The manager and staff helped make a 105th birthday a special experience. We made a reservation ahead of time to arrive just after the Woodfire opened. They sat us by the fire taking into account my friend's age, were patient with the loss of hearing when ordering, helped with the special surprise we had at dessert time, and served us with thoughfulness, grace, and kindness - and the food was delicious! - Thank you
Table was ready when requested. The wait staff was attentive. Food was very well prepared. The asparagus was prepared so even the stalk was tender. Unusual. At most places the stalk is woody and I won't eat it, only the tip. Great place for an occasion.
The food was delicious and the service was great! We will definitely be back.
Had a reservation for mothers day dinner. Was seated promptly and got our drinks and food orders in right away. Then we waited. And waited. And waited.
Waited over 20 minutes for 2 soups and 2 salads to come to the table, which seemed like a super long time for pre-made soup and salad.
Dinner itself was fine. Only other complaint was that they advertised that all mothers got a chocolate bar which we did not get. Didn't see any other women get them either.
Bread is not served at this restaurant unless you ask for it . Today the Entire restaurant knew about this but me. They got Bread .... Waitress failed to inform me of policy
Mothers Day Meal my Wife had was Cold. She had the Salmon with Asparagus. Applebee's might have been a better choice for me today .....
Everything was good, I do wish we didn’t have to ask for bread, we never had to before, it would have been great to have the waitress ask if I wanted cheese or bacon added to my burger too as I forgot, but the burger was still good.
Food has slipped here. Still good but not great. Menu very so so. This restaurant needs a fresh look menu wise. Thank you.
Anthony's Woodfire Grill has to be my favorite restaurant! The staff was fantastic and the food was awesome!
Went for the early bird dinner special. The price went up a few dollars and it’s only 3 courses now instead of 4, so that was a bummer. Also didn’t taste as great as I remembered it which was too bad. Used to go a lot before covid.
The food was wonderful - it always is - and our waitress was very nice and helpful. It's our "go to" place in Everett.
My friend and I were conflicted as to whether or not we should have asked for the manager, and decided to ultimately let it go because everyone has an off day. The service we received from our server was absolutely horrible. We had to ask to order, make it obvious we need refills, and she only checked in with us once during our early dinner. Whereas the other tables near us she checked on them multiple times and was visibly friendly with them. In addition, we were under whelmed by the menu options. Needless to say if the menu was posted prior, we probably would have gone else where, but certainly won’t be back soon after after the service we received.
The service was wonderful and the restaurant was clean and attractive, unfortunately the food was not, we had Calamari that was cut way too thin and you could only taste the breading the fish was disappointing the fries were really good everything else was right from the freezer, I wouldn’t recommend it
Small menu, good food.
Where to start...
First they were out of several menu and drink options, my pork chop came out rare, calamari appetizer was forgotten, and my wife’s garlic shrimp were spoiled. The waitress and manager were quite nice, but it was a disaster of a meal.
Restaurant was not very busy (maybe because it was Monday evening), therefore nice and quiet. Had an outstanding table at the window. Food was very good and the wonderful waiter completed our excellent experience. Would go there again without hesitation.
Us 4 went for an early dinner on a Sunday. We were all excited for the filet. They were out of filets. Wtf
They didn’t serve our bread right away. The food took very long to arrive.
Ordered the long bone ribeye dinner for 2 and everything came out delicious. Seating was prompt, food was great, service was exceptional. It was a very welcoming first visit and I left happy and full.
Menu changed. Very little to choose from that is affordable, especially for lunch. No specials, no fun bar menu. We were pretty bummed that it cost so much and we had so little to choose from.
We love Anthony's Woodfire Grill for Sunday brunches! It is so relaxing and the view of the waterfront is beautiful. The service is always excellent and the food is ever so tasty!
Food and service were excellent, looking forward to the patio reopening in the summer.
Rice pilaf was sticky. Service was good. Looked like one wait person working the whole restaurant.
Why in the middle of an airborne pandemic does Anthony's Woodfire Grill literally cram everyone into one-half of the restaurant? Not smart! The noise level (probably partly a result of the overcrowding on one side of the restaurant) was really annoyingly loud.
Not what we expected. Food was average but over priced for what was served (salmon and steak). Felt like it was a diner but a view of the marina, not the water.
Service was poor. It took several minutes for the waitress to bring us our water, and the appetizer was served halfway through our dinner.
Great visit. Appetizers and drinks in the bar near the fire.
Waiter was totally distracted talking with a single guy and watching something at his phone . Bread and butter never arrived or even offered. Very frustrating and we are regulars at Anthony’s restaurants . I have send an email to the restaurant complaining about the service . Pinot Noir in the menu not available .
The food was overpriced for what it actually is - pub food. Fish and chips, pasta, and almost as many appetizers/salads as entrees. Not a place to go for high quality seafood; go next door to the Homeport for a good seafood experience. Go to the Woodfire for a relaxed, yet expensive dinner.
We had eaten at Woodfire years ago and really liked it. When we made our reservation we indicated it was for both our wedding anniversary and my birthday and that we hoped we could get a view. The table we got was in the corner of the bar under a tv (with covid seating I’m sure it is probably harder but there was no comment about it or offer to let us wait for a better table). Our server did not acknowledge our event even when we mentioned it. The menu was reduced due to covid so we couldn’t get the food we wanted (we had looked at the full menu online). The service was slow as there were only two servers which we were told was covid related. We never got the bread our waitress offered. Our drinks sat empty for longer than we would expect AND longer than other tables waited. The food wasn’t as amazing as we remembered. It felt like our location in the bar made it easy for our table to be forgotten/ignored compared to others. This was our first outing without our 8 month old son and with the effort we went through to be there for our special occasions it didn’t feel special like we hoped. The only dessert option was “pie in a cup” and it was not offered as part of our occasion. I’m not sure if it’s all covid or if the restaurants quality has just gone down since our last visit. Overall we were disappointed.
The man that manages the restaurant is excellent he is one of the reasons we go there all star was good
Nice restaurant. Salmon was a little dry but service was good. Wine is also pretty good.
As always, Woodfire Grill is great food, good value and wonderful service.
As always, great food, value and experience.
We like the Woodfire so much better than the Anthony's resturant in Everett. The food is good and you get enough the prices are good. The restaurant is clean and pretty the view is wonderful and the deck seating is also great.
We love both Anthony's and its sister restaurant, the Woodfire Grill. The view is wonderful with a nice area for a short walk after the meal. The food is always top quality and well prepared. The atmosphere is safe and comfortable. I have only good things to say about this establishment. Thanks for a great dinner!
Very enjoyable.... waitress was sweet... one of the guests ordered a drink and didn’t consume so the waitress took it off the bill.
Woodfire is truly a great place, the food is awesome, server's are great, the whole thing is really the best
I really enjoyed our dinner @ Woodfire. The dinner was delicious & our server, Heather, was amazing. She exchanged pleasant conversation & checked on us regularly. I will return again & again.
It felt very COVID safe, minimal tables being served with lots of space between. I was hesitant to go out to eat for the 1st time and felt at ease at the woodfire.
The food was delicious. The server seemed to know when we needed something without stopping by every 5 minutes. We had a view of the marina and were entertained by water fowl and 2 dogs.
Server was nice, service was slow. was going to order dessert but didn’t want to wait. Thought they would have garlic pita bread like Bellingham, but they didn’t. Shrimp artichoke dip was loaded with onions, that’s all. could taste. disappointing.
