Anthony's at Coeur D'Alene
Great experience as always. Great to be able to sit outside too,
Reason I gave 4 stars was that service was a little slow initially. We didn’t get our bread when we got our drinks. Got bread when food arrived though after I asked about the bread. Other than that, it was a perfect dinner. We sat outdoors by the pond. Great ambiance!
We have only been to Anthony's twice. Our first experience a few years ago was so good that we were looking forward to going back. This time around was a no go. The steak was cooked correctly but had not flavor. The same was true of the Salmon my wife ordered. The best part of the meal was the rice pilaf and baked potato and of course the sour dough bread is awesome. For the money we were extremely disappointed. For $100 I wanted our anniversary dinner to be rememberable. It was, but not for the right reasons! We do not plan on returning.
This was our first time eating out in 5 months and the entire staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. We enjoyed all our meals and the berry cheesecake was the perfect finish to our meal. Thanks!
Absolutely wonderful! Great service, fantastic food and friendly.
This was our favorite restaurant in Coeur d’Alene. If we hadn’t gone there on our last night in town, we may have ate there every night! Christine, our waitress, was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. She even answered our questions on Huckleberries! If you are in Coeur d’Alene and want to get away from the busy resort area for a great meal, I highly recommend Anthony’s. We had the crab cakes and halibut, both were great! Nice views as well!
I had the Halibut the first two times we ate here, sooo good, cooked perfect, tender & flaky. This time we ordered the Walleye and Lingcod and switched half way through! Both were amazing. I’ll try the Salmon next, my husband had it while I was eating the Halibut. Total recommend!
I ordered shrimp fettucine which had great flavor, pasta and presentation, but unfortunately the shrimp was the small boiled type that looks like it came out of a can rather than fresh sauteed in the dish. Would have been excellent with larger, fresh sauteed shrimp.
Good food, just not great for the price. Beautiful outdoor porch, great servers.
Great food, prompt service, knowledgeable server.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening on the patio. A sunny afternoon so a bit warm in the sun, we were fortunate to be at a table with an umbrella. Appetizers were delicious and the service was very good. We would definitely return.
All ways a great dinner, and the location is just beautiful. Great place, food, drinks, and value.
The food was great---as always. Friendly service and large portions. The sunset dinners can't be beat.
Anthony’s is in a great location on the edge of a small lake and city park. The patio is beautiful with generous spaces to enjoy there delicious food. The server was friendly and professional, just the right balance.
We have eaten here many times. Love the patio for the ambiance. The food is always top notch, and service impeccable.
The food and service was very good. I made a reservation for outside, but when I arrived and they told me all seats in the sun. The people behind us took the outside and a worker moved an umbrella To get them in the shade. Disappointed on the seating since I had a reservation.
The view from the restaurant is peaceful and beautiful. The food is consistently excellent and the servers are very efficient and personable.
Cody was our server and he was fun, attentive and informative. The huckleberry mojito was delicious and the halibut and salmon were unbelievably tasty. Fabulous ambiance. Highly recommend!!!
We were able to walk to this restaurant and found a fun and open atmosphere that I’ll bet really hops during normal operating conditions. Once again, understanding that the coved crisis is playing a major role in operations, the hostess station is weak. Our reservation was acknowledged and then we waited and waited with no updates from two girls who may have been a little rattled trying to find open tables when many are closed off but all you need do is keep your customers informed. That said once were seated the server was very busy but pleasant and efficient. We had a bottle of white wine and we both had the walleye which was delicious. I started with a very nice spinach salad. An Uber driver told us on a previous day that the restaurant next door was better but I would not hesitate to revisit Anthony.
Clam chowder was the best we’ve had, calimari was wonderful! My husband and the grilled shrimp and I had the sockeye on the early bird menu. The meal was a great value and delicious
Food was good. Service was great. They were abiding by recommendations to keep their staff and customers safe. We were pleased
The coconut prawns and Huckleberry Mojitos are my favorite two things there. Sitting out on the patio over looking the lake was fantastic. We ended up eating there twice while visiting CD’A
Fun night out with my hubby
Great food. Great view. $36 for crab cakes. Kinda high.
We made reservations and drove an hour to have dinner only to be told that they were closed because of an "incident".
Overall outstanding. Outdoor dining was great as the view and fresh air was perfect. Pamela was a great host for our dining experience. Too bad we don’t live here as we would be back again and again.
Nice they have outside seating overlooking the water.
They did it again. Had a great great meal, fantastic service and ambience. Our waiter Luke took expert care of my wife and I. The food was outstanding!! We've been in there many times and can never get over the fact that they do it RIGHT every single time. The manager, Jason is a very friendly individual who clearly has the right knack for assembling a great team. Every single time we've been there has been outstanding. Even the "waiter's assistant", Alex, was a on this team of excellence. Great personalities all! Made our meal so pleasant. Sounds like I probably own Anthony's but the truth is we just like to reward excellence!! Can't wait to go again!!
Waitress seemed miffed that we only wanted waters, didn't order an extra salad or dessert. Had to ask for water refill and condiments when they ran out. Maybe bigger spenders (more than $50 for 2) get treated better?
Great food and service each and every time we have been here... We will be back next visit to Coeur d’Alene.
Great service and the food was so good! Great drinks, meals and dessert.
Love this Restaurant!
Can’t wait until they open up for lunch!
Would love to have some crab/Lobster.
None available this trip.
Looking forward to Jaimie waiting on us!
She is top notch!!
My husband loves seafood but given my allergy, rarely gets to enjoy. According to him, the scallops he had were beautifully cooked and the sauce was amazing! I had the sirloin and was pleasantly surprised by its flavor and texture- delicious!
We sat outside on the patio and the view was beautiful. Love hearing the sound of the water in the background. The staff was very accommodating and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the steel head and it was incredible
The food was outstanding and the service was great!!
A beautiful building with great location on water and very nice covered patio seating. Bonus: mother mallard and her ducklings roaming the patio. Had excellent wild walleye fruit studded basmati rice.
We highly recommend the walleye if it is available! Yummy!
Our server was attentive and friendly. They did a good job working with the virus rules and restrictions. Will definitely go back!
The food was okay. For the price it wasn’t what I was hoping for. I felt like it was subpar for the amount we spent on four people. Probably will not come back. Was decent for the first time trying it.
Food was absolutely delicious!
Server was courteous and attentive.
I got my requested view table when making the reservation.
It was a wonderful Father’s Day experience!
Thanks everyone and we will be back.
