touch

The focaccia and the pastas were amazing. The meat dishes were a little dry. The wine list was very long but very expensive. $80 a bottle is the cheapest, and this is for a retail $20 bottle. I would say the prices are higher then the value. Ambience and experience was good!

Haute cuisine in an LA strip mall. Beautifully transformed space in an otherwise unremarkable strip mall, with a surprisingly fine dining experience. The food is rich and is best for sharing, they were very accommodating of our various food restrictions, including gluten-free. Loved the broccolini Caesar salad, and the homemade strawberry ice cream is one of their most amazing creations—how do they make it so flavorful?!
