Permanently Closed - ANJU

My name is Dipika Batura.I had a confirmed reservation for Jan. 19 at 1:00 pm. I was bringing a friend out for her birthday - something I'd been planning for a couple of years since I had been to your restaurant then and had been wanting to bring her there for a special celebration. When we got to the restaurant, there was a notice plastered on the door about the place being closed because of some heating issues. There was no advance notice sent out . Needless to say it was extremely disappointing and especially because " you" are not a place I'd expect this from. Like I said, I have been to your restaurant before and had loved the place but this recent experience has been very disheartening.

Overall, food was fair. Braised short ribs were VERY salty.

Excellent meal, as always. Note that they are closing at the end of January due to the building being torn down, and they aren't yet sure when & where they will reopen. Our server said they hope to have something secured soon.

our server was fantastic, the only reason i gave a 4 stars for service was because some of the dishes that were dropped off were explained nicely but others were dropped off by people other than our server and they didn’t really take the time to go through what we were eating besides hastily saying the name of the dish and occasionally one accompanying ingredient. i thought the food was delicious, wasn’t expecting the pork shoulder to be sweet but overall still very tasty

Great service, great food, the hostess was the only down part of the experience. A place like this needs a warmer, more welcoming person at the door is my comment

This meal started out very strong with a great server! We enjoyed the charred peppers and the oxtail appetizer. After this, the food quality went downhill for this level of establishment. The pork shoulder had next to no flavour and the short rib was good but not exceptional by any means. The cod and the tofu dish were also average.

Overall, we most likely would not return as this meal was over $150 with tip.

Anju never disappoints! We had the best service and the food was delicious! We had a couple of friends with gluten allergies and they recommended dishes and kept everything separate when serving. It was amazing.

Wonderful meal - everything was perfect. The food was so tasty, the service impeccable and we had a great time!!!

Between 7 people we ordered about half the menu every dish was sooo delicious, perfect for sharing.
Service was prompt and yummy cocktails

Brunch was delicious and food portions were generous. Would absolutely go here again.

It was my wife's birthday and I took her to ANJU. She's very picky but she loved both food and the interior of the restaurant. The service was good too! Thank you.

We were creating our own foodie tour and Anju was on our list. Had a tiger roll and was very yummy - perfect for sharing.

ANJU is perfect for both a date night or a night out with family. The sharing concept was great and we were able to try multiple items on the menu and everyone of them did not disappoint, they were all delicious. The server we had was amazing she knew the menu and really helped us out on what to eat and drink. I have nothing bad to say about ANJU I will definitely be returning soon.

Server was not very helpful or friendly. It was very loud, and hard to hear each other.

Kathy, the host, was an absolute delight. I am so happy to have met her. She is so professional but is so welcoming and warm at the same time. Honestly an amazing dining experience only made better thanks to Kathy’s hospitality!

Sad to say I was dissapointed with our last visit to Anju. We used to love this restaurant, perhaps it was a bad day. It seems like the flavours aren't as good as before. Still good, just not great

Really great place for brunch, the staff was friendly and helpful however found the server was a little slow (took 20 minutes to pay our bill after we received it, got a coffee and took 5 minutes to get sugar/cream for the coffee)

Atmosphere is good, every server was kind and food is also good. But music was little bit loud so its hard to talk with my friend.
