This was to be an anniversary date night that fell very flat. The ambiance is beautiful and the hostess was very pleasant and seated us promptly. Our server greeted us right away and took our beverage order. Upon delivering our drinks, he took our starter and salad orders, giving us time to decide on our entrees. The menu is very extensive, with something for everyone. We were never offered bread service, although the tables arriving after us received bread. No big deal - why fill up on bread when you can enjoy everything else? Our crab cake arrived quickly and was very good. The same with our salad and ceviche. When we went to order our main course, my husband ordered the salmon, and the server was quick to recommend the halibut. He said it was a seasonal dish that was so well received that it made in onto the permanent menu. We changed his choice to the halibut and finished out our order, complete with sides. This is where is all went sideways. It took more than 30 minutes to receive our meals and when we did they were both over cooked. My ravioli was tough, but at least had a good flavor. My husband's was dry the fish was just not prepared to his liking. I asked if we could have my meal and sides boxed up and our table was cleared. We sipped on a complimentary glass of champagne given to us to celebrate our anniversary and were presented the check. After signing the bill, I asked if I could have my boxes to take home and were told that the chef had thrown everything away. I hope this serves as a lesson in service recovery and actually listening to your guests. Left very disappointed.
Everything was excellent! We had a great evening! I have to say I am a bit disappointed that the Hot Chicken entree was taken off the menu though. I had the brown butter ravioli though and it was very good.
We went to Anthony's for the first time and for our anniversary. We've been to many steakhouses before and typically if there is a special occasion a free dessert comes out, or even just a decorated plate with the dessert that is ordered. Not that we need this but it added to the fact that the food was just okay. I had the Halibut and it was really dry and could have used a sauce of some kind. My husband's steak had a different spice on it that was not mentioned in the menu but something he didn't care for. Plus, his steak came out with an egg over easy which was sort of strange and again not noted anywhere. Overall, the ambiance was great and our server was very nice. Just nothing spectacular for the price.
Steaks perfectly cooked to order. Upper dining area noise level perfect for conversation. Service was outstanding.
The pleasure was all ours! Delicious food, amazing staff - servers, asst. servers, hostess desk, valet and more. @anthonyschophouse raises the bar in every way. Thank you for making our anniversary even more special and for calling when we left behind my husband’s wallet! We will be back every anniversary and then some!
Overall a really nice Anniversary experience!
The food was amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious. Our server Myron made the evening great! He was knowledgeable and humorous! I would always request to sit at his table! The atmosphere is fun and light! Can’t say enough good things about this place. What a great experience!
Justin did an excellent job introducing us to Anthony’s, fist with a great wine recommendation and then explaining the menu.
The decor is riveting and so much glass everywhere!
Unfortunately, the menu left a lot to be desired as the only soup offered, a lobster bisque, did not garner a fan here due to the breaded piece of lobster and lobster shell was offsetting. Tiny portion as well.
The NY Strip was over cooked and still flavorful but I prefer those at Ruth’s Chris. Twice broiled Yukon potatoes were not warm and too chunky to be liked.
Desserts offered were very limited and so we passed.
Tried it once and will stick with proven restaurants like RC or Prime 47.
Anniversary celebration. Our server Kaleb was great. Just the right amount of attention. They helped us celebrate with a complimentary champagne toast and dessert.
Dinner was fantastic. Truly a great spot to gather good friends for good food and make lasting memories! Thank You!
The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. The lobster bisque is a must. Steak delicious. Can’t wait to return.
Nice evening. Craig was great. Looking forward to the next visit.
Great food, cool location. Steak house prices but steak house quality of food and service.
Dined One of us ordered medium rare, and it was practically still kicking on the plate. Another at the table ordered medium, and it was medium rare. Taste was delicious but both needed a few more minutes on the grill. Rest of the food was delicious.
Ambience nice. When we finally received our food, almost an hour later, it was good. Not worth the money. Not sure why they don’t have salt and pepper shakers, was given a dish with a spoon. Was checked on but not offered any dessert or money off of bill do to such a long wait. Shouldn’t have to make a big deal when they themselves realize there’s an issue. Just won’t be back. Not sure what the big deal is about this place. Love Sullivan’s and Ruth’s Steakhouse better.
