This is one of our favourite restaurants. It’s a little pricey so it’s our go-to place for a celebration. Not a place for bringing children. The food never disappoints.

We went there to celebrate a birthday and it was our first time at Antica Osteria. Being in charge of the arrangements, I chose it because of the excellent reviews and the promising menu. An amateur cook myself (albeit a dedicated one) I am always interested in high quality ingredients and correctly balancing flavours and delivered exactly that. The Yellow Fin Tuna Carpaccio was absolute perfection. The Calamari Fritti may look simple to cook but getting them right - that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside - is not easy: undercook them and you get the texture of rubber bands; overcook them and all flavour is gone. Antica Osteria not only got it right: It also got the best I have eaten in ages. As for the home made pasta, it’s all that good pasta must be, the right texture cooked to perfection and enhancing the delicious flavours of the sauces and its ingredients. Desserts ranged in the same high level and the Limoncello Gelato shouldn’t be missed. The service is excellent and the staff friendly and very helpful. Combined with the great food and a nice ambiance, all of these adds to a wonderful dining experience worth every minute and every dollar. I am sorry I took so long to go there but I am more than ready for many returns.

Everything was good until the end when we were asked to leave seconds after paying our bill because there were people waiting for a table. This is very rude especially after spending $300+ on dinner!!

I heard a lot of people mention that it was good. We were there years ago and were not impressed. Thought we would try it again. It was just ok this time, but to be fair we will try it one more time soon. Has their signature dish of pasta in the cheese wheel, it was lukewarm, not great for an Italian restaurant. My husband's sea food linguine was hot and quite good. The Caesar salads lacked seasoning and dressing.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Everything was excellent however we did find the noise level quite high due to the restaurant being filled to capacity.
