Only thing that bothered us was the tables pushed too closely together. Very hard to squeeze in & out
We went for Mother's Day Brunch. It was chaotic at the buffet and I don't think anyone at my table of 4 had even one hot entree. All food was room temperature at best. To be fair, they are a great steakhouse, brunch just isn't their specialty. A manager offered to bring me a plate of warm food, but by then all my table mates were done dining, so I declined. On the way out, I also spoke with 2 hostesses to let them know I was disappointed and they literally shrugged. I probably won't ever go back and will likely move to discourage our company holiday party away from this venue, where it has been held for a few years now.
The filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a great flavor and was cooked to perfection. Although not all-stars, the sides were good, cooked properly and nicely complimented the steaks. The horseradish was outstanding...just saying! Nice wine choices at a reasonable price. Cheesecake was very good (but I was just a wee bit too full to thoroughly evaluate it.) Quiet booth in the upper area with great service. A memorable meal.
Very disappointing. We had reservations for a party of 8 and they seated us in the bar area at a table for 6 people. None of our meals came out together and ALL of the prime rib and steaks were cold. The waitress took our food back to the kitchen but even upon return from warming the food it was still cold. The entire evening was a disappointment and we will not be returning to Anthony’s again nor recommending it to anyone else.
Excellent aged New York. Done perfectly. Service was excellent. Restaurant is dated and could use some updating. Price was quite high. This meal was their special and at 48$ , definitely on the high end.
Great food, excellent service and friendly staff. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend.
It was an excellent choice for our group. Prime rib was superb!
Great prime rib luncheon special with full salad and soup without the high prices charged by other Omaha restaurants.
As always we had another great experience here. The staff is always great and quick. The food is also very good and has great flavor. Had family down and my good friends band was playing at the Ozone. Very nice to eat at a great place and literally walk to the bar to enjoy live music.
We have been dining at Anthony's Steakhouse for over 40 years. It is still my favorite steakhouse in town!
With our most recent visit, we were celebrating our "Date Night", part of the Family Life Ministry's "Weekend to Remember". We wanted a good place to eat, which offered good service, and a great atmosphere. We were not disappointed at all, and although I do not recall the name of the person that was serving our food and making sure our glasses of water and tea were filled, she was fantastic as a server!
We will be back, and highly recommend Anthony's!
The service was fine, though the pacing was somewhat slow. We waited quite a while for salads, bread, and appetizers. Once the appetizers did arrive, they weren't hot, as if everything had been sitting out on a tray for a while before being delivered to our table. The variety of steaks on offer sounded fantastic and the quality was ok, perhaps a bit higher priced than I felt they were worth.
If you're looking for a "supper club" atmosphere or casual dining, than this is for you. However, if you want a great experience and tasty steaks, set your sights elsewhere.
THE MEAL WAS WONDERFUL, THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. WE ALWAYS GO BACK!
Excellent food and service!
Visiting from Chicago and Anthony's was recommended to us. It definitely has an old school ambiance. The employees really go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied. I opted for the rib eye special (I'm usually a strip or filet kind of gal) but I felt it lacked flavor. I probably should have stuck to my usual. I do believe the value can't be beat, so I would definitely recommend Anthony's.
My wife and I went there as our last meal together as an Engaged couple. We knew we wanted a good quality steak on a nice quiet atmosphere. Anthony's delivered 100%. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food. You definitely get great value for the price you pay.
Always a wonderful experience and food is delicious
Even though the weather was a challenge
We were making it our date night
Big time overrated. Visiting Omaha steakhouses should be a great experience but sadly this wasn't it. Booked an appointment via Open Table at approximately 2pm for 5:30p this evening. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were seated in an auxiliary area as the nearly vacant dining room and Ozone lounge must have been already spoken for. Each had plenty of seating which was super curious to me. The atmosphere now is bright fluorescent lights and sliding room dividers right next to the kitchen. Not exactly your ideal steakhouse setting.
Appetizers of garlic bread and the antipasti platter. Bread was over coated in garlic and what looked like cheddar cheese. Best part of all was the small jar of strawberry preserves on the platter.
Ordered the 14 oz Prime Rib with au gratin potatoes and a small side of chicken parmigiana. Clearly the Prime Rib was cooked earlier in the day and sitting someplace to be completely dried out. It was gross - no moisture and the crust was like jerky. Wife ordered a steak cooked to medium and her dish was soaking wet with juice. I would have gladly traded had I known this was what we were going to receive.
Quite frankly: Hard pass on Anthony's. Places like this are super disappointing with people like us coming from Des Moines looking for an awesome Omaha visit. Highly recommend going to a different place such as a Fleming's or 801 that actually provides service and an environment that is comparable with the amount of the final bill.
