We were surprised at how many people there were. Thought WA State was still doing 50% capacity.
not as good as in the past, limited menu servings quite small
Noise from small children at adjacent table was out of your control.
Food was EXCELLENT! Service was very good. We will return!
Jacob was an excellent server. The food was amazing. Will definitely come back.
Great view, great service, great food and drinks. Will return again.
Worst food I've paid that much for, ever. So disappointing!
Window seat was perfect to watch boat traffic, service was friendly and food very good.
We had a lovely graduation celebration for our son. Like the new Sunset menu!
As others have noted, the decor is dated and the physical feel of the furnishings is "tired." The "spirit" also felt tired. I appreciated the quiet decibel level, but the air itself lacked the energy of people and staff interacting to create a little buzz in the atmosphere. Like many restaurants post-pandemic, this place seemed short-staffed and we waited an unconscionably long time at an empty table: no water, no place settings, no wine list.... The server who finally did have time for us was lovely and gracious, and I gave her a large tip because she made up for an otherwise disappointing experience.
I had chosen Anthony's Edmonds because my friend wanted fresh fish for her birthday, and Anthony's had always been a reliable choice for a special-occasion plate of fish. The black cod was tasty but the rest of the plate was ordinary and mostly uneaten. The crab cakes were acceptable--at least they were mostly crab meat--but for $40 I expected something better than I could have made at home, and the rest of the plate was similarly uninspired.
Overall, this was not the birthday gift I wanted to give my friend, who was having her first visit to a restaurant since the pandemic began. It was an acceptable evening, but nothing to write home about.
Great food! Well prepared and presented. Staff is thoughtful, courteous, and efficient. The oysters could have been cleaned up a little more. There was way too much shell left in them. Otherwise, very good.
Yummy - great wait staff!
Confortable and safe atmosphere. Food was wonderful.
43rd wedding anniversary dinner
We had a wonderful experience at Anthony's. The food was very good with a nice presentation. Ericka was our server and she was a delight. Very attentive and served us well.
Terrific food and view of Puget Sound. We often eat at Anthony's Beach Cafe (downstairs) but it was closed so we went to the main restaurant. It was just as good and the fish was delicious.
Lovely! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here.
Had a lovely dinner at a window table last night. Service was good, though less attentive as the meal progressed. The food was outstanding! I had Grilled King Salmon and my friend had the Black Cod. Both cooked to perfection. The salmon was among the best I've ever had - nicely grilled but still very moist and flavorful. Highly recommend the asparagus appetizer, as well. A wonderful meal, overall.
We were seated after a very short wait, having arrived early for our reservation. My wife and I had looked at the menu before going so we had a pretty good idea what we were going to order. The server was attentive, the food what we expected and the dessert was the perfect end. A great way to celebrate our anniversary.
The food ws great as usual and the staff friendly and accommodating.
Anthony's always does a great job.
Our family has been going there for years and we had our daughter's graduation dinner there. Never had a bad experience or meal.
All Edmonds locals should be proud of this restaurant.
Can not get any better really.
It was delicious and service was great. View of the sound and marina makes tor a really nice dinner
Creative, delicious food creations were served by attentive staff. A very enjoyable and special anniversary celebration!
Celebrating my husband's 76th birthday. We both love fish so Copper River Salmon was the meal we wanted. We have enjoyed going to Anthony's Home Port Edmonds very much. Able to look over the boats and seeing the ferry boats going in and out at sunset. We had a wonderful time and will do it again. They are the best.
Our salmon and halibut dinners were excellent but we were seated at the worst table in the restaurant and we had reservations. Service was slow but I know many are having a hard time restarting after COVID.
Food was fresh and excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. The ginger-miso glazed black cod was superb.
The service was awesome and the food was delicious.
The restaurant has delicious food and a spectacular view.
Perfect view and the food was great! Quiet and enjoyable atmosphere and couldn’t beat the sunset!!
The service was slow - wine brought toward the end of the meal and ice tea refill after the meal.
Some of the food was not as good as in the past, except the Halibut was very good.
1. Waitress was curt and not caring. Almost argumentative with our questions. Terrible attitude.
2. Had crab fettuccine that was not as good as in the past. Very little crab. Paid extra toe substitute more crab for eliminating the shrimp in the mix.
2. Sirloin was cooked correctly but very tough.fried oysters were perfect!
3. Don't like the limited menu!
4. Told our favorite seafood salad was not being served because you were not allowed to serve head lettuce???? Yet other salads were being served.
Service was great. Distancing was observed and so were masks by the staff. Unfortunately this Seattle staple is in desperate need of a makeover, both the decor and the chef. The carpet looks worn like a roller rink. Tables are sticky from such old shellack. The butterfish was ruined with a mushy “crust” and honest none of the fish was worth the price. I have gotten better meals at a food truck. I don’t like giving negative reviews but I also don’t want people to throw away their money. Again, service was great. Wine was too.
Anthony's Homeport Edmonds is a great place to eat.
Good food,, great view, good service. A little expensive, but what isn't!
Fabulous dinner, great service, and nature provided a beautiful night!
Overpriced for the quality of the food. Crab shrimp dip was runny, asparagus was overcooked, spinach salad was soggy and overdressed. But the calamari and the baked shrimp scampi were good.
Had a great time with a friend over drinks and small plates. Service was friendly and attentive and my Caesar salad was the best I’ve had anywhere!
The service and food was excellent. We will be back.
Everything was really good. We ordered the copper river salmon king and silver and both were were excellent. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and salad was tasty. I have eaten at Anthony’s many times but this was definitely the best tasting meal I’ve had there. Hats off to the chef.
Service and setting were perfect. Window seat and got to watch the sun go down over the docked boats.
The only thing that was not so good was my wife's steak. It was overdone for a medium well. She could not eat much of it. Other than that everything was very good.
It’s always wonderful to sit by the water while dining. Everything included in the twilight dinner was tasty, including the warm sourdough bread. The staff was friendly and courteous. One of my favorite places to go when I’m visiting family in Seattle.