Loved it but Brussels sprouts too salty otherwise love ambience
Good service and excellent food. The appetizers (crab and pork belly) were delicious. Entrees good and large portions. We took home enough for a meal the next night.
Our server Tony was awesome. He was very appeasing to a group of old ladies. Loved him.
Great service, excellent food and an interesting wine list. I would recommend Anthony’s for a special occasion.
Absolutely stunning. The food beat my expectations and blew me away. Only thing I'd say is that service took a little long at times.
Newlyweds and was acknowledged. Server was awesome. Great night!!!
The noise inside was unbearable for dinner conversation. We were also seated on the aisle of a busy row of tables after my reservation clearly stated we wanted a quiet area for dinner conversation. We ended up asking to be moved outside so we could hear each other and not be bumped by people passing through. Our service was fair, but the foods we chose were good.
Great service, delicious and unique plates. Love the craft cocktails and don’t forget to swing by the rooftop bar after dinner for a cocktail and view of the city!
Had a great lunch. The presentation was beautiful and the food delicious. The portion was just right. Looking forward to going again.
Anthony's a gem in the Midwest. It is one of my favorite Steak houses in the country. It is my son's absolute favorite and a must stop every time we visit Carmel
One of the best meals I've ever had. The pork belly was to die for!
We frequent good steakhouses, and this one is in our top 3 ever. The only reason that it's not top 3 is because they seated us in the bar area despite having a reservation a few weeks in advance, which was a bit louder for a while. Overall it was excellent.
Meal was overpriced. Food quality not near price point. Server was extremely pushy and trying to up sell all night. Steak was average at best. Cooked to proper temperature but meat was bland. Not a top ten steakhouse in my book. Was not half full on a beautiful Friday night, so maybe everyone has figured out high prices don’t mean good food.
First time dining at Anthony's. Sat outside which was very nice. Server was well informed on the menu and very attentive. Steaks were cooked to perfection. This was our anniversary diner and the restaurant did a good job acknowledging the occasion.
Food was fabulous, wine selection very nice.
Great experience overall. Caleb, our waiter, did a fantastic job.
We had an amazing dinner at Anthony’s for our anniversary. It was our first time dining here. They started our dinner with champagne since we were celebrating and a special note from the restaurant. Everything from wine to starters to steaks to dessert was delicious. The wagyu filet was superb. Our server, Craig, provided exceptional service. Everything was absolutely perfect for our special celebratory dinner. We will definitely be back!
My wife and I had a wonderful date night out for our anniversary, great wine selection and our server lead us with a great recommendation. The food was great, my ribeye was perfect and my wife raved about the scallops! We were treated to a bread pudding for our special occasion and it hit my wife’s sweet tooth just right! Thanks for the great night out!
We went to Anthony’s for our anniversary and it was phenomenal! We each started with a Caesar salad. My husband ordered a filet with lobster Oscar and I had the filet with bone marrow butter. They were both so delicious! We, also, had the Brussels au gratin and creamy Mac. Definitely a great go-to for any occasion!
Greatttt! Awesome food and service.
It’s finally great! We’d been to Anthony’s Chophouse twice when it opened and we were less than impressed and had no desire to return. However, I read they changed their menu and it’s a great location so we rode our bikes there this spring and ate outside and it was fantastic! So excited! You can tell the staff/managers have really stepped up their game. Our waiter, Myron, was wonderful with great recommendations and really added to our dining experience. Definitely get the Gooey Cake for dessert. And eat outside if the weather permits. Can’t wait to return!
Great location, good & service.
Service was great, drinks were good, the food was what you would expect and sitting outside on the Monon Trail was the best part. FYI there was plenty of shade in the afternoon on the patio.
Red wine was served warm. Steak wasn’t very hot, and seemed like it sat out for a little.
This was my 1st time at Anthony's Chophouse. Was looking for an alternative to Ruth's Chris or Sullivan's & this filled the bill!! Upscale decor, nicely spaced seating, and FABULOUS food. We shared a salad (which they split for us in the kitchen), each had a steak, shared the corn & carrot side dishes then each had a dessert. The side dishes were creative & just enough for 2 people having a 4 course meal. Despite the tastiness of the desserts, we did take half of each one home. The Wagyu beef was phenomenal!
