Best dinner we had in Kyoto! Chef Dan is a gifted chef who prepares each dish with such care and every course is delicious. We loved the dinner but also his company. He makes you feel at home as he cooks and serves you dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant!! It’s worth every dollar!

If you're looking for a memorably amazing dinner in Kyoto- exquisitely prepared, beautifully plated and terrifically explained by owner Chef Dan, Another C is 5 star dining at its finest. Chef Dan does it all! I'm not the type of person to write restaurant reviews ;in fact I hate writing them. But a meal and the experience this good is worth writing about. Thank you Chef Dan for creating a memory for me that will last forever.

A really fantastic food experience in an intimate setting. You and a few other costumers seating in front of Dan, watching him create beautiful and spectacular dishes. Each one absolutely delicious. All accompanied by a sake made by Dan’s friend. Incredible

Chef Dan is amazing, the view down to the streets below is very cool, his music selection perfectly sets the atmosphere and the food is impeccable! Michelin worthy, in a unique and fun atmosphere. This was the best meal our group of six had in our two week trip across Japan. Don’t hesitate, book your reservation here now!

8 seat maximum Every course was excellent. Not cheap, but the upper end of the Kyoto dining scene is NOT inexpensive. Have spent just as much on inferior meals in Kyoto. You feel that you have been welcomed into Dan's private kitchen. I'd put Another C in the top 5- 10 of my dining experiences internationally over the past 30 years

This was one of the most memorable dinners we've had in a long time. The food was excellent and prepared by one single person, Chef Dan. He's a one-man show, working marvels in his kitchen and delighting his dinner guests as if he were serving them in his home kitchen. If you want to try something different, don't miss Another C. You will be glad you did.
