Anthony's Seafood Grill Lynnwood
Horrible experience. Waited 20 min for water, by a busboy, not even our server. Wine extremely underpoored, food unimpressive, and very slow service. Or server did seem to find time to hang with the table behind us showing them pictures on his phone. Messed up the check as well. Will never return.
Coleslaw was nasty tasting. Steak was a little tough. A little spendy for what you get.
Wonderful food and service as always when at an Anthony’s.
First of all, our waitress was AMAZING! She understood pacing perfectly, was gracious, and offered information and suggestions (wine and food) that were absolutely on point. If everything were about her and the decor, this would have been a perfect dinner.
And if the food were as good as the romaine/blue cheese/hazelnut salad and the clam chowder, this would be at least a 4 star review, if not 5. But alas, we had entrees and dessert.
My husband had steak and prawns and I had salmon and prawns. In both of our cases, the prawns were super salty and the side vegetables were cooked to death. My salmon was so overcooked there was no flavor left, and it had to cut with a knife. My husband's steak was fine, and he enjoyed his blackberry cobbler. My creme brûlée tasted like it came out of a box.
So, drinks and appetizers? Yes. But eat dinner elsewhere.
Our server, Adam, was very knowledgeable and provided a great service . We enjoyed our entire dining experience. Thank you!
I love the chain . always excellent food. location is not one of my favorites. i did miss the water
Great food and service. A++++. It was a little busy on Christmas Eve, but they handled everything flawlessly.
While there was some confusion over my request to ADD a highchair to our reservation, the staff eventually was able to figure it out. Everyone enjoyed their meals . Service was friendly but slowed as the meal progessed. Overall a good dining experience well worth the cost.
I enjoyed food I don't normally order - the clam chowder and the mahi-mahi taco were outstanding as was the shrimp cocktail appetizer.
We have loved Anthony's for many years in Lynnwood, Edmonds, Seattle, and Spokane. We have enjoyed their lobster specials many times. However, this time, the lobster was not good. It tasted as though it had been frozen/thawed incorrectly. It was not fresh and sweet tasting as we have always experienced in the past. It was not cooked through and slightly burnt on the outside. We tried the lobster tail and the lobster mac and cheese. Both were disappointing. We told the manager, she apologized and gave us two coupons for a free appetizer. Sadly, this is not enough to lure us back to the Lynnwood location.
Usually the food at Anthony's is very well prepared, however, the Lobster tail my wife and I ordered this time was very tough. You really had to saw at it with the dinner knife to cut it. Very disappointing! Rice pilaf was excellent, roasted veggies were OK. Service was attentive.
Great location. Movie, shopping and dinner at Alderwood Mall.
Great service from wait staff, very friendly and attentive! Feels very welcome!
We went there for the surf and turf special. The turf was good but the surf was marginal along with the vegetables.
I have enjoyed eating at the various Anthony's Restaurants since it was Mad Anthony's in Bellevue. I love the Beach Cafe and the big restaurant in Edmonds, the Everett locations, down town Seattle, and also Olympia. I know the food will always be good, the service is always great, and the wine list is fantastic.
Expensive for the small portions. Poor wine list. 64 degrees in dining area
The food was just ok and overpriced. Second time I've been disappointed by this restaurant chain in just 3 months! Won't go again and won't recommend. Three overall stars because of good service and quiet place.
I was hopeful due to the other reviews, but found the fish not as fresh as I had hoped, and the popcorn shrimp tasted like breading (was there shrimp in there?). I will not be back.
Service was great clam chowder outstanding and sour dough bread with real butter great. The halibut was not seasoned or lack favor. We had grill and plank of both and no favor from the garlic or lemon butter sauce. But our services again was great and would provably go back and try something else on menu.
Was ok but I miss the old seafood salad that heaped the toppings on. This was too light on toppings for the price. Not like it used to be for sure. Fish plates were good but again overpriced for amount which is smaller. Don’t mind the smaller but could be a bit cheaper.
The restaurant's ambiance is fantastic - so different from other Anthony's. The service was the worst I've experienced in years. At least 15 minutes to get a glass of wine. I had to summon the waiter to get a refill of soda for my granddaughter. Then I had to summon him again to request another glass of wine. No one ever offered to refill our water glasses. The food was okay, not up to what I expect from Anthony's.
The seafood tasted old and fishy. The portion size was so tiny, I was still hungry after. I never order dessert and I did becuase I wanted to try the fresh peaches. Well, I got some type of peach sugar syrup and not the fresh peaches that were advertised. It was disgusting. if you are going to offer a fresh peach deseert it better be fresh. Total waste of money. Glad I had a gift certifacate but even with that it cost me 125.00 and it was not even better than some stuff ive had a dennys
Great foood. Great service
Was a great experience, food was great! Felt like out waitress should have presented herself better!!!! Her work shirt was to tight an very stained!! Not a good representation of the restaurant!!
Shrimp fettachini was with those tiny shrimp not scampi or prawns. I couldn't taste the shrimp so I sent it back and ordered blackened rockfish.
ordered the seafood cioppino and received a bowl 3/4 empty, literally. No shrimp at all, and only maybe 6 mussels/clams, a few chunks of salmon all in a way too tomato broth. They made up for it by putting in croutons and slices of bread (which look like white fish). That for $25??? No thanks! In fact, I ordered a bowl of chowder and there was more chowder than the main dish. .. The service was even worse, we'd ordered starter which came 15 minutes later, then he took off and 10 minutes later came back to get our main order; to which we ordered kid mac, my dish, and the wife ordered rockfish - he asked if we wanted the mac immediately or with the rest of the meal which I said yes. 20 minutes later nothing, so I stopped him on his way to other tables and asked about the mac to which he said the kitchen was backed up. So why did he ask if I wanted it early??? Anyway, 10 minutes later the mac showed up (and looked/was good) but wife and I were just sitting there. More time and some other person came with my dish acting like I was really about to eat a lot (even brought another bowl for the shells, not really necessary considering the 'size' of the dish). Hard to believe but the mac was the best thing, followed by my wife's rockfish (which was plentiful and nicely blackened). The chowder was flavorless and I already spoke of my ladle of 'seafood stew'. I was so angry, it showed in the lack of a tip but honestly this feeling of being cheated happens often in Seattle establishments (save Dukes - which is fantastic).
Went there for lunch with a friend. We decided to splurge and have grilled halibut since it's in season. At $29.95 each, that was spendy at lunchtime. I say it was worth it! The outstanding halibut, very fresh vegetables on the side along with delicious rice pilaf. The halibut was grilled to perfection.
I think it was the chef that brought it to our table! He seemed so pleased to present it to us! I wanted to chat with him, but my guest was engaged in our conversation, so didn't get the opportunity. If he sees this review - thank you for the personal service!
Sat outside with online reservation. Had to ask for silverware when appetizers arrived at table along w small plates. Never offered bread/butter. Salads were bitter with many blackand wilted leaves along with yellow ones. Mentioned this to server and she said, “oh”. She gave one person in our party a card gifting a free appetizer or dessert at future visit since they only picked out their shrimp and avacado on the salad. Very disappointing. Off night all around.
4 of us had meals we didn’t enjoy. Pasta was tough, cod was bland,
Our food was tasty. The service was a bit slow at times because they ran out of bread when we first got there (?) and later when we were waiting for the check. The server was very friendly and professional. Overall it was a good experience.
Very good waiter accommodating our low sodium needs for my husband who just had surgery. Everything we requested was arranged perfectly. I think his name was Jordan or something at Lynnwood location
Would not go back.
