After many years of experience cooking Nepalese food abroad, Roshita Shrestha brought her talents to Seattle and opened Annapurna Café. Her experiences with cooking have also been garnered from years in India and Tibet. At Annapurna Café, you’ll find a menu that includes items from all of these backgrounds and more.

There are vegan options like the chat-pata papadum, nine different types of bread and a number of entrées made with chcken and lamb. Be sure to check out the Yeti bar at Annapurna Café too, a nod to the beast said to roam the Himalayas. Artwork depicting the yeti provides the background to wine and beer bottles from all over the world.

I enjoyed our food a lot and it was a very busy environment so even though we had made a reservation it wasn't possible to seat us for awhile. They also did lose our order ticket and had to come back to the table. Overall it was a positive experience but perhaps wouldn't go there on a Saturday.

Just as you enter the restaurant and start the descent down the stairs, the amazing smells grab you! The service is great and the food is even better! Loved it and will go back, but make a reservation first!

Very good Nepalese cuisine restaurant.
Definitely try lamb spring rolls & fresh veg samosas for appetizer and the Masu dish (Nepalese Goat cuisine) for main course.
I'm a North Indian and a big foodie so it's hard to impress me.
The only problem is, it's a small place, so be ready for a long wait (45 min) or make a reservation

The food is the reason to go here which is obviously not a bad reason to visit a restaurant. However, although we were seated right away no one took our drink order for quite awhile, in fact by the time our drink order was taken we were ready to order. The lychee martini I ordered was awful - watery and almost wam. Food did arrive quickly though and was very flavorable and very good but not spicey enough. We forgot to ask for some more heat, but also our server never asked about our spiceness preference like most Indian restaurants do. Overall though it was a friendly easy going place, affordable and tasty.

Food very tasty & management & service great. My dining partner was very late due to awful traffic jam. I had time to order & consume an appetizer before he got there & they still didn't push us that hard to turn over the table once he arrived and we ordered our main courses.

Great Indian food. The spicy was not too spicy. Chicken tikka masala was the best we've ever had. Garlic naan was delicious. Will definitely return on our next trip to Seattle.
