Anthony's Hearthfire Grill Bellingham
Loved using the Open Table app. We were able to walk right in and be seated! We were given a wonderful window seat!
Lovely dinner on what was a sombre occasion for our family (the anniversary of our mom's death). The server was excellent, the good was good, can't beat the view and overall it was a very pleasant evening.
This is our favorite restaurant! The food is delicious, the service is spot on, the beauty of being by the marina and the ambiance make it a sure bet.
Nice restaurant but way overpriced! We went there during happy hour but were very disappointed that we weren't able to take advantage of that because we weren't able to sit in the bar which was full.
I definitely would return to try more dishes. The mushrooms were amazing and the Beef Wellington was "Melt - in - your - Mouth good.
Amazing! Went for Valentines Day with my fiancé and the service was great and the food was fantastic. I got the Steak Oscar which was a special for the night and it was out of this world. A tiny bit noisy but not too disruptive to conversation. The hostess was great and took a picture for us as well. We are definitely making this our “special occasion” spot!
The perfect Valentines Day dinner. Thanks
We were looking forward to eating here for Valentine’s Day. The server was nice, she had great customer service. The salad and bread were good but the main course was not good. My mashed potatoes and husbands baked potato were super cold, both of our string beans were raw and inedible. The filet mignon that came was thin, hard to cut, tough to chew just awful. For $41 I expected a lot better, honestly Applebee’s does a better steak meal for half the price!! To top it off my husband was sick ALL NIGHT!!! we will never return
Great food & service!
Excellent all the way around. A perfect spot for dinner before a performance at MBT! Thank you!
I have celiac disease so I appreciate the tasty and safe food at The Hearthfire. The wait staff is attentive and helpful.
We wanted to eat down at the bay so we were happy that we could get reservations online. We were early so we went for the early dinner menu. I had my heart set on a nice baked potato, which wasn’t on that menu but when I mentioned it our server offered that I could swap it out for the regular menu item. I appreciated that, and of course the potato was delicious.
The food, service and ambiance here is always reliably good. I had the flank steak, which came with a tasty chipotle cumin seasoning and a very nice cranberry relish. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and was also surprisingly tender. The cornbread pudding that came with the steak was delicious. My husband had the panko crusted cod which was also very good. A new feature that we enjoyed was the red wine sampler.
Great service! Early dinner was delicious!
The food and ambiance were nice for a Friday evening. The server had a hard time opening the wine bottle due to not using the cork remover correctly. I would have taken the partially opened bottle with cork pieces in it, but was not offered. Will hope to be back for another occasion to celebrate.
This was our 3rd or 4th time to this restaurant but it had been over a year. From our reservation we were seated quickly. We both had the flank steak and thought it was great. A very nice meal in a scenic location for a wonderful date night.
The view of the boat harbor was great. The food was great. The service was very slow. We were seated and the server did not show for 15 minutes. We wanted some bread with our drinks. We had to ask the bus person to get us some. He was great and had it there for us in seconds. He would be the server. Great personality and cared about our needs. Our server did not.
Lovely marina view with superb food. Margarita shrimp with fettuccine was decadently satisfying. Flank steak was excellent. We really appreciated that serving sizes were filling while being reasonable. No wasted food at our table.
Best fish and chips I have had and is coming from a New Englander
I have been there a few times and my favorite is the Early Dinner multi-course dinner for a special dinner at a good price point. It does get busy and we were seated about 15 minutes after our reservation, but my child and I enjoyed watched the cooking in the open cooking. The woodfire grilled flank steak was delicious and cooked perfectly along with ample sides of grilled veggies and corn pudding, kind of like cheesy grits. The shrimp cocktail and ceasar salad was fresh and well paced prior to the entree. The creme brulee was good too, but I was full from dinner! The martini was a bit watery and had ice chips in it however so that needed improvement. Servers were nice and positive. They have a kids menu as well and the spiral mac and cheese was enjoyed too! We had a nice intergenerational experience.
Server was also bartender, bad service. Fish was nothing special.
Beautiful views, wonderful food, great service.
Anthony’s Hearthfire has now become a tradition for my husband and I to dine at on New Year’s Eve.
Great Service and great food. My wife and I try to have an early dinner at Hearthfire at least once a month. We enjoy the early dining specials...
The food was good and nothing really fancy. The view is fantastic and the very good service!
Christmas Eve! Lovely dinner and great service!
Terrific service, great drinks and consistent food prep!!
Very enjoyable evening!! Love the Earlybird menu. And celebrated my birthday at our favorite restaurant.
Had a lovely evening with family before leaving town. Food was great, service was great, and the view is wonderful. Definitely get something with the fresh salmon! Everyone was happy!
Food was excellent, bread appetizer fantastic, but restaurant is too noisy, and booths too cramped. Tables looked a little better than booths, but still seemed a bit small for three or four people (e.g., where we saw three or four people seated at a table, it looked a bit crowded).
First time at Hearthfire Grill; menu is a bit narrow, but food and service were quite good in a nice atmosphere.
We had a wonderful time visiting with family for a Saturday lunch. The view was beautiful, food was very tasty, we had a wonderful time overall.
We have always enjoyed Hearthfire, but were so terribly disappointed with our dinners. We ordered well done steaks. . .not burned! They were burned and so were the veggies. Our server was very nice, but the food was not good.
Exceptional food. I had the big Pork chop. Done to perfection. My wife had large prawns. Her salad was tasty while I had the French Onion soup. Will return as soon as I save up some money
Overall a great dining experience. Great atmosphere and service. The steaks were great. My only comment is that my baked potato was barely warm. We will definitely come back in the future.
The evening was more than we expected. We are elderly couple celebrating our 65th wedding anniversary and chose Anthony's. The service was outstanding . Food was delicious and more then we expected. We were seated a little a head of reservation time, that was perfect for the beautiful sunset. Our table was on the upper level by the bar making the noise level high. We will definitely be back to Anthony's.
Delicious corn & crab chowder!
We selected Hearthfire due to the view, but were pleasantly surprised by the great seating with a great sunset, excellent service and delicious food. It was an important anniversary so by their design or luck, we sat by the windows and had a wonderful meal of St. Louis Ribs and Filet Mignon. We took the trio of mason jar pies home for dessert. Our grandkids loved them!
When I want a quiet comfortable restaurant with good food, service and a great view I always go to the Hearthfire. I have never been disappointed.
If was their special Escape Halloween coupon dinner for $20 off two dinners. They were very busy, even early, and probably a little understaffed.
