Welcome to Anthony's Hearthfire Grill in Olympia! Built on pilings extending over Budd Inlet, our restaurant hosts a stunning, unobstructed view of the South Puget Sound.     Not a good experience. The food was just ok. The service was not good. The waitress came back 20 mins after leaving the food and we needed a knife to cut it with The worst part wa the waitress spilled a fill glass of some type of drink from a tray she placed behind my husbands head and it spilled over onto him. Granted it wasn’t the full glass, but it got him wet and ice was on his seat. She jetted off with a feeble sorry, didn’t check on him or act concerned and I had to flag her down later to get a towel.

    Ordered the salmon salad… asked to upgrade to copper river salmon salad… it came and it wasn’t very good… had mushy strawberry goo that was all over it…. Was really gross… wiped it off. Overall a very average salmon salad… not tasty… and the kicker… the price almost doubled per plate… never mentioned that the upgrade was to that level. 7/8 bucks could have been reasonable… … even $10. But $20??? Beeen dining here for almost 20 years . Besides the view the food has been going up in price and down in quality. This was our summertime hangout … will be looking elsewhere

    Had lunch there. Our meal was delicious and server was great. I ordered their seasonal salad and server asked If I wanted to top it with salmon or chicken. When I got the check, they had charged me $49 dollars for just my salad alone! When I asked if that was correct they took the bill to the manager. He cane over to talk to me and said it was because they had topped it with Copper River Salmon and that’s why it was so high. To his credit, he took my meal off the bill since I hadn’t been informed on the price. I still can’t get over the price though. If you go to a seafood market in Olympia the price per pound for Copper River Salmon is about $26. I had maybe a half pond of fish, so it still didn’t justify the price. But, it was definitely delicious and server and manager were kind.

    The food was fantastic! I had the lincod for the first time in my life and I did not regret my decision. The fish is amazing, the staff are great giving the atmosphere a very high class vibe.

    Was there for Father’s day order steak and lobster. The steak was wonderful,mashed potatoes and vegetables were also very good. However the lobster was horrible. I’ve never had lobster that smelled fishy. Brought the lobster home and ended up trashing it the smell and taste were unbearable. I’m not sure if the lobster was stored to close to fish or if it was just bad.

    Deeeeelicious - just like always! And the view is outstanding! We’ve never been at Hearthfire when the tide is so low!
