Anthony's Hearthfire Grill Olympia
We had such a good time! We dined with our kids and new grandbaby. A special chair was brought out to support the baby carrier. Wonderful hostess who had our table ready. Great waitress who was very attentive and engaged in making our dinner successful. Great food, as well!
Great place to dine for special occasions. All tables have view of the water and service is very attentive.
Our waiter, Vincent, was outstanding. Very attentive but not in our face every time we turned around. He made us feel very welcome from start to finish.
The only complaint I would make would be the "Crispy" Calamari was not crispy and we were disappointed with that.
I was just disappointed with the burnt cream dessert. The sugar was too thick and the cream was too thin.
Good food and service. Love the view👍 I will definitely go back
We were served in the bar and then move to our table on the waterfront. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smiling face, the bartender was quick and knowledgeable and our waiter was very personable. All four of our dinners where exactly as ordered. Our table ordered a lot of diversified selections including gluten-free. It was yummy! Thank you for creating such a lovely evening.
Service was beyond amazing. Food was great. We will be back.
Service was slow. My husband and I got our drinks within the first 10mins of being seated but the children had to wait an additional 10mins to get theirs. We also had to wait over 30mins to get our bread by which time the food was a few mins from being deliverd. This used to be our go to place but things seem to be slipping.
The food had hair in it first and then the second steak came out blue rare.
Beautiful restaurant on the water. Excellent wait staff. Delicious food. What more can I say? 😊
Birthday dinner with my best girl. Totally great experience, food was exceptional and service was great. Look forward to our next dining out event at Anthony’s.
Anthony's is merely second to none in everything they do. On line booking is very easy and a pleasure to use. manager and staff greeted us upon arrival and we just had the worlds greatest server. made the experience very memorable and one we would like to share with others in the future. You'll be our first-second and third choice to bring friends and family. Just love your place!
It's a nice place. Prices aren't too bad and the menu selection fits most palates. It was busy during our visit. I'm glad I had a reservation. Our server (Cory) was a little bit stretched. My wife and I think he forgot to drop a couple of items (bread/appetizers and entree) we ordered as we seemed to be served later than others who came in behind us. Not really a complaint but it was an irritant.
Our server was amazing! And one of the cooks was really engaging with my 8-year-old, who wants to be a chef. (Unfortunately, I didn't get his name but he is tall and has dreadlocks.)
I was pretty excited to have dinner here. The picture of the Surf n Turf on Facebook looked amazing. The picture, versus what was served to us was a different story. We received very, very little crab and my steak was something I really had to work at to get down. It was so hard to chew. My MIL said hers was good, but was also very disappointed in the "surf" part of our $25 dish. Our server was great as was the view. Not sure that we will be back.
Liked atmosphere. Getting a table was quick with reservation.
If I was going slowly off my last dinner visit, I wouldn't recommend hearthfire. The food was all right for the price, but not at the same level I expect from an Anthony's restaurant. The service was also mediocre, including a very long wait to get the check paid. Noise level was the biggest problem overall. It was so loud, I was hoarse at the end of dinner from talking loud enough for my partner to hear me.
When I've gone for lunch previously, it's been much better. So I might do that and avoid dinner next time.
Even with reservations had to wait 20 min. No drinks for 25 min. Service was very slow and waiter lost my coupon. Not happy with service but the food was great as always.
We had a nice time celebrating with friends for their anniversary. Sunset dinner menu was great.
The ONLY complaint we might have during this wonderful meal was the length of time between courses for our sunset dinners. It was as if our waitress abandoned us! Or just wasn't watching to see how we were doing. LONG time between salads and entrees especially. But the food was marvelous, great value and not overly noisy as so many restaurants are.
We made reservations and expressed interest in a nice quiet table away from any crowd. We got everything we wanted and the service was great. Shelly was amazing and provided us everything we wanted.
Had noted it was our anniversary (31st) and they did not even indicate knowledge or anything. Was disappointed re that, otherwise all else was good.
food and location are great service was good just a little slow as they were very busy too noisy for our liking hard to hold a conversation over noise level but that is just our opinion most likely great for a younger crowd
The view from our table was beautiful, food was good and arrived quickly. The staff was very welcoming and friendly!
Food was amazing. The service is always spot on but our server this time was very slow and unattentive. I could see my martini sitting at the bar for 20 minutes before he brought it over and before that I waited 15 minutes before he even asked what I wanted to drink. We went for the early dinner special and it was not busy at all. I can’t see him still being there the next time we go bc hearthfire has high standards
The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. I enjoyed visiting with a friend. It was easy to relax. The food was very satisfying.
We were seated promptly at 6, just under the wire for taking advantage of the "Early dinner" specials, 4 courses for $26. This is a good deal, generous shrimp cocktail appetizers, your choice of soup or salad of which we had one of each, both very nice, a selection of four dinner entrees, 2 seafood, one chicken, one beef, and dessert. Have a "jar pie", the key lime was very flavorful, the huckleberry succulent. Next time one of us is going for the chocolate. The view is great, it feels like being somewhere other than Olympia. We agreed we will eat here again.
Very convenient to make reservations on line. The early special is a good deal
Nice relaxing meal with a view of the harbor
The food was fantastic as was the service. Highly recommend!
Great service, good food, but my salad had a bone in it, which could have been very dangerous. Scary. I’m glad I didn’t swallow it.
Very disappointed in timeliness of food it should not take a hour to serve steak and prawns. Food served cold as well.
Service seemed slow. Appetizer came well before cocktails we ordered. Even water was in short supply. Surprising on a slow Sunday. Ribs were quite tough.
The Hearthfine wines and beer offered at Happy hour are very good value. The smoked chicken is really tastey as are the fresh veggies. They have nice seasonal desserts too.
Excellent food, great wait staff...very nice lunch!
Service was friendly but slow. Two of our entrees were over cooked and dry (barbecued prawns). Barbecue sauce totally cooked away, so not a good recommendation by our waiter. The appetizers, sides, and dessert were good to very good, as were the other 2 entrees. I’ve been there before and had better food, but I won’t hurry back.
The drinks and service were very good. But the food was not great.
The service was excellent. Everyone at our table ordered off the early dinner menu, the food was not only delicious but a great price. We all enjoyed having a window table so we could enjoy the seals playing in the bay.
It was a date night and I have eaten here many times before so I figured why not go out and enjoy a well prepared meal. The meal was ok not exactly what I was hoping to get but I figure maybe they where having an off day. Just hope it doesn’t continue.
Bad service and food with a beautiful view.
