Our Signature Carbonara
An Italian pasta dish from Rome, carbonara is made with egg, hard cheese, cured pork, and black pepper. This dish arrived at its modern form, with its current name, in the middle of the 20th century. We've taken this classic to a whole new level by adding the pasta to a flaming wheel of cheese and tossing it table side for a truly decadent, creamy experience
Tagliatelle Antica Sicilia
Homemade tagliatelle with mixed seafood infused with white wine & a touch of tomato sauce
Mr. Gardini, an Italian immigrant living in Mexico & the U.S. was the first to introduce Caesar salad to the world. Traditionally made with romaine lettuce and croutons, the salad is tossed in a dressing of lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, anchovies, garlic, Dijon mustard, Parmesan cheese and black pepper. While our Caesar is served with a similar homemade dressing, our presentation is remarkably different. We take locally grown romaine lettuce and toss it with our dressing and croutons
Antica is a great place and the new updates to their furniture brought it up a notch. I only sit in Claudio's section when we dine there. He is absolutely a gem and makes for a great evening. Last night he introduced us to the Chef and she offered to make us anything we'd like. This is service and this is what sets Antica apart from other restaurants in the valley. If you're looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and friendly/knowledgeable staff, then Antica should be your next stop for Italian.
A dependable restaurant; alway very good to outstanding. Nice to have available, free parking. Very pleasant inside and always great service. But, at 7:15 Friday night, very loud. Hard to talk and the background music was too loud.
Incredibly small portion for the price. $25 for a small scoop of pasta. Id rather go to a loud noisy olive garden where at least i know i wont leave hungry.
Food was amazing as always, the staff is so friendly and fun.
This is a wonderful place to eat. The owners are so welcoming and the food is excellent. We feel like family when we go.
Love this place. Great Italian food! Very authentic.
Absolutely AMAZING!! Claudio and the rest of the staff are so friendly and delightful. So glad we got to spend a special occasion with the Antica family!
always our favorite. the servers here are the best in salt lake.
A couple of dishes were good, a couple of dishes were not as good as expected. Service was fine. The price put this restaurant in the range of some places with much higher quality menus and dishes.
We came on New Years Eve for our anniversary dinner and did the 4 course plated dining experience. Well worth the money, we really enjoyed the food. The staff was also friendly and the ambiance was great. The best part was the table side cheese wheel. We will be back!
New Years menu was okay. The food that was served were not what I would have normally visited the restaurant to eat. Some of the food had really good flavor, some of it tasted like it came out of a can. I ate here two weeks ago and had a much better experience when I could order off the menu. I would not recommend booking when there is a fixed menu.
The service was fantastic, as there were only about 20 or so guests, and we all got served the same thing at the same time. The orzo carbonara was great, and the short rib was tender and cooked right. Though the flavors in the short rib and sauce was decent, not fantastic. The gnocchi tasted fresh, like hand made, but the sauce tasted like canned chili or chef boyardee. Not really a great value for $100 per person.
Whenever we are in Salt Lake we try to have an outstanding meal at Antica or Sicilia Mia, it never disappoints.
This reservation was a Christmas gift, along with a gift card, they loved it. The only issue is they were not presented with the price of the special and it was more than many of the things on the menu. If they would have known the price of the special they would have chosen another option.
This is a neighborhood gem worth discovering. The staff conveys a family feel and the pasta is amazing. You have to try the dishes prepared in a giant Parmesan wheel!
We ordered two things that ended up not being available as they ran out and then I was charged incorrectly. Our waiter Vincent was wonderful, funny, accommodating and personable. Food was yummy!
We had a fabulous meal tonight. The waiter was efficient and entertaining, the food was excellent and the ambiance of the restaurant made for an enjoyable outing. We didn’t feel crowded into a too small area. The bruschetta was the best I’ve ever had and who can forget table side carbonara!
Food is awesome, and consistently good. Very relaxed, homey feel but still elegant. Special mention to Claudio, who is just superb at what he does!
Our waiter was delightful, great service. We all thought the food was exceptional including the antipasto that we ordered. The salami and cured meats combined with the cheeses were worth coming back for. We will dine there again.
Excellent Italian, great service, and comfortable atmosphere.
The food was incredible!! We were so excited to try the drinks as well. Overall we had a great experience and will be back! However, we didn’t have the best server. He only checked on us 2 times. At the beginning of the meal and the end. We were bummed because there were some awesome servers at nearby tables that interacted a lot with other customers. So we felt as though we didn’t get the same exciting experience. But definitely recommend the food!!
Everything was great! If you are looking for a quiet
Excellent dinner and superb service from Claudio and his apprectice. We will definitely dine here again and again.
As always, the food and service were excellent. We will be back.
I ordered some Filet Mignon. It is the best filet mignon i have ever had this year. The food is authentic (chef from Sicilia) and the waiter was very warm. I liked the food a lot.
Orders were taken for drinks and appetizers . 10 minute later we received drinks. 10 minutes after that we were told the appetizers were not available. Then Entrees were ordered. 10 minutes later we were told one of the entree was not available. We left. Our last visit was similar. Antica used to be amazing. We will not be going back.
Very good. The food was outstanding and the service was just as great. We wi
Absolutely the best pasta in town. Beautiful ambience.
Great food and service
It was great! Our server was awesome, it was our first time and we will definitely come again!
really authentic Italian food, love the place
As always, the food and service were outstanding. The menu is shorter than pre-pandemic but still very substanital.
The food and service always make this a special place for a quite romantic dinner.
Wonderful food paired with exemplary service made for a memorable birthday celebration! Thank you to Claudio for such an entertaining experience and thank you to the kitchen for a delicious meal!
Our server Markus was great, but the food was not.
But the food was very bland.
The sea bass we ordered, was not worth $75 we were charged. It was the “special” branzino. The server told us it was stuffed with “all kinds” of different seafood and he mentioned shrimp.. there was absolutely NO shrimp in there. There was 4 mussels total and a few cherry tomatoes. So I don’t feel like we got what we paid for. On top of that, he said it would be completely deboned, it wasn’t. We left like half of the fish due to not being able to eat it because there was so many tiny sharp bones. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture to share of that, although I wish I did.
The appetizer had no flavor at all. We got the pulipo. Upon looking at your reviews, it looks like it usually comes with a sauce. Which I did remember reading on the menu, the beet sauce with potatoes. Maybe they changed the menu but that’s not what we were expecting based on the menu’s description and it was very bland.
Overall we just didn’t get what we were expecting based on the descriptions. I’m surprised they have so many good reviews with such bland food. But I have a feeling they just skimped us.
The off menu filet and table sear was incredible. Had a chance to thank the executive chef which was a nice touch. Our server Claudio was fantastic. All in all, a great little restaurant with a creative menu and friendly and efficient staff.
Terrific service. The food was very good and the restaurant was quiet enough to actually have a conversation.
It was great! Our server, Joel, was really attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The food was top notch as well!
The food was beyond amazing, and our waiter was kind and knowledgable!
The experience was very nice. I would eat there again. The waiter could have spent a little more time in his explanation of certain request.
