Esta empresa de gestión familiar, fundada en Roma en 1922, cruzó el charco para abrir un establecimiento en Nueva York en el año 2012. Los dos establecimientos siguen dos líneas fundamentales: reelaborar las recetas tradicionales de la gastronomía romana y utilizar productos locales, de temporada y en su mayoría ecológicos, con un guiño a las tendencias modernas. En 2015, la familia abrió un tercer Antica Pesa en Doha, Qatar, ya que siguen en su búsqueda internacional de compartir su gastronomía e ideología.

Antica Pesa is a gem in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. A classic and authentic Italian restaurant to bring friends, family in town, or to bring someone on a date. The rigatoni is divine, the mustard gelato and prosciutto appetizer is delicious, and their eggplant so tasty. The service is fantastic and the staff is so kind and welcoming. The Italian touches of cutting hot peppers on the pasta, to the staff speaking in Italian, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful, hip but intimate atmosphere. The staff was amazing - so friendly and warm and doting. And the food was outstanding and unique --starting with warm baked bread with high quality/tasty olive oil, then the salad and birds nest with egg appetizers were delicious. And the cannoli's for desert were some of the best I ever had. We were there to celebrate my mother's birthday and the staff made her feel so special.

We had a lovely dinner at Antica Pesa. The food was delicious and the knowledgeable staff made us feel welcome and well-cared for. We will definitely be back!

Everything about this place is amazing!!! Lorenzo is such an awesome gentleman that immediately who just adore him. His staff is exceptional. The food is terrific!! You make a point of making us feel so special . Love love this place I will be back very soon.

Authentic wonderful dinner. The excellent service and food experience was so memorable - one that makes me want to fly from Atlanta to NYC again just to go back soon. Thank you all for an incredible evening - first time I was able to meet friends in from Europe & Australia in 3 years.

The food was incredible. Our server was so attentive and so knowledgeable about the menu and wine paring. I will be taking all if my guests to this location when they visit NYC.

Amazing meal and service at Antica Pesa last night. The space and ambiance are cozy, perfect for a date night. Perfect atmosphere to enjoy some “homey” authentic Roman inspired Italian restaurant. Everything that we had was cooked perfectly, the pastas are a must. The steak for 2 is a ljttle pricey but totally worth it!
