   Anthony's is our go-to place for seafood. We've never eaten any of its limited meat entree selections. That's as it should be. This visit was specifically for the first-of-the-season Copper River salmon, an annual event for us. In spite of this year's outrageous price (there have been huge jumps every year, both in markets and there) it was well worth it. The salmon was prepared perfectly, my wife having the sockeye and me the king. I started with Penn Cove oysters on the half shell, a tasty appetizer. My wife had chowder, but thought the clams were too chewy, either overcooked or old. But on the positive side, they didn't skimp on the clams, not always the case with restaurant chowder. Mike, our server, was personable and efficient. He introduced us to a Yakima Valley wine made from grapes that originate in northern Spain. Delicious with salmon. It was an unrushed and enjoyable birthday meal with a fabulous view.

   $58 for an overcooked small copper river salmon with no pepper beurblanc sauce per menu... had no sauce at all. Overcooked asparagus spears. Very disappointed. Waiter forgot the cold bread.

   Went to Anthony's for two reasons, 1 for the view of the falls in spring, and that they advertised they had Copper River Salmon. They were out at 4:40 in the afternoon. The king salmon was good but not great.

   We had a wonderful birthday celebration. The food was delicious...we had the roasted prawns and the rhubarb dessert with ice cream. The service was exceptional; our waiter was very gracious and helpful. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't see the falls because the umbrellas were blocking our view. I guess if we had wanted to sit outside that wouldn't have been an issue.

   Anthony’s used to be an upscale restaurant, however now it is no longer a place to go for special occasions. I booked it for my birthday dinner and was sorely disappointed that it was changed to “pub” food —a lot of battered and deep fried food. We travelled from British Columbia for my “special “ dinner. The waiter didn’t even bother putting our bottle of white wine in a wine cooler. I know "things change" but this change was not one for the better.

   I made reservations for a party of 5 two weeks in advance requesting window seating and they gave us a phenomenal view of Spokane River. Server Michael was amazing and so was the food. This is a great place to take guests for special Occasions!

    Diner was amazing, service tho…. What we ordered was not what we got but food was still excellent! Hardly saw our server, had to ask other servers for things like bread and refills on water. Sat 20 min just waiting to order drinks but the view of the river is amazing even with both bridges under construction.

    We had a lovely table on the patio overlooking the falls. Spectacular view of the river and falls. Menu features wild seafood. Everything was beautifully prepared. Friendly efficient service. Nice wine selection featuring wines from the Pacific Northwest. Prices are high but not so bad for the quality of the cuisine and scenery.

    Lovely meal- wonderful view - attentive service! Enjoyed the seasonal rhubarb desserts (slump and sorbet) both excellent. Steelhead and Oscar salad were delightful. Always love coming to Anthony’s with out of town guests.

    Always a great experience, but the ling cid which was described as being baked with a sour cream topping came with way too much sour cream!! The fish had very little flavor. It would have been much better with butter, herbs and lemon and either grilled or sautéed.

    We didn't intend on dining on Mother's Day as that can be sketchy, but Anthony's came through like a champ. Food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic as usual.

    Anthony's is the place to go on a warm day with the Spokane Falls thundering in the background. The food is always very good and the service has been wonderful. Enjoy the terrace very much.

    Server was good. Food was good although they ran out of potatoes and rice so we ended up with fries. Not what I expect with a high end seafood dinner. My son forgot his $12 dessert at the table. When he tried to go back to get it less than 1 minute later they had locked the doors and waved him away. Wouldn’t even ask him what he wanted. They also wouldn’t answer the phone. Thank goodness it wasn’t my car keys we forgot, we would’ve had to call for a ride home. I go to Anthony’s every trip to Spokane but not sure I’ll go back after that experience.

    Attended for a birthday celebration. Excellent venue- the falls are amazing. Food was average to good. Nothing spectacular (Louis Salad, halibut, crab cakes) and rather expensive but given the location it is to be expected. Service was adequate- again nothing special. After the meal the server asked the birthday person if she would like to choose a dessert from the menu. She chose the cheesecake which we shared and was good. When the bill arrived we were charged for the dessert. I asked the waiter if it was supposed to be comped and he stated they only comp the burnt creme. No other desserts. I don't mind paying for it but the way it was presented- asking to choose a dessert from the menu- was very misleading. He also seemed annoyed that I even asked. I spent over $260 for 3 of us so it's not like a $12 dessert made much difference but we likely won't return because of this experience.

    Sunset deal was a very good bargain. All three courses were more than we expected. The garlic shrimp entree was delicious with about 8 prawns butterflied.

    The food was pretty good, although not as good as the last time we dined there about a month ago. The problem this time was the service (well, lack of service). Our waitress was very inattentive. She took awhile to even come to the table for our drink order. When she brought our drinks, we ordered our food. When she brought our first course (2 salads and a cup of chowder), no offer of fresh cracked pepper was made. Shortly thereafter, she brought out the first courses for the table next to us, and offered them fresh cracked pepper. My wife had the chowder and after a few bites, she knew it was not right. We flagged down the waitress (because of course she never checked on us even though she checked on other tables around us) and when my wife said there is something wrong with the chowder, she gave her a condescending look and rolled her eyes. Shortly thereafter, we heard the other wait staff talking about how the chowder was no longer available. Of course we never heard a thing acknowledging the chowder was bad and nobody checked on my wife or apologized to her. When our entrees arrived, they were fine but our waitress again never checked on us even though she checked on other tables. I had to flag her down for a second beer. When we left, she watched us leave and didn't say goodbye, thanks for coming in, etc.--nothing. Worst part is I mentioned this to one of the hostesses when leaving (we've usually had really good service at Anthony's) and she apologized and asked for our contact info so somebody could follow up. The other hostess said they already had it from our reservation and she verified the information with me. Nobody followed up. The whole thing is pretty upsetting as we took our friend who was visiting us from England and had talked up Anthony's to her. Oh well, at least it was a nice day and the falls were spectacular.

    We love our spring trip to Anthony’s when the river is running high. This visit was different in that the service was very slow. We had a 6:30 reservation, we’re actually seated about 7:00, no water or bread for another 20 min when my daughter sought out a waitstaff member who brought bread. Water came a few minutes later. Our dinner was served at 8:15. Food was good, got a chance to catch up with my kids, but this is the first time we’ve had such slow service.

    The manager Ryan is so kind and comes out to say hello and works as hard as anyone to make your experience great. Now our waiter Michael. WOW! So very attentive, great personality. Made my husbands bday so very special. We always go to Anthony’s for special occasions and friends coming to town. Michael made sure we had what we needed, one of our party was confused on her meal, Michael made it all good with no fuss. The food is ALWAYS perfectly cooked I always have salmon which is perfect, the pan fried Wilapa bay oysters are over the top good. And we love the early menu. Plenty to eat , yet, not too much. Dessert to boot. The view is something you want to share with your friends. Can’t wait til the next time we have dinner there.
