Anthony's Hearthfire Grill Olympia
It's Anthony's!! =)
We supported them during the lockdown (grrr) but it was just not the same. So glad there are open again and making usual stride. Our visits have always been great. We truly enjoy the food, the ambiance, the water view tables, outdoor seating for Happy Hour ... Yep, we love us some Anthony's!
Went for lunch. Portions were small for price. Chowder was a little runny.
Try Anthony Hellfire and grill downtown Olympia right off the water beautiful restaurant Great Steak salads desert kind of spendy but you get what you pay for.
The setting is the draw, because it sits right in the middle of Budd Inlet. But food and service are consistently very good.
This has become our favorite "Night Out" place. With the longer daylight hours, the view is always good. The wait staff is always friendly and does their best to accommodate your requests.
The food, although somewhat limited in seafood choices, is always served hot and well prepared.
Good for a late lunch or early dinner.
Unbelievable view. Great food and service! Can’t wait to go back again.
Had a nice dinner at Hearthfire with my wife. The service was good, as usual and tried the burger for the first time. It was great and my wife had the prawns. She enjoyed them as well. Nice views and good service made for a good birthday dinner.
The staff is very attentive. The food is outstanding! The atmosphere is very nice. The only downfall is the noise level. Everything else is wonderful!
We had a window seat on a sunny day. Best place to eat lunch in Olympia on a sunny day. Had the always good the cod sandwich. Our server and hostess were outstanding and took good care of us.
Went for Velentines day dinner, so business above normal. But staff still on top of everything. Server was excited and fantastic. Ordered the beef Wellington and a glass of wine to go with. Would certainly order again. And return to special nights
Evelyn and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on Valentine's day since we married many years ago on February 14th.
Our food was well prepared; no complaints.
Our attendant was very attentive and even took an image of Evelyn and me together on our special day.
I recommend this place if you want to enjoy good food and service.
They were busy for Valentine Dinner. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and food was served hot and properly prepared. Server was attentive and friendly but not overly so.
As busy as they were, we never had a feeling of being rushed and enjoyed our after dinner wine by our window table.
Got to the restaurant early but we were still seated immediately. The food was exceptional.
Celebrating our 21st anniversary. The staff and especially our waitress Jasmine H. was fantastic. The food was good and deserts were wonderful.
The waitstaff were very friendly and I enjoyed the food.
We went for the early bird dinner and it was great. Good selection of food, excellent views and we had a really good waitress. Our place to go in Olympia
We felt ignored and our requests were not listened to. I asked for a baked potato with my salmon but I got the corn bread which my husband ate. He gave me his potato. Our waitress was nice but so busy with everyone else that we did not get our salad for about an hour after our 5:30 reservation. Our bill was $122 so for that amount we would expect a little more attention and timely service.
My wife loves going to Anthony's. It is her favorite restaurant in Olympia!
Great place to any special occasion. Seafood lovers delight!
Lunch menu - salmon was grilled and tasty but dry and the steaks ordered were small for the cost. Otherwise, the food was good as always.
Good food, but the menu is limited. The place is very nice. The service is little long for weekdays.
My girlfriend got sick off the crab that evening. The experience was good but the food wasn’t.
Cheerful atmosphere. My shrimp was very flavorful and delicious my husband had the prosciutto mac & cheese and he said it was fairly bland. A great spot for a depressing rainy nasty night!
Great view, good service, prices a bit high for what you get but you are paying for the ambiance.
Love the ambiance of the place, they just need to update their menu with some new stuff, and their bar service is slow. other than that we've enjoyed going there all the time.
Food was great, service was wonderful!
Haven't been for awhile, but took an employment candidate from out of town here and it was a wonderful representation of Olympia - busy restaurant, good food, great view!
This was my first time at this restaurant. The building is very attractive, the interior is very modern, and the view was wonderful. The doors don’t open for lunch until 11:30; people were waiting to get in, so it took 5 minutes or so to get seated (we had a reservation). Staff was a little disorganized; if you’re not going to open earlier, then staff need to be ready to seat immediately.
Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall, he did a good job, but did make an error on 2 people’s checks, having to redo them.
My main disappointment was with the food. I had the crab and corn chowder trio - soup, small side Caesar salad, and small piece of focaccia bread. The soup was thin, watery, and very little crab; it tasted mostly like milk. We had to ask for more bread because the first piece provided was so small. Apparently due to the influx of early diners (try opening at 11am!) they didn’t have enough bread initially. For $15, the quality of the soup should be MUCH better.
I’ll not rush back.
Made reservations for 6:15 pm on a Thursday. Arrived early about 6. Crowded as they were doing a promotion. Didn't expect to not get seated until after 6:35. Was offered a free appetizer for late seating despite reservations (it looked like they seated a couple of arrivals without reservations ahead of us). Food was disappointing. Prawns were overcooked and chewy. Cod was so-so. No side veggies. Just some chopped up yams for both entrees.
The food was pretty good, but the wait staff seemed harried and unhappy. We had reasonable service but I would never call it "friendly."
Always a favorite. It’s a beautiful venue, delicious food and exceptional service. Enjoy!
My wife and I are very upset with your bait and switch coupon that was sent out for $20 off a meal. After our meal was over we were told that we could not use the coupon because we had chosen items on the menu that the coupon would not apply to. Why invite people to your restaurant with your coupon and then say you cannot use it. We have told all of our friends about this little scam hoping that they do not visit your restaurant. We have a lot of friends.
The next time you offer another coupon, have the decency to make it apply to your entire menu.
Really love the reservation system. I made the same day in the morning was a very simple process. We were greeted warmly and taken to a wonderful booth. The view was amazing. the Waitress was fabulous and felt like an old friend. Cannot wait to bring some friends there soon.
Excellent food and service. The restaurant was packed when we arrived but we were seated right on time. We had the salmon and the cod, both well prepared...juicy, excellent blend of spices, cooked just right. Condiments were excellent as well and made sense with the entree. Wait staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about menu items. Ambiance was warm and inviting. Highly recommend.
Location and staff were very nice. Food not so much. Our teenager ordered man and cheese which she barely touched because it was so bland. But pretty spot. More vegetarian options would be nice
Have already recommended Anthony's to friends. Enjoyed my experience there and would 10/10 go back. In fact, I probably will be back for a birthday dinner in July.
This is a great place for a water view, great food, easy to make reservations short notice. Price is moderate and love the design, but a little noisy/busy.
Thanks for the $20 coupon as I never go out to dinner and the experience and food was great
The food was not what we have come to appreciate. The waiter was only interested in talking to me, was almost rude and condescending to my elderly parents. I was very disappointed with the experience and will not recommend to anyone.
The views from the Hearthfire are really great. The services was a little sub par for Anthony’s. The food was great. The only problem we had was the bill was added up wrong and we were charged $8 more than the bill showed. The numbers DID NOT add up. Check your bill