Prime Rib, not rare enough, but get flavor
Was amazing, was my first time and the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Very nice and patient. Drinks were refilled in timely manner and always made sure our night was good and that we were satisfied with our food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We were seating right away after checking in for our reservation. Judy, our waitress greeted us immediately and told us about the specials. We ordered a bottle of wine and Judy asked if we wanted to wait to order. She returned soon and we ordered. The food was perfect. Salads, bread, a special rib eye and a filet. Beef was cooked perfectly and the baked potatoes were great! It was a nice meal. Service great even though it was very busy. Enjoy this Omaha mainstay!
Steak was over cooked. I returned it and got a second steak also over cooked. I showed the server but decided to eat it as my date was almost done with her food. Taste was average at best. Definitely not going back to this restaurant.
The food and service was amazing! The owner and his staff are unbelievable and made us feel at home! We will definitely be back again soon!
Service was excellent. Since my last experience at Anthony's, there has been a notable improvement in the overall experience. Keep it up. I was reluctant to go, but now I highly recommend.
Amazing food. Great atmosphere! Very friendly and helpful staff. Location was easy to find. Easy to make reservations.
We had dinner on Valentines Day. Anthony’s set up their party room with individual tables for the evening. There was plenty of room and wasn’t too crowded. Service was great, steak was cooked perfectly.
We enjoyed our Valentines Dinner so much that we plan to dine here more often. The various courses were unique and our server explained each food item thoroughly so our selections were what we wanted. They’d decorated the tables very romantically and the cloth napkins complemented the entire ambience. All-in-all, it was over the top!
We expected way more than the conference room wobbly seating. My food mains dish was 58 dollars and you served the thinnest toughest steak I have had at any restaurant and the crab legs wasn't crab legs it was a half a leg cut in half and another 1/8 of a half of a leg. You did not have much for gluten free options and with as early as I reserved my spit for Valentines you could have at least put me in a booth in the main restaurant instead of that sad wobbly table in the darn overflow area.
The waitress was the absolute best waitress I have had at any restuarant in a long time.
Unless you like loud music with your dinner suggest asking for table further away from the bar. Band was loud and extra so every time the door to the bar was opened. Steaks were average for old fashioned steak house. The salmon on cedar plank was a bit dry, my guest added some blue cheese crumbles from her salad to help. The lobster Newburg was a solid mass. The noodles had absorbed the sauce while waiting to be served I assume. Three dime size pieces of very soft lobster that were probably from a can. Would not recommend ordering. Thinking this has become a hangout for the over 50 singles crowd. ;)
Everything was great! Steak was perfect!
Great time we had. We were there for my moms 85th Birthday.
We were celebrating my progress with my chemo treatment. Positive response from my body. Dinner was superb. We had filets, rib eye and salmon. 3 couples. Hard for me to go to Anthony's and not order steak. Thanks for everything.
Dinner was excellent. The hostess greeted us, the waiter was quick to get to our table. The wine, salads and entrees were perfect. A manger came to the table to check on things! It was a fabulous dining experience!
Normally a great place for steak. I ordered prime rib with a twice baked potato, my wife had a small fillet and potatoes au gratin. Her steak was very good, but the potatoes were still crunchy, so a little under cooked. My prime rib was cool, not even lukewarm. The au jus with it was also cool, not hot. my twice baked potato was between cool and lukewarm when served. We told our server, and later they offered to give us a free dessert to compensate. We declined. Very disappointing meal, particularly for the prices we were paying.
We had a big run across our table from the bread basket. Our server told the manager that it was just a beetle and this was not a big deal. The manager said she was sorry and walked away. When we received the bill, nothing was taken off for the bug and I discovered that my Anthony's Old Fashioned had an added charge for Crown. I did not order my drink with Crown. I pointed to the Anthony's Old Fashion on the menu and this is made with Jim Beam. Our total bill for our party of 5 was $235 and we tipped $45. We won't be back due to the lackluster customer service.
It was ok, nothing that would bring me back soon. My steak wasn’t very tender. I ordered a Tom Collins drink, which is a pretty well known drink. She brought it to me and it tasted and looked strange. I asked her about it and she said they didn’t have simple syrup so they tried to make some. This is a common ingredient in a lot of cocktails so we were surprised they didn’t have any. I sent the drink back.
Steak was good but nothing better than chain steak restaurants. All four in our party were not impressed. Had higher expectations.
Excellent service and food. I was disappointed that initially we were not placed in the main dining room, but when I asked to be moved into the dining room, there was no problem.
Terrible service. Food was cold by the time it got to the table. Waited for refills of drinks
The food was excellent and the service was great. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant and will be back.
Everything was great, just wish they would've told us they were putting the party in the bar area.
