Spaghetti alla Carbonara | Signature Dish
A rich tangle of pasta with a robust cream sauce of eggs and Italian pancetta, finished table side in a wheel of aged parmigiano
Tagliatelle Antica Sicilia
Fresh mixed seafood sauteed in a white wine sauce with a touch of tomato on a bed of homemade tagliatelle pasta
Freshly baked, homemade lasagna, layers of traditional bolognese sauce, fresh mozzarella, bechamel and finished with a touch of Parmesan
Excellent as always.
There was a large high school group there and the noise was unbearable. We had to yell at each other to be heard. It would be good if they would text or email anyone with reservations to tell them a large group will be there. Had to beg for our bill at the end. It came and was wrong twice. The carbonara is great but this place is so expensive and dark and dreary we won't be back.
Really high quality ingredients, delicious food. Serving sizes are a little smaller than something you would find at an American Italian chain, but that was great because we could order more courses. We loved all the appetizers and plates we ordered. Service was prompt and helpful. Atmosphere was comfortable and romantic (or so my wife said!) We want to go back and so the “Taste of Sicily” four course meals.
Returning guest to this same restaurant which used to be so awesome. It changed so much, all ingredients were not the same value of what we paid for, a lot of young people in there , May be they don’ t care? … seafood was way overcooked....won’ t go back for a long time .
They were out of many dishes from the menu including a lasagne, the baked artichokes, and more. The waitress was really unhelpful when it came to offering recommendations or knowing the menu. Things were forgotten often as well. Does not live up to the hype.
Such great food and service. It tasted like Italy. We will be back again soon!
My wife and I love this restaurant. Always fresh and homemade food.
The food is great but wow the service is terrible. We had a reservation and were seated. Only three other tables in the restaurant and we literally waited for 10 minutes for water and menus. We had to ask for both and waited another 5 mn. Servers kept looking at us and walking by. Ordered drinks which took at least 15 mn, ordered coffee with desert and it was never delivered. Luckily we are patient but really bad for business great food or not.
We have been coming to the “Sicilia” family of restaurants for years. At Sicilia Mia, the food is always exceptional. At Antica Sicilia, it’s just not the same. Still good, though. I like the larger restaurant at Antica.
Great food, nice setting. Service was slow. We had to wait about 15 minutes beyond our reservation time for a table. And at least 15 more minutes before anyone even brought water or asked for our order. The wait staff was helpful once we had their attention.
This was a wonderful evening out and the service and delicious food made it a night to remember. The waitstaff were attentive without being overbearing. The food was exquisitely presented and we had a special request, which was perfectly executed. This was our first time at this location and we will return.
Antica Sicilia is one of our favorite restaurants. We have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious! It's just like being back in Sicily! We were sad that they didn't have their wonderful caponata as an appetizer - so, if you go there, always ask for caponata as an appetizer and maybe they'll put it back on the menu! We got the antipasto plate as an appetizer - expensive, but well worth it - the meats and cheese were sublime! My wife and I both had the special of the day, a pasta with cream sauce and shrimp. DELICIOUS! You will not go wrong dining at Antica Sicilia!
A phenomenal experience. The food was excellent in every way. The vast part, though, was the people. Everyone on the floor was a delight, both with me and with all the other guests. We loved it and look forward to returning.
Consistently good food and service on each visit. Parking is typically not a problem.
It can get noisy when they are full.
Fantastic place to have a great food experience. Staff was extremely friendly and the food was beyond satisfactory. We will be going back regularly.
Great for any occasion; date night, anniversary, large celebrations.
Amazing food and atmosphere. It’s our Italian go to for authenticity.
This is our go-to neighborhood exquisite dining choice. There are no restaurants in Salt Lake that are much better than this; it's clearly in the top tier in terms of ambiance, food quality and good service. To be honest, our server dropped the ball on a wine reorder at our last visit but this was uncustomary. (We've dined here several times.)
The restaurant had just reopened five days earlier after a prolonged Covid-induced closure and they did not have all the items on the menu. Not a problem, since the menu is replete with delicious options.
I think it would have been nice to hear a little background music.
Celebrated our Valentines with friends and family. We’ve been to this restaurant a few times before. Several things were different than prior visits. Which was to our disappointment. Our younger boys didn’t care for any of the food. Quite expensive meal especially when they didn’t eat any of theirs. We did enjoy the gnocchi.
Friendly staff and amazing food. This was my boyfriend's first visit and he was blown away by the carbonara tableside service.
The ambience was good, the tables were arranged weird so we kind of felt like we were very out in the open if that makes sense, not a lot of privacy at all. The server was curt to be honest because we didn't want extras like wine and appetizers. LOL. The food was good but not spectacular. I had the gnocchi with gorgonzola, the forgot the pancetta on top, my husband had the ribeye, he liked it but again nothing out of this world. The gnocchi portion was tiny too but was fine for me because I don't eat a lot. Everything was al a carte as well so no sides with your meal or even salad.
I LOVE the food at Antica Sicilia and Sicilia Mia. We always get the carbonara which is so good. It just seems like the serving size gets smaller and smaller every time we go. :(
Very good food. Pasta was properly cooked...al dente. A little pricey but worth it for the food and ambience.
Food was great. We got the ravioli and the filet minion with mushrooms.
Atmosphere was great, as was the timing of the food.
Overall a good experience. Service was good, atmosphere was good but food was marginal. Gnocchi was bland at best, filet mignon had good flavor and was cooked excellent, but was filled with fat which was very surprising. The desserts were also bland and tasted old.
Glad we experienced this place but will not be back.
Very clean, friendly and enjoyable. The food was excellent, a bit pricey, but we are going back soon.
Great authentic Italian food.
Everything on the menu is excellent.
Antica is ALWAYS terrific....the food, the staff, the ambiance, we love everything about it !!!
Food just ok.server was nice. Good physical separation.
Best food in Utah, get the carbonara and the Super IPA
One of my top 3 Italian restaurants in Salt Lake easy. They Gnocchi and carbonara were phenomenal! Highly highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time! The food was delightful and it was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary!
Very enjoyable! Loved the table side carbonara! So delish. The mozzarella was great and the Caesar salad was one of the best! Great service and able to visit after comfortably. Will be back!
It was my birthday and they sang Happy Birthday in Italian to me. The food was excellent!
Consistently good service and food. For this trip, we started with their Bruschetta, which is fairly large for two people. We both had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, their speciality. I have never had better anywhere. Service was excellent, as always. I think it's hard to go wrong with any of their locations.
Best Italian we’ve had in Utah. Carbonara finished table side with a huge wheel of cheese is a must!
Was one of the best restaurants I have been too. Will go in the future and will recommend to anyone who loves Italian food and great service with wine.
