Birthday dinner, service was excellent and food delicious. This is a great place to go for celebrations or just friends meeting up.
Loved everything about this restaurant from ambiance to the food to the service. The food was delicious! The service was amazing...very attentive and warm. Our server, Helena was incredible. Everything was impeccable. Highly recommend!
Some of the best Italian food you will ever have. Authentic and flavorful served in an intimate setting. Good for dinner with friends or a date.
Best Italian food in NYC
Amazing food and service !!! Always consistent.
The food and wine was great but we were there during hurricane henri and it literally RAINED on us inside. So that was an experience. Cacio y Pepe was good but I heard it was the “best in Brooklyn” but not sure I agree. Branzino was A+.
Always delicious food and wonderful service!
Leonardo was fab, everything was perfect!
I have spent a month living in Rome and travel to Italy every year. I live in Manhattan (for the past 7 years) and this restaurant is BY FAR the worst italian restaurant I have ever been to. We ordered the octopus .. flavors did not go together at all and was sub par. The “bread” they served us was clearly microwaved we took a bite and it was chewy and salty and after a few min it was rock hard. The “lobster” risotto was extremely salty, lobster was nowhere to be found. Then I asked them to replace the risotto with breaded chicken because how could you mess that up..but somehow they managed to. It honestly tasted like it was covered in sugar..never had breaded chicken taste like a donut. THE worst I’ve ever had. Do not be fooled by how nice the interior is. We should have known this restaurant was awful when it was practically EMPTY on a Friday night at 8pm in prime Williamsburg. When we told the “manager” the food was not good he said “yes it is”. Haha ok. Good luck to anyone who walks into this establishment. Will bet they won’t last in this neighborhood. We check reviews for restaurants every time and the reviews here are clearly fabricated because the food is honest to god AWFUL. We spent $120 and went to Joe’s Pizza after because the food was inedible.
I felt like I was in Rome, but on a Brooklyn sidewalk. Absolutely authentic. Great service and food!!!
Amazing food and ambiance
By far the best Resturant in Brooklyn. The food and service is impeccable.
Lorenzo does an incredible job in presentation, food quality, diversified wine list and the place is upbeat and stunning; front desk works like a charm; absolutely hands down the best Italian outside of Roma.
Excellent food. Great service.
Very friendly, like you are family.
Almost as good as being in Rome.
Food and staff amazing!
Service, Ambiance and especially the Food was amazing!!
Top notch food in a very relaxing and sophisticated ambiance. Impressive wine list and service was excellent. Will return again soon!
Going for round to with piedro 😏
Great service. Great food. Beautiful inside. Living around the corner and never knew how nice it was. Great night
Amazing quality food, just like it tastes in Italy. Limited menu. Great vibe and service but they gave my umbrella to someone else.....
Restaurant was looking a little run down vs a few years ago. Outside dining area very shabby. Inside could use a face lift an a little more class like table cloths etc. Not really fine dining anymore.
Antica Pesa never disappoints. The food, service, and ambiance are always top-notch! They make you feel like you are part of their family.
I put in the open table notes that it was my girlfriends birthday and also told a waiter who said he’d inform my waiter. But then they brought the check without bringing the birthday dessert. I hinted to him that I’d already spoken to someone and that he should speak with him as well but he didn’t get the hint. Overall left a great meal feeling very disappointed and dissatisfied.
Horrible service! Undercooked food! Mediocre drinks!
Every bite of every dish was outstanding! There was not a weak link in the meal or service. The servers were very attentive but did not hover or rush us. We ate outdoors and the weather was lovely. Overall a fabulous experience!
Antica Pesa is my favorite restaurant ever. The chicken cutlet is the best chicken I have ever had in my life without question. I could spend all 2000 characters talking about just that chicken, but the rest of the food is just as fantastic. The pasta, the sauce, the buffalo mozz and prosciutto. The servers and general manager were personable and took great care of us, and while they didn't have seating outside before the pandemic they set up a really nice outside area that's just as nice as the inside is. This is my favorite restaurant in the world, and I'll be dreaming of that chicken till I get the chance to go again. I want to specifically thank Simone who was amazing to our group.
Great food as always. Service considering limited staff was excellent and a little complimentary limoncello post meal, was welcome!
Had a great time here! Lorenzo was incredible. Will definitely be coming back.
Best Italian restaurant in NYC
Was surprised by how good the food was and the well designed interior!
Food came barely warm . Missing flavors . The salad appetizer was the best part of the dinner. Would not recommend to friends
Loved it. The Mozzarella and meatball appertizer were great, the Pastas fantastic.
The service and whole experience was fantastic. Really attentive staff, shout out to Lorenzo! We got the grappa tasting and it was sublime! Literally cannot wait to go back.
Food and service were great. Simple Italian recipes done exceptionally well. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent food and service....highly recommend it..

My husband and I loved everything about it from the ambiance to the delicious dinner everything was perfect....highly recommended especially for date night
Loved it. As always. Lorenzo was as gracious as ever. We’ve been coming here since ‘14 and it doesn’t disappoint. Took the kids this time and they absolutely loved it
