Antica Sicilia
Wonderful food!
My favorite Italian place in Utah. Delicious, authentic food. Spaghetti carbonara is to die for.
The food was tasty and up to your standards for sure. I got the special seafood dinner. It was messy and difficult to eat, however tasty, and it was a trial to keep my hands and utensils from being smeared all over by the sauce (also delicious.) I would have recommended removing the giant prawn from its shell as it was too hot to handle and too slick to operate on. Same with the Lobster which was very good but difficult to remove from the shell. I know presentation is important but the presence of the shells served no practical purpose for me in enjoying the food. My wife got the steak and everything was perfect.
Altogether, a great evening. We enjoyed the server and had a good time. We will certainly be back again. This was our second time. Thank you!
Fresh seafood, homemade pasta, well priced. Will def go back.
The food was delicious however the service was extremely slow. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and didn’t finish until after 9 p.m.
Carbonara and mushroom ravioli were probably the best I ever had. The service was exceptional! I wasn’t a big fan of the calimari, to much breading for my taste.
What a quaint little place. We loved the food. Although we stood at the door for about 15 minutes, with a reservation and a few tables, it was unexpected to wait.
Other than that, we loved it. Our server, Elvis, made phenomenal suggestions in food and wine.
We will definitely be returning.
I was melting in my chair from how tasty the food and presentation was! The service was wonderful and I can't wait to go back,
Fantastic food! Great service! My favorite restaurant in the area.
Overall our experience was amazing!! Food was incredible I’ll Beyonce was wonderful and was a great experience! I would say that our server lacked a little professionalism in the setting of that nature but all in all I would recommend this place to anyone!
Great experience! Food was perfectly prepared and presented. A bit loud, however it was a Friday night and it was packed. Make sure to make reservations!
Great food and service. Wine corking a bit pricey but thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
Great place to go for a nice long talk with friends.
Antica Sicilia was incredible! I loved the atmosphere and the service was great. We waited maybe 7 minutes for our food to come out- I couldn’t believe it! Such a fun evening with delicious food! I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back for sure!
The food was fantastic! We were there to celebrate a birthday and everyone else in the family decided this is where they want to come for their birthdays!
It was a great time and the food was awesome. The service was exceptional. Arlex (our waiter) was very funny and helpful. He had us laughing throughout the night. We will be back again soon.
I absolutely love this restaurant! It has such a great ambience, and even though I haven’t been to Italy (yet) this is the type of meal I would expect.
We love this restaurant. We took our daughter for her 19th birthday. She had the Spaghetti Carbonara, our waiter sang Happy birthday to her in Italian, what can be better?!?
Never disappointing! Food is always tasty, service is timely and attentive, though never overbearing. We were allowed to relax and enjoy the evening. We love a busy restaurant - says a lot! Our waiter on the night was Elvis (yes, he was in the building!) and he was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.
No hesitation whatsoever in recommending Antica Sicilia to anyone wanting a nice evening out without breaking the bank!
I had never been to this restaurant and wanted to take my friend out for a quiet evening as she was going through a hard time. We wanted a place we could go and enjoy delicious food, talk quietly, and not feel rushed. This was perfect! Sicilia Mia is a favorite but reservations were full so we tried this place. The menu was the same or very similar. We both got the carbonara, which is my favorite, but I was tempted to try the gnocchi. This restaurant is bigger and seemed a bit fancier. The staff was very attentive but not annoyingly so. We were able to sit for a couple hours and talk and eat and it was the perfect spot. We didn’t feel rushed. There weren’t people waiting so we felt we could stay long after our food was gone. We had a wonderful time and I will definitely e back! Probably very soon, as my kids favorite is Sicilia Mia! It will be great to have another option!
Is was a disappointing dinner experience. Being used to dine at Dolce Sicilia ( unfortunately closed) I did expect the same quality and service because it belongs to the same restaurant family. But it did not show.
The food and wine were excellent. We shared a steak (Antica Tagliata) as well as the Bolognese Gnocchi. It was more than enough food and we even had some leftovers to take home. We enjoyed this location more that Sicilia Mia.
We have been there twice and had great food both times. Seating is a bit tight and it is bit noisy but it's well worth it.
The food was heavy, and not authentic. The staff was friendly, but overall pretty cheesy. It's clear the restaurant puts more into trying to convince you they're authentic, than in actually making good Italian food.
Service is fabulous! People and food are so good! Favorite goto when family is in town!!!
Super food and great service for the $
We celebrated our daughters “18th” Birthday! Carlo was our waiter and he was amazing!! We always feel like family when we eat here. Thank you Antica family for making this experience extra special and all our past experiences amazing!
I came here with my father I had not seen for 3 years when he flew into town. Our family is Sicilian American, and this place offered a taste of what my great-grandmother cooked before she passed away. You won't find a better tasting hand made pasta in Utah, a more authentic Sicilian Italian restaurant, or a more authentic offering of wine to pair with Sicilian Italian cuisine. I recommend the Sangiovese. For dessert, I had the cheesecake made with ricotta cheese and candied fruit. They offer canolli but they put chocolate chips in it which is popular in America. I wish they offered it with candied fruit. Also, I recommend they add a pistachio lemon canolli. I think it would do well here. Thank you for a great evening with my father Antica Sicilia!
I only gave ambiance 4 stars due to the noise level, but every time I eat here Im so happy about it. I love the food!!! Everything Ive ordered from here has been amazing! The service is fantastic. I gave it 4 stars this time because our server took quite a while getting us refills (it was a busy night!) and we waited quite a while for our food to come out, but I don't hold it against them! Ill be back again and again! My 4 star ratings are no reason to not come eat here. This place is so delicious! Its an experience for sure!
Food consistently delicious. Service fabulous. Love the atmosphere.
Antica Sicilia is a wonderfully authentic Italian restaurant. From the appetizers to the entrees and desserts it is indeed a great place to have a meal!
Loads of character. Best Italian experience around. Outstanding food.
Live music too loud! Significantly degrades the experience.
The special was outstanding as always!
The food was very good as well as the presentation. This is not a fast food joint so take your time and enjoy.
Love this place! Food is excellent and service was impeccable. Joe was our waiter and he couldn't be more engaging and attentive. We'll definitely be back.
Great place love the owners love the service people food everything is fabulous!!
This was our second visit and the food and service again were excellent.
Way in advance, I reserved here for New Year's Eve 2018. We were visiting from the east coast with family and wanted a special night out. I even received an email request asking me to re-confirm the day before. When we arrived all ready for our special holiday celebration, the restaurant was CLOSED!!!! We had to forage around to find an alternative on perhaps the busiest night of the year. How irresponsible of this establishment to take a reservation and not be open. Completely unprofessional, inconsiderate and down right unacceptable.
We booked the New Year’s Eve reservation through Open Table in November. We received numerous confirmations regarding our reservation including a countdown the day of our reservation. We showed up at the restaurant at 5:50 PM on New Year’s Eve, and the restaurant was closed. We were devastated. We had looked so forward to our dinner and celebration for over a month. Now it was 6:00 PM on New Years Eve, we were all dressed up and every good restaurant in town was booked up. We don’t feel like we can rely on Open Table for any important reservation anymore. You ruined our celebration.
Another car pulled up next to us, same scenario, booking through Open Table and restaurant wasn’t open.
